Comments on "On the Street.... Prince St., Soho"
quite possibly the cutest picture I've ever seen. I love the colour of her hair in contrast to the urban concrete.
really cute!
SO CUTE!!!!
well isn't she cute...bet she's pretty sassy too
Ownn, so cute and lovely!
she is adorable
Love the big foots.
That kid's a robot? Wow.
Lovely
Oh what a sassy little thing! She looks so confident, and that hair! As I have said before, I just love gingers :)
I love the charm on her shoelace!
So cute. So New York.
She's got swag and well dressed parents
lovely!
How adorable
EPIC!
well.....of course, i love this one!
absolutely love this.
This kid is so cool! My favourite bit is the curl in her hair - she looks like a tough cookie, way too busy to brush her hair. Once upon a time, I think that was me ... but now, my red hair is straight :(
Love it!
wow! cute! and stylish! i like redheads. and she looks so proud... that's nice.
:)

Even the kids have street style. Loving the trainers with the fat shoe laces! Very snappy.

so great! a budding fashionista, perhaps?
What is it about red-headed children that is so absolutely adorable? Is it because true redheads are fairly rare? Or because, when you see a redhead child, you know there's very little chance that hair comes from a bottle?
In any case, she is adorable. Love the awkward foot.
wow. awesome little kid. i love the mix of pink and red. today you're really making me wish i'd been born with red hair.
I suppose this is a serious case of "start 'em young"? What a lovely-looking girl! It's great that she's not trying to look like an adult, she's just a seriously stylish child, I love her shoes-and the way she's arranged her feet- especially....oh, and that beautiful hair!
http://fashionregardless.blogspot.com/
AND IN FRONT OF THE KIDROBOT WINDOW!!! PERFECT!!!!!
Very cute. Red hair seems to be the thing.
That pattern reminds me of the 80's.
Grey on a redhead is old-fashioned but go bold with Fushia! That child by the way is going to be quite the looker when they grow up. Wonderful features.
That is sutch a cute kid! She looks very selfconfident :D
Check her out! That's awesome!

hippest kid in the school yard
Oh, she a future model or actress, isn't she ? I love the red hair and the attitude. Bravo ! It's quite amazing to see how natural she is even knowing that she's taken a picture of. Great shot ! (And i like the "clin d'oeil" behind her : "kidrobot". She's not a robot at all, she's full of life ! But the colors matche).
soooo cute and trendy at the same time! adorable, love the hair!!
that girl is workin' it. the outfit is not so interesting to me as her pose and her confidence. (well, and her necklace) (um, and the hair barrette) (can you tell i like parenthesis?).

What a cool kid!
Awesome look, I love the red laces!

°great..very cool°
Pretty. xx
cool kid!
So cute. Love redheads and her sneakers. x
www.FashionSnag.com
I love it. Not because of the fashion (which is also great) but because she is a girl dressed like a girl, not a teen or a woman. She looks fantastic, and I can see her self-confidence shining right through!
delicious!!!
http://louis-myfashionshow.blogspot.com/
love the outfit!
http://twitter.com/NYdopedeals
She is adorable! Don't you just love her red hair, the hot pink on her dress, and her red shoelaces? Also I like her stance... The background from the store window is very interesting too.
super cool!
Yaaaay kids
ridiculously cool.
hm.. i would say ..innocent arrogance..
but the leg betrays her childish attitude.. cutie!
Love it! Such a cute little girl. Love her hair and the whole outfit. Good to see that there are no Disney logos or characters on her dress or anything like that. You can only stomache so much Hannah Montana.
Kids fashion is so great. They always look comfortable. I'm a piano teacher, so I get to work with kids a lot. Sometimes I try to dress like them a bit. Leggings are a big hit with little girls, but i refuse to wear crocs!!!

setting, subject & attire absolutely appropriate!
this is wonderful! i'm so glad you take notice of kids - they are not always oblivious or without fashion sense. i love kids who dress themselves and have obvious style. i had much better style as a kid - i wish i had the guts to wear what i want to wear now!
How qute is she! ;)
Please Scott,
give uss more kids, they are perfect!
Thanks,
Lea
Her red hair is absolutely gorgeous. I also love her shoe laces. She is too cute!
Beautiful girl!
www.lipsandpoppies.blogspot.com
This is precious! Her facial expression says "I'm rocking this," and she is! Love the whole outfit.
What a cool kid! I love her red curls. Wish I was this well dressed at that age.
Right on! As a redhead, I had it pounded into me that I COULD NOT WEAR RED or anything remotely smacking of it. The red shoelaces, the pink sabre-tooth shaped wedges and her hair (not to mention the lips and her ruddy knees) are a great antidote to "Thou shall not wear red."
The summer and hot weather is not an exscuse to not look good.
This girl lookss very nice.
Good job.
So great! Love the necklace and hair!
you know, I just love these photographs yo publish. I love the honesty. Thank you. I Love Scott Schuman. Taupo, New Zealand
http://eyescout.blogspot.com/
To me, the waist seems too low and the skirt too short. However, the fabric is fun, and the shoes are a kick, and the accessories are cute, attractive and age-appropriate. Quite a self-possessed young miss.
Quoting The Cut...watch out Tavi!!!!
aw adorable, loving her shoes! x
Gah I wish I was that stylish when I was that age.
THAT LOOK! You really captured something!
What a cool girl :)
LOVE. This girl's got style and tude! Cute shot.
What a cutie!
well what can you say adorable and yet again its a red invasion.
There has always been a real negative attitude to red at least in the uk is this true of everywhere else because something in the last few months has definitely changed no?
Sweet.
Confident up top. Shy on the bottom.
cute!
Kid robot? Great! Cooler than the grown-ups for sure.
I do believe that this kid would be a great model someday.
Adorable red hair and little necklace!
i love it when kids develop their own sense of style very early on. I try to help my step-daughter refine her choices (she's 5) but for the most part when left to her own devices she's a great outfit picker. I like this girl's attitude as well. really great. and the way her ankle is popped to the side, slightly unsure that she's cool with this. and in front of the kids store. I love this.
how lovely she is!!!!
:)
Mini stylist! Gorgeous red hair, I always love red hair with bright pink... and she's jazzed up her laces. Nice one.
http://maybrady.blogspot.com/
So cute !!
nice accessories, kid.
this shot is so great. i love her army of mod creatures behind her in the window
her hair, and darling skin are perfect!
also, what is that pink thing on her laces, new kid trend? possibility...
This little girl is amazing. I wish my mom would have bought me cool outfits like that when I was her age!!
It also reminds me of the pictures of kids you got in your book; those photos were my favorites.
And like you said, "Some people are just born with it"!
Fabulous, so glad you got her photo!
Adorable..I really like her curly red hair! She looks like she's wearing her sister's dress but she's loving it.
http://truelovewayblog.blogspot.com
What a redheaded beauty! She is wonderfully spunky with inherent style and nonchalance.
i love gingers. this girls is super cute
I think the reason I have no interest in seeing photos of kids on this blog is because what she's wearing is not an expression of her taste/personality/style; it's an expression of her parents' taste.
she's outside kidrobot-i love that place! the color of her romper and the store window match well.
Fingers crossed, that my daughter will get the red hair...
She is gorgeous and I love the confident way she looks straight down the camera and yet there is that little twist to the foot and the fingers lightly curled that stop her from being too forward. let's hope she retains those qualities as she grows up. a beautiful study, thank you.
I saw when this picture was taken today, when I ran out for lunch. She was so chill! With a real NY nonchalance to her. Do it mama!
The Kidrobot positioning brings it home. Great shot, great attitude and a lovely photo of a girl, still being a kid.
www.Hautezone.blogspot.com
Perfect backdrop! Nice!!
Her red hair is outstanding! Very cute.
Oh my gosh. Where do I get a kid that cute? Is she not just the most adorable thing? And her shoestrings match her hair! Awesome. And I have to, um, disagree with kids not having their own taste. I have tons of kiddies in my family, and they all have very distinct tastes in clothes.
Wow, looks like we got a natural model on our hands! Look at her pose!
I wish she would smile! I've never met a kid who doesn't smile for a picture!
she looks so pretty and nice!
Hello Dasein!
she looks like she'll grow up into the woman below..
what an awesome little kid! ... i kinda want her sweet jumpsuit...
so cute! what a great sense of style :D
What can I say? I love red hair period. It's so beautiful. This is a great shot, the stance, the shoelaces, the red hair, the beautiful kid.
so so cool outfit
Adorable, just darling and a great attitude!

I love that you are publishing a mix of people these days, and that not all of them look quite perfect, yet every single one looks totally like themselves. And yes, this is how fantastically amazing children dress: slightly messy with a wonderful sense of play. I disagree with Audrey: I don't see parent here at all.
When a girl is that age, most parents have very little say in what a kid will wear. This is her personal style, I have a feeling. I also see a little smile and love her lips matching her laces. Go girls!!!
I hope someone will convince her before she hits her teens that tanning and hair-straighteners are the devil.
She is so adorable!! I always see so many cute kids on the street that i would love to photograph but I always am too shy to ask their parents...
wow she is looking so gorgeous in this way.i am big fan of her.
How gorgeous and sartorially forward is this adorable red head? Great post!
AH! I sincerely think this little DOLL came from the future. She is my future daughter. FOR SURE.
kwanderlust.blogspot.com
Four redheads in a weeks Sarto! This is great! @notsurebut...redheads get a lot of negative coverage in Australia, where I'm from --even made fun of in TV commercials, general teasing and bullying and the whole "ginge" thing. Yuk. But when you see little girls like this you know that the teasing and bullying must come from a place of jealousy. RED POWER!
so lovely :x
dear melissa,
you don´t meet that many children at all, let alone have any, do you ?
this photo is endlessly fascinating by the way.
Cute little girl :)
Doesn't get any cuter than this little girl! I used to always wish for her hair color when I was little... still do actually! :)

Linda demais!Muito estilo!
Next Supermodel!wow
Keep up the photos of different generations. I just love the diversity of ages you capture, each with their own charms, oddities, and beauty. This blog just gets better and better.
Just the way that the reflection in the widow is, she looks like she is wearing a tall bronze crown. Love the Elmo creation on her left shoe, too.
i love the way shes positioned her feet! and her hairrrr! those sneakers are the bomb, she has so much attitude. lovely
Red heads unite! She is so cute and tough at the same time. Love it!
So stylish!
i love it.
Nikki
lovely :)
wow, this kid is chic!
Kids should never be made to smile for a photograph, It's against their grain.
They should be defiant, or serious, or mistrustful, or they should be laughing a splitting-their sides laugh, but not smiling, unless caught unawares, and smiling to themselves.
You portrait the young, as you do the old : with truth.
¡Enhorabuena!
Awww, she's doing the footsy thing. Well, that's what kids do. It's only when adults do it that it looks cloy and affected.
possibly the cutest picture I've ever seen here...
Too cool for school!
kiss
A young Westwood???
The one in front looks almost real..
She's beautiful!!!
I love the tilted right foot, a sweetly shy counterpoint to her otherwise fearless pose.
I KNOW THAT GIRL!!
Adorable little Lady!
Love the colors, between the hair and this cool dress......great shot!
Kisses

lovely..
www.nobodyknowsmarc.blogspot.com
She is saying... "Talk to the Hand". So cute, a fellow fire head. Her shoes are so cute, I want a pair!
This young lady is most definitely a sass-master. You can tell by the gleam in her eyes. Love the photograph Scott.
i always do that with my foot when i stand for a picture
Oh oh... pangs of my baby clothes addiction is raising it's greedy head. Love kids clothes that look like shrunken adults, but better. Good job my daughter is grown now. My credit cards are safe... until I have grandchildren anyway.
kidrobot! lovely!
Coolest kid ever.
she is really cute
I love her hair it's color and cut and that little clip at the side. The contrast against the dress and shoes is kinda striking.
i love red hair little girls
http://bulbizar.blogspot.com/
Kids have all the style. love it!
Favourite post yet. She's adorable. Love her hair. x
this is a cool picture!!Xx the outfit, shell toes w/ fatlaces, her hair even the kid robot store in the background..another classic shot for the record
check out the little bit of material around her neck. such a cute little touch! what a sweetheart.
adorable.
She's so cute and I like so much the red hair !
Cute! She already knows how to pose. I guess she will be a great model in the future! ^^
xoxo Sandra
http://glamirrorous.com
Love how the background goes with the whole theme :)
And the tiny pink thingie hanging from her shoelaces is a nice touch.
I love the picture, I find the girl very cute.....but how can she be compared to Tavi...which way..
Tavi's success is incomparable!!!
and moreover she's growing big and popular...her journey is all set from cuteness to hotness....:-)
I love how her face says confidence but her feet say insecure...overall its an intriguing look & to have style at a young age shows self identity already unless the parents had helped her of course haha.
Awesome! Love her stare and big ol' sneakers. (Glad that she's not being taught crap about making her feet/self look delicate and minimized.) And love the age-appropriateness of her ensemble even more.
no fair. she's so cute.
I love to see you include children. I work in a children's clothing store and it's fascinating to see the way they put things together as they're developing their sense of style. This little girl has such defiance and strength. Wonderful!
Why is this kid so fashionable?
Its cute and all, but spending a lot on kid's clothes is kind of pointless. They grow out of them sooo fast. She's still adorable though.
Wait, how in the hell is she compared to Tavi on The Cut? Haha.
It's not so pointless to spend money on kid's clothing. Haven't you ever heard of little sisters?
Oh, the pressures of being the child of hipsters....
Pretty in Pink...
Best shot of the year so far. Fantastic face and expression held on a powerful neck, great top heavy tension in the subject, crooked horizon line and all of it visually balanced on that one crooked ankle. Great moment -- it and she are a gem.
COOOOOOL !!!
This is an example of the perfect outfit on the perfect woman. It's going into my look book
Elaine
you can never go wrong with shell toes
She already knows how to dress (or her mom does), nice!
Well-dressed how? Enlighten me as to how this outfit can be considered "well-dressed" for goodness sakes.
Cool trainers!
The fashion-consciousness starts at an early age... I love it though... this girl will be very independent as she gets older, you can just tell
She definitely has style. Long way to go but I can't wait to see how she'll be in the later years. Also the way she posed her feet is great! Brings more childish, cuteness into it and so does the Kidrobot background!! :)
cuteness!
she looks so cute!!!!
WOW BABY!!!!!1
She is one demigoddess walking the earth. That why she can wear everything and just look great.
stunning creature!!
I read that in a few hundred years, there'll be no more (natural) redheads left on the planet - recessive gene, etc. Seeing photos like this make me think that we need to collect redheaded genetic material and freeze it for future use, not trying to save and store heritage seeds! It would be such a shame if this kind of beauty went extinct...
