This is the first of these photos that I have really truly loved...the way the man looked, and the bold shoes along with the black torso (except, of course the bag)...ah! Bien :)
I like the association!
And I like the blue-yellow color combo.
And the cut of the pants!

szucs

people need to wear more colors, by the way....
Hello Dasein!
Nice pairing of photos and it's cool that he seems to be wearing all of the different colors of the flowers too.

I love those flowers!!!
Interesting...comfy...colorful...tucking away this image to unconsiously recall and imitate.
Dear Sartorialist, you are out-doing yourself here. Never mind the fashion insiders, you are at your best when you are out in the street, photographing the creativity of 'ordinary' people, like this guy! :-))))
Risky
one word: SADE!
I love the look on his face! (His clothing sez nothing to me.)
The peg board (or whatever it's called) is genius when flowers are inserted!!
Great, great, pix!
Thanks so much.

Japanese people wear the coolest cut pants. On Earth. In the Universe.
Love the graphic imagery of these pictures.

Looks like a flower market?
Gebera daisies are delivered to markets and flower shops in boxes kind of like this to protect their stems. I love it!
I like the contrast of the man and his clothes, quite a shock.

the flowers look so pretty. but why are they hanging on a wall?
I have been enjoying your blog for what seems like forever, but never have I been so engrossed by a series of location shots as I am by these images from Japan. These wonderful people, with such a fabulously varied aesthetic, really know how to play with clothes, and as usual, your responsive eye has found superb examples for us to contemplate. Thanks to you and all your subjects for giving us great joy.
The second pic is amazing! wow!
