Looks like Joey Ramone's kid brother got some new threads and moved to the West Vilage.

I wish I had been so well detailed at that age - sigh!

Dig the coat although it is cut a bit large and baggy for him. The red scarf is definitely high quality and a welcome addition to the outfit. I think he cold have spent a bit more time on the rest of his outfit though--or else switched to a black motorcycle jacket or some other black outerwear. The red scarf definitely needs to stay. Great photo, Sart, BTW.

Blogger Christina Elaine said ... (11:08 AM) :

I love the camel stripe red scarf combo.

Blogger KFad said ... (11:15 AM) :

Is he going for the Jonas Brother who got too cold in his sailor's outfit look?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:17 AM) :

i love the two-tone grey/camel coat. i could write a short story about this guy.

thanks for your blog! i'm a long time reader - and a first time commenter. keep up the real street style! it's more inspiring and motivating (for me) than the vogue editorialista pics - though those are fun, too. take care.

Blogger Coco and Zaahb said ... (11:24 AM) :

The stripes and the red scarf is a great combo, i love that he's wearing sneakers

Blogger Klever Girl said ... (11:27 AM) :

I'm liking the color combination, unfortunately it comes down to fit. It fits a bit too large for his frame. but the colors do bring it up a notch!

I generally always love your photos, but this one with the kid smoking, I find to be in poor taste. He's not even that cool...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:02 PM) :

too young to be smoking, maaaaan. the style scene breeds it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:06 PM) :

love this photo
his shoes are great

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:13 PM) :

Loove those sneakers! Anyone have an id on those??

Blogger KC said ... (12:36 PM) :

i just love the whole picture. the background adds additional appeal to his outfit. He might not have looked as good without the yellow cabs lol yeah, i agree the coat is a bit too large. but it certainly has a whole different feel with the oversized overcoat.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:02 PM) :

I am really loving the oversize - large shoulders (note not shoulder pads) look at the moment. Great pic.

Blogger Soviétique said ... (1:05 PM) :

Effortlessly cool. GOD, I miss the village! Best style in NYC in my opinion. The village is where it is.

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:21 PM) :

great tailoring on the jacket. assuming it was specially made just for him.

Anonymous princess glee said ... (4:53 PM) :

What a great coat and the scarf really gives it a nice shot of colour!

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:23 PM) :

GREAT COAT!

Anonymous Flo said ... (6:20 AM) :

Usually, i appreciate most of pic on sartorialist but here this is not the case.
He doesn't have the build to wear this kind of coat. Then why used these sneakers ? I dont think he did the right choice (maybe he should try an other model or real shoes), there is a gap with the rest of this dress.
Oh yes an overblouse to finish his outfit, why? Because we can see this cloth everywhere now.
Well, it's my opinion don't hate if i'm not a sheep :(

Anonymous proletarian Great Gatsby said ... (3:57 AM) :

Beautiful picture with the red flag(scarf) between the two yellow taxis.

Blogger switt said ... (3:56 PM) :

This is fabulous! I love the somewhat dressy camel coat paired with the skinny jeans and sneakers. Effortless and confident.

Anonymous Galila said ... (12:50 AM) :

I like the style/look... but he seems a bit young to be smoking... that would lead to bad skin/ hygiene/ health, as everyone already knows. I just love his hair though.
