Love how the sports jacket fits him. Now that warmer weather is around the corner, we'll be seeing more of the "no socks" look. Thanks for sharing.

Love how the right guy cuffed his pants. It's also very refreshing to see a denim shirt underneath his blazer.
Let's grow up later

I LOVE how Italian men can be so casual yet so stylish. I love the bag, the leather jacket, the scrunched up sleeves on the tweed coat and the cropped pants and leather shoes. Why can't American men follow suit??!!!?!?!???

Blogger Rock Couture said ... (2:05 PM) :

The guy on the left is super hot!

Blogger EL said ... (2:09 PM) :

These two gents are the exact ends of my personal style spectrum.

In fact, two of my friends tweeted me and said the guy in the grey blazer reminds them of myself. I am all about a slim silhouette. (I'm 6'1", 125 pounds, so that is my aesthetic.)

I really appreciate the contrast between the street chic on the left and the casual elegance on the right. It's like a chance meeting of style moments, in the right place at the right time.

Short pants, no socks. Very brave and daring. I like the awkwardness of it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:43 PM) :

One on the left looks like a well put together guy.... the one on the right an affected styless late to the plate want to be...that look is tired regardless of the city in which it is worn.

Blogger SabinePsynopsis said ... (2:46 PM) :

Another proof that denim shirts are so cool!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:52 PM) :

Anonymous °°matias° said ... (3:18 PM) :

Vukmirovic is without any doubt one of the top dressed guys around!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:32 PM) :

Don't like teh short trousers or the clown shoes. The guy with he bag is great. Casual and self-assured. The bag is fantastic!

Blogger anthony said ... (3:34 PM) :

What is the purpose of short longs for men? I also think the baseball cap should go. Apart from all that their clothes and posture are exceptional.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:44 PM) :

I like what both men are wearing overall but I think the guy on the left looks just a little better. I like a relaxed look but there's something about the fit on guy-on-the-right that I think is a little off. Also, I'm not a fan of high-water trousers.

Guy-on-the-left is cool but gets points deducted for wearing a backwards baseball cap.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:46 PM) :

Guy on the right is HOT, but the short pants have to go. Such a tired look. Longer pants and socks would finish his look off nicely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:03 PM) :

That's Milan Vukmirovic from Officiel Hommes. Great magazine!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:19 PM) :

lovely men both, backwards cap is so american plebeian

Anonymous Karina S. said ... (4:23 PM) :

ita - the guy on the left is super hot - actually both are - but the baseball cap? Not so sure. I love his bag.
The denim shirt is really working well

Blogger Skinny Suspenders said ... (6:47 PM) :

Love the guy on the right. If you are going to be simple and modern, that's perfect.

Anonymous zuccotto said ... (6:57 PM) :

They look like brothers..

Anonymous $5 Basics said ... (7:33 PM) :

i love the proportions on the man on the right. one of the few times i've seen pants worn that far below the waist work so well. somehow even with the low waist and shorter hem he still looks so tall and lean. is it because the low waist creates a longer torso? is it his lack of socks? is it both?

in other news i love that leather jacket. perfection.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:37 PM) :

Guy on right needs interesting socks. I'm over the male ankle unless it's above a sandal. Otherwise very stylish and particularly nice sleeve work. Guy on left needs to look more Italian!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:38 PM) :

GARRET NEFF IS ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:09 PM) :

I'm sorry to say, I know that I'm light years behind, but the sockless thing in anything but loafers and mocs is kind of killing me. Also, hems these days are treading the dangerous boundary of becoming capri-pants.

Blogger M.C. said ... (10:38 PM) :

Garrett's leather jacket is supposedly DSquared.

Blogger maximilian said ... (2:27 AM) :

Milan Vukmirovik & Garrett Neff, incredibly handsome, and just incredibly dapper!!

looooove them both!!!!

Anonymous EVA said ... (4:37 AM) :

Love how the denim shirt works with the grey blazer!!! I' m gonna try to translate this to woman clothes.

Short trousers are cool and stylish but I think doesn't work with that leather big shoes.
I picture the outfit on the right with the left guy shoes. The hole outfit would be more equilibrated.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:49 AM) :

I just don't get the pants. What is it? Looks childish, goofy, and destroys all proportions.

Anonymous SwwetPea said ... (7:17 AM) :

Nice picture but, oh come on!.
The guy on the left is dressed in an decidedly unremarkable way. The guy on the right is dressed in a decidedly remarkable way (i.e. very odd!).

I'm all for self expression but if my man went out dressed like that, he'd be going out without me!

Anonymous Enrique said ... (8:34 AM) :

A great pair of leather lace-ups can be as luxurious as having your own car. That's what taxis are for!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:36 AM) :

The guy on the right looks great, I like all of the proportions he's got going on. It all looks neat and well put together but relaxed at the same time.

The guy on the left would look much better if he wasn't wearing his cap like a 15 year old boy, I like his bag though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:28 AM) :

For me fashion never works if it throws off the proportions of the body too much. The cropped pants look does two very bad things to men - it makes legs look too short and feet much too large. I'm sorry but those feet look like clown feet. Now the guy on the left is another story - my idea of perfect masuline dressing. You can tell he cares but he is not going overboard. I can't even imagine him in clam diggers.

Blogger Kathleen said ... (9:29 AM) :

Both of these gentlemen have their own fashion stories to tell. I love both outfits. Now, I am completely convinced that short pants "are in" if you will. Not sure about the sock-less dress shoe, but all together it works.

Blogger Izzen said ... (9:34 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:48 AM) :

The man on the left should move to America with his baseball hat.

Anonymous Paolo said ... (11:06 AM) :

Love the guy on the right!
Ok, those shoes are amazing (YSL?), but the entire outfit just rocks!!

Anonymous notsurebut said ... (11:55 AM) :

this is so funny, take a few years off both of them and they could be a couple of kids squaring up in the playground something to do with the too short pants and the backwards hat.......

Blogger robinson said ... (12:21 PM) :

what is milan's watch, anybody know?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:31 PM) :

Great photo, as always.

I do not understand this trend of men squeezing into clothes that are way too short/too small for them. They may be considered "fashionable" at the moment, but they are not flattering, nor are they stylish. Give me classic look over fashion anyday.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:55 PM) :

"Excuse me, might you have an extra pair of socks in that bag of yours?"

Blogger unoqueopina said ... (1:50 PM) :

Milan V. is a so well dressed man. He has this "relaxed elegance" to everything he wears.
Also, it's nice to look at a designer that actually looks good (with all due exceptions).

Blogger Baba said ... (1:55 PM) :

I'm sorry, but a baseball cap worn backwards is an unforgivable fashion crime, in my book.

Also, the pants on the gentlemen on the right are awful. I don't object to the length, per se, but they are too low slung on the waist and sloppy-looking. And are those PLEATS? Tsk Tsk.

Blogger Prutha Raithatha said ... (2:26 PM) :

love the picture

http://donotshoeme.blogspot.com/

Anonymous Specialward said ... (2:58 PM) :

Guy on the left is Neff, who IS american. I hate caps but when you know there's awesome hair under it, you can probably let it slide. Also just realized how tall clam digger man is...knowing that Neff is over 6 feet.

Anonymous ClownClothesR4Clowns said ... (3:05 PM) :

Reminds me of story of 'The Emperor's New Cloths'
I feel it's my duty to tell them both that these are NOT good looks!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:40 PM) :

American women love a man in a baseball cap!

Blogger Judy said ... (4:44 PM) :

Garrett Neff looks great in this picture! I love the entire outfit, all the way down to the bag...

Blogger Caille said ... (5:24 PM) :

Milan can wear absolutely anything he wants and still be the hottest man on the block. Jeez.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:18 PM) :

makes me want to yank his trousers up a few inches. nice blazer, denim shirt, sunglasses, and potentially nice pants, but why do they need to be half-way down his ass? and unless he has unusually long toes..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:34 PM) :

the suede shoes are beautiful. there's something wonderful about a broken in pair of well made shoes. it's a narrow window between broken in and busted. this guy is right in that window. good on him and the shoe trees he no doubtedly has at home.
*sP

Blogger AJW18 said ... (8:52 PM) :

That is Garrett Neff on the left, no? He is certainly looking quite dreamy.

Blogger L said ... (12:44 AM) :

I love the way the shirt lays on the man on the right. His entire outfit is casual chic and I love it!Saxxy!I've never seen a man without socks look sooo hot..

Blogger Michael Q. said ... (12:40 PM) :

My eyes were immediately drawn to the gent on the right. It's not an outfit I can pull off yet, but I really like the attitude it portrays. The pleats combined with the cropped length struck me as odd, initially, but it works for me. It's brilliant because he can actually lounge with his hands in his pockets and there's room in his pants for him to do that. It's a casual but but still chic.

Blogger j'ai faime pour couture said ... (6:30 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:28 AM) :

The more I see of these short cropped pants the better I like them. Thank you Thom Browne!! J.Crew has the pants that fit great and have the look, I can't get enough of them.....

Anonymous Sophie said ... (10:40 PM) :

The man on the right is obviously good looking, and his outfit has attitude, but I am really drawn to the man on the right. Beard shadow, wayfarers, shirt not quite tucked in but showing his belt, ankles. He looks like someone it would be fun to know :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:46 PM) :

Oh, I'm dying heah. The short pants, the cool shoes, the great belt, the dangling watch, the shaved head. This is my ideal man in a most effortlessly cool outfit. Thank you. I will now go clear my head.

Blogger Hans said ... (1:49 PM) :

I don't like the stinkin' shoes without socks, it only "looks" cool

Anonymous Ty said ... (6:02 PM) :

he´s like the hottest bald man EVER. really. the hottest.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:30 PM) :

Milan Vukmirovic always manages to look effortlessly stylish, but you've got to think that he spent some hours in front of the mirror to get the proportions right.

As $5 Basics wrote, Milan manages the low waist and cropped pants without looking like he's too long on top and too short on the bottom.

I wonder how many times he adjusted the cuffs to get the crop just right.

He does look fine without socks but I don't like the clammy feel of feet in leather.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:14 PM) :

Many people have started to really like the look and feel of Linen Pants. They can provide the exact amount of coverage of any other pant, but feel so much better.

They are so much lighter than other pants, and they can really feel not only more comfortable but easier to wear. Anyone that lives in an area where the temperature gets really warm will love to wear this type of clothing.

Anonymous sewa komputer said ... (12:22 AM) :

Very nice!!

Blogger leatherpress said ... (8:37 PM) :

Love the blue on blue, and the cropped pant legs..but the bag..uhoh. Men need to start showing love and attachment to their bag. As in hold it like it means something, not like its holding dead fish or dog poo from yesterday.
Actually I'm perplexed and saddened by how few men carry bags with distinction, and Satorialist shows this overlook well. Many guys show a great sense of colour, shape, mixing contrasting patterns very creatively..but then you look at their bag...and it all falls down.
