Comments on "On the Street.....Our Friend, Milano"
Look at those shoes and the fedora! Not to mention the bike, with a satchel. What a man. Gran Paparazzi would be proud.

Travellin' in style!
I love the pannier, cuff guard and stylings on the bike: Just beautiful. Our friend looks pretty terrific, too!
I have a great distain for the fedora - I despise them with a passion! However, I shall make an exception in this case because when I grow up I want to be just like you Mr Cigar man! Your my hero!
WE SPY WITH MY LITTLE i
his shoes even match his scarf - this guy has the matchy matchy thing going on!
Gentlemen wear hats.

Very Mister Mort.
More than anyone you've ever taken a photo of- and more than any photo you've taken- I need to draw this!!!! His leg out to the side supporting him and the cigar coming out of his mouth DEAD center. YES!
Oh I love the greens, plaids, argyle and different leathers. In concept all that would be too much. In reality it's subtle, individual and right on the money.
Oh what a character! He look marvellous on his bicycle... and I adore the colour of his shoes.
Love from Calypso

"A" he's adorable!
great image
this is how i want to end my life; crusin' in timeless style, looking forward to read the gazetto dello sport (the pink newa paper)
I'd give him a light--let him have the lighter as a matter of fact. Dressed nattily for urban combat. Don't step on his (brown-green, not blue) suede shoes.
love his style. old-fahion is always extraordinary!
Nice!!

Great subtle color differences. And the glasses are really awesome but look like he was wearing them even when they were "out of style."
Classy guy

There is an elegance and poise that only life's experiences can bring. It would take a precocious young man to carry himself the same way this man has.
Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. And then there are the times when it really is all about the cigar.
O, he knows what he is doing.., :)
This man is fabulous. I can practically smell the cigar.
What a fabulous picture!!!

He is incredible. I love how you can't feel the "I don't care" attitude exuding from his pores. Excellent.

Those shoes, those shoes, those shoes! I am done! Beautiful!!
In general, I also don't like fedoras too much, but will make an exception here!
He is cool!

Ah! He runs the most amazing Restaurant La Libera! This man always looks totally impeccable! suits, shoes, ties everything spot on. Oh and the food and hospitality is fabulous too!
looks like a homeless guy who just threw everything he owns on to stay warm.
from the knees down...the pattern work, color choices all of it, fabulous! but that soup catcher is an NO for me. no thank you!

Like a true milanese this man never travels without pink sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport. That's Inter's Mario Balotelli (nimber 45) on the front cover, which I think tells me this photo was taken last Monday.
Sherlock Holmes has been always neat !
i like that little plaid pant leg and that little argyle sock sticking out.

The Owner of La Libera RISTORANTE BIRRERIA CON CUCINA. Via Palermo 21 Milano.
He's carrying a Tutto Sport in his basket! We love him already! Not forgetting the pistachio suede shoes!
Ah ha ! A caracter ! I love the cigare (and the bicycle with the lether bag). Great style, nice glaces, hat, colors, gloves, shoes, great pic. The traffic light definitly adds something. This is realy italian. Bravo !
jazzy independence looks in the mirror and walks proudly out the door and the day begins..... another one out of the park!
What an elegant and charismatic gentleman.

Is he one of the Grimbert brothers? The two brothers were featured on this site about two years ago.
Just as natty as can be!
Oh, he is just delightful! Love the trousers the most.

All these oldsters in Milan are the coolest. What's in the water over there?
That's what I call multitasking - bravo! And bravo for the style - yes!
I love his image !
Hoho ... thats almost like a cartoon..... a little fantasy in the cosmopolitan routine... GREAT!!!!.....keep it up uncle
I love this guy. He has such a great style!!!!!His pictures are always amazing!!!
A reader above said she'd like to draw him.
I'd love to write a story about him!
The moustache!!!Its superb! Why hasn't anyone mentioned it. Facial hair as fashion/style statement at its best. He is just fantastic!
This man looks fantastic! Those shoes! Those pants! That scarf! That mustache! Younger men should hope to look this natural in their clothing and this stylish.

The cicar makes it all
Such a style and attitude - WORK IT GPA
Take note, every item this gent is wearing was purchased at separte places and at different times most likely. This supports the fact ..style is honed over a period of time like the edge of a sharp instrument...a razor for example.
