Beautiful Outift!! Love it!!

Blogger May Brady said ... (3:16 AM) :

Nice touch with the belt - I always struggle with heavy coats, the contrast of a narrow, good quality belt works perfectly (and hints at a waist!).

Blogger Michelle J Flynn said ... (3:28 AM) :

the narrow belt over the thick coat makes it for me!

Anonymous Indie Mom and the Reluctant Banker said ... (3:31 AM) :

Ah, I love the green / brown combo!

Blogger va-jenna said ... (3:31 AM) :

the texture of the fabric looks perfect for big chill weather. the dark green really works well with her hair colour too.

Blogger WE SPY WITH MY LITTLE i said ... (4:00 AM) :

Loving the construction and colour of the coat! Its a beauty! Especially the pockets!

Like the neutral color mixed with the green coat. The pants are great...you don't see people wearing printed patterns on slacks very much anymore.

Conservative yet fashionable.

Cold Paris - yet a photograph can't escape a great sense of warmth when there's a pure blue sky in the backdrop!

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:27 AM) :

paris is too chilly maintenant. love how her belted coat combats cold with style

Blogger davidikus said ... (6:10 AM) :

It's good to see a belt on a coat that was not necessarily designed to be belted!

In the past few years (since Christophe Lemaire took over ?) Lacoste has systematically produced some of the greatest advertising campaigns on the market. The theme, the ideas, the light, the photography, the models, the styling: every thing has just been perfect. It has completely transformed the image of the brand. Has it been Ellen Von Unwerth all along?

Beautiful.
Green coat and brown check pants.
So classic.
So contemporary.

Anonymous Alexis said ... (10:43 AM) :

Fab coat. Looks great with the belt.

Anonymous proletarian Great Gatsby said ... (10:54 AM) :

I love the coat:this green coat.
Muffled up in the dark olive green coat she walks camoufled in this forest of green and brown.

Blogger Korver said ... (11:53 AM) :

I love the simplicity and yet depth of this outfit - this is definitely something that the average citizen can do.

Blogger FASHION SNAG said ... (12:20 PM) :

I love that green coat. It is one of my favorite colors and it looks fabulous with the pants she is wearing! xo

Bon Chic Bon Genre...très fille française...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:38 PM) :

elegant and understated. gets my vote.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:14 PM) :

it's virginia smith from vogue

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:38 PM) :

I believe that is Virginia Smith from American Vogue. The belt brings out her waist and keeps the coat from looking too boxy. The pants keep the outfit from being rather generic...love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:47 PM) :

I'm going to be a contrarian and say that I think it's a beautiful coat, but the belt just looks awkward to me. I think the coat's material is too thick to be belted. She's clearly slim-waisted but the bulky coat bunched up is just unflattering, makes her look heavier than she is.

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:57 PM) :

It's Virginia Smith from Vogue - that woman understands fashion - obviously!

Anonymous Mister B said ... (3:28 PM) :

Not loving. Individually there are lovely pieces but they seem off in this outfit.

Anonymous princess glee said ... (4:44 PM) :

Love green and a leather-belted coat.

Blogger Joana said ... (5:17 PM) :

Simple and perfect.

Love it.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (7:13 PM) :

Love the coat, the warm green, the lush wool...am wondering if it would have looked better belted but unbuttoned.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:18 PM) :

this is wonderful
i love the green coat and the plaid trousers.
its has a very english feel to it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:33 PM) :

Virginia! Love the coat with the skinny belt. The bag is also perfection.

Blogger no-more-wire-hangers said ... (1:49 AM) :

to be honest that coat isnt up to much. but when you team it with that belt - it becomes a whole other thing.
great choice of accessory!

Blogger Alicia said ... (1:06 PM) :

ok it's official: I'm belting all my big coats

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:45 PM) :

this picture is capturing a fleeting moment which i love, her bag is to die for, but im not keen on the skinny belt with the big coat; it looks mismatched.

Anonymous GUGA said ... (8:57 AM) :

One Word... DULL ....

This is as boring as a diet coke without gas....

Blogger jo16 said ... (3:05 PM) :

love the belt with the coat!!!

Anonymous chrissie said ... (8:23 PM) :

to be honest, i'm kind of over the belt over the big coat look. just because she put a belt over it doesn't make it fashionable

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:33 AM) :

She works for Vogue USA! with Anna wintour! don't know her name, but her face!
nice coat

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:44 PM) :

thats virginia smith from american vogue, she's married to patrick robinson (GAP). i used to intern at vogue- her style is very michael kors, all-american and not very interesting, although i found her to be one of the most likable people in the office
