nize shoes!
Great shot!
And the whole outfit is amazing! The striped shirt, the skirt, the shoes!
Love it!
the laid back style and laid back attitude. i love it.

Incredible photograph . . . not just the girl, but the whole background. What a great look she has - and what fantastic hair!
It's so interesting when a combination of clothes speaks to a personl style, but as was just said, alone those pieces would be a bit dull.
LOVE the boots!!!
Lovely MARNI shoes!!!!!!!
Love those Marni shoes! I don't suppose she was cycling in that short skirt/ high heels combination?
I love the vibe! Urban hippie :)
does anyone know who made those shoes???? please comment on blog if you do!

This is one I have a hard time defining. Boots, shirt and hair say winter, short skirt says summer. Skirt is cute shirt is sloppy... whew! I think I need a Xanax lol!
Actually CW, she can ride her vie just fine. I do it all the time in heels and skirts.
Heels on a bike are no problem at all. She just needs to be strategic with the skirt - unless she's devil-may-care.
vvvvv chic... and yes the shoes!!

I appreciate how the chrome of her boots echoes the chrome fenders of the bike.
THE SHOES ROCKS!!!
she looks so lovely and yet, so natural...
Yes, this looks so lower east side and so out of place on Madison av. New York.
Amo as fotos The Sartorialist.
Kisses from Brasil.

those. boots. are. amazing.
I love the outfit, those shoes are niceee.
omg amazing. amaziiinngggg how cool is that. like seriously.
Love the little Eifel tour attached to her keys!!;)
Ok, no, alright, that's a no.
Great photo, looks like spring time has arrived to lower East side, and I am lovin' it.
Skirts and bikes and boots can go together, honestly, it is more the vehicles and other people to 'skirt around' that I find difficult riding around in city.
xo
I love this. If I had the hair and legs, I would totally wear this. Oh, and I don't ride a bike. She looks like a young (and dressier) Patti Smith. The skirt is an unexpected contrast to the casualness of the top and boots. Love it. Love the stop sign in the background. Who is she?
I really like inspiration like this. I am breaking out of my comfort zone and experimenting with patterns and colors!
Love how she looks! :)
Beautiful! I want her hair
xx
She looks oh-so-chic!

listen to the song "ludlow street" by julian casablancas (lead singer of the strokes) and tell me it doesn't go hand in hand with this pic. DAHLING I LAHVE IT.
nice shoes..

Je t'aime Miranda! And they're sandals with socks, not boots.
great style, very laid back and playful... i also looove her hair.
xo
Those actually look like strappy high heels and socks rather than boots.
Free Bird!
Loving that skirt. It has a pleasing texture in a golden yellow... Perfacto!!!
Fashion Panache
My Travelogue
Real women ride in heels! And Skirts! I do it all the time! You go girl!
Love those shoes.
The metallic detail on the boots makes this look complete.
Love the shoes with socks and the combo of navy stripes with yellow brocade. x

sandal-yes! her hair is pretty but seems to be used to hide her face/eye. for lady godiva hair was an accessory, in this photo hair is a crutch.
beautiful!!! the skirt is perfect!!! she has style!!
Besos,

She is fully convinced about her socks fitted into those nice pair of boots... Mee too !!
by golly!
gorgeous! she looks like she kicks some ass and takes names, all while looking stunning.
she looks so cool in an unexpected way!
Today it's dificult to see a T-shirt like that one without thinking on Jean-Paul Gaultier.Interesting those sculptures that she uses as shoes.
The Marni lucite heels! noo..I've been looking for those forever! This photo's great, btw, Scott.
i love the pop of yellow in this outfit, and of course the wood heels.
xoxo,

Reminds me a little of Daiane Conterato.
HOT!
I love this!
I have always wanted to try socks with high heels. She makes it look oh so chic. And that skirt with the outfit is so glam.
cool outfit...nice shoes!!
Seems like an interesting play of volume
It takes a lot of courage to wear something like this. It's so clashing and wonderful at the same time. And the hair!
GORGEOUS photos!xxx
THE HOLLYWOOD CURSE
Total mismatch! The pieces in itself aren't bad though.
MIRANDA :)
Bicycle = best accessory.
http://izzenxoxo.blogspot.com
isn´t she the girl who play with julian casablancas?? sorry my english..... im from argentina
was watching you shooting this girl cross the road in a restaurant ))
very cool...though her legs are mottled with cold and it feels like the confidence is slipping because of the child-size skirt.
Sad I missed you while you were in the hood, Scott.
i looove the shoes and socks!

This is one of those "je ne sais quoi" outfits that, on paper, shouldn't work but in practice looks fantastic. Love the way she finesses the sandals-with-socks look... one has to look twice to see that she's not wearing boots. And a previous poster's right--she does have a Patti Smith vibe!
Ooh, the shoes!!
www.sarabbentley.blogspot.com
I like the stop sign.
to be perfectly honest, new york fashion tends to leave me cold. it's part of the reason i left new york and moved to milan instead.
Vogue Gone Rogue
A tough look softened with a pleated skirt and wonderful long hair. beautiful contrast.
O yeah! Great stylish lady!
She looks just wonderful from top to toe!
Aiii!!! I HAVE JUST NOTICED AFTER SECOND GLANCE: SHE HAS A KEY-RING WITH La Tour d'Eiffel!!!
That's not a coincidence, Mr. Schuman ? :-))
haha nice hair..
Funny, heads down, her outfit is very contemporary (love the striped top and the boots!). Yet this photo reminds me of Franz Von Stuck's painting and his women - dark, strong, and mysterious - a proper femme fatale.
Its her posture, the mass of hair, and the lighting that does it, I think.
Mircat is a lovely, striped delight!
i like her skirt
She looks great. I have similar shoes and will be sportin' those babies today avec socks!
Latter-day Patti Smith. Awesome.
It's pretty obvious those are heels with socks, why do people keep referring to them as boots?
I love that this whole thing feels so New York, even her Eiffel tower key chain.
Love her hair but don't like the outfit at all. There's too much going on.
Own !!! Bicicleta + sandália alta + meias + chaveiro = elegância = scott e suas lindas lentes !!!
Um beijo, smac!
Nice comments here
love the shot and her style
To have hair that long u need to either style it on a braid, ponytail, bun, straighten it, curl it, I don't know.... Otherwise you look like Cousin It......... Can't barely see her! The outfit is predictable, love the boots and the fact she hangs around Ludlow makes up for any faux pas. Just love the LES!
im in love with the effortless pose. great work on capturing such ease!
she lloks gorgeous, but i dont think she's wearing the perfect outfit for a ride on her bike...
nice skirt! why is everyone saying "nice boots?" they look like strappy shoes with socks to me!
nice SKIRT !! and Keyrings
'ㅁ'
Oh my gosh, Miranda is that you???? It's Katy the rug girl! Why does this not surprise me that I found you here! too funny! Hope to bump into you again at another Alex shin dig.
Yikes! Not a well put together look in my opinion. I don't like the skirt (at least not with that outfit), the striped sweater doesn't work with it and the boots aren't attractive. Even her long, thick hair isn't working. Sorry, but this seems like a miss to me...
beautiful girl
That outfit is all sorts of wrong. And that horse hair... yeesh.
