Are those dark brown tights?
Beautifully rugged up!
That first picture is so beautiful. The sunrays, her scarf,...beautiful
Oh my god, yes please! LOVE the knot on the scarf.
stunning, simply
http://jadoretoronto.blogspot.com/
the cropped and rolled jeans not only show off the shoes, but make the whole outfit perfectly gamine.

I love that she's bundled up but can still shows off her legs. If I had her legs, I'd do the same!

Love that first outfit,
and wearing a coat as a dress!

love the jeans and jacket, scarf gorgeous!
amazing pict
in first pic amazing heels! <3
Parisian women is why I live here.
You know about the Japanese shiver therapy? Wear very little on your legs which causes shivering and so builds up muscles (= slim legs). Slightly masochistic, but if we want to look that good the only way to go, I guess.
legs indeed... love the scarf

legs indeed... love the scarf!!

Killer legs and simply chic. Love!
She looks gorgeous and chich and sexy in the first picture . can a man ask for more ?
I like her wrap in the 1st photo
I like the 1st look!!
I would kill for those legs!
WOW, love the legs of the lady in the first pic. So long and toned and stunning! I would kill to have legs like hers...
Gorgeous tights and shoes!! I want them!
She looks so pretty. I like her natural, but fashioned style.
Wow...what a set of gorgeous legs...the stockings are perfect
Great pictures

Just for those who said the shoes, wrap and model in the FIRST pic are great - all of those are the same in the second pic!!
p.s.- beautiful :)
Love the tights and shoes in the first one. She has great legs too.
She has legs to beat the band but the proportions are all wrong with grown up high heels. This intense leggy look is something we shall look back on and know we had it wrong.
Perhaps on young girls with little shoes. But that's it.
Pretty lady!
I wish I had her style!

wahou, j'adore ces filles, vraiment très charmante, d'une élegance incondiscionnelle !

Ohh, I do like legs.

A newer take on what has become THE silhouette in womens fashion. Shorter jeans on longer legs accentuate their length even more. Jardin des Tuileries is where it's at!
Like that first shot very much, Sart. You have a way with background and subject. She is a beauty in autumn tones.
What legs, oh what legs. It should be illegal to cover up legs like those. Works of art.
Wow great shots!
lovely pics. she's so airy.

Who or what reason made her get rid of the trousers?
love the first photo - what legs! what shoes!
What a pretty woman! My goodness!
I love both outfits. Comfy and casual, yet very chic and sexy. Well done!
Photo 2: The anti-capri. And the more fascinating for it.
And yes, hiding those legs would be a crime.
:D
The woman on the first pic must be so cold! Paris is sunny but still! ^^
Strange weather at the first one, was it cold or warm? ;)
love it, her legs, shoes, wearing blazer as a dress !!
http://claudetteatelier.blogspot.com
tremendous 1980's references in both photos.
It's xana from Numero magazine, she is so gorgeous !
the shoes are just georgeous
http://www.iletaitunefoisundressing.com/
Great legs!
Like her shoes and jacket :)
http://fashion-colorhater.blogspot.com/
second photo is not as good
http://rejewellery.blogspot.com/
Let me guess: same girl, same scarf, same coat, same leggings, she just took off the jeans in the first picture, am I right? Nice look, but les Tuileries must be hell to walk around in these shoes ;-)
I just love the photos! I love the Blog.
Love the Adidas shoes on the fellow behind her, and that large Pelican case...
Looks as if a pride of photogs were hunting her.
I do love the tights and shoes. She is gorgeous.
Love these shots, especially the first one. I love the tights under the cuffed jeans and the scarf really stands out.

simple & perfect!
Avec, sur la première photo, un petit air de Catherine Deneuve à ses débuts !

what legs! in the first picture. She seems cold, i would like to take her in my arms
Beautiful hair, beautiful scarf, beautiful legs. Love.
http://lhabitue.blogspot.com/
Why only concentrating on the first subject's legs when her entire being is so evidently beautiful no matter what angle photographed at or leg length, what a beautiful person and style.
Both photos are special, what gift, real, raw, human, beauty!
The top photo looks like Helen Baxendale :) Gorge.
I love the first outfit! But she looks very cold :P
Paris is making me re-think the whole open toe shoe and tights/socks conundrum. The girls really embrace it, and dare I say...it actually looks chic-er than I remembered.

I think this is the same woman, same outfit without the jeans the first time, and with them the second. Amazing what a person can do with just a little imagination.
First photo is divine! Hmmmm now off to investigate this 'shiver therapy'....
xx
Sartorialist = Serramazing?
The morning light reveals strength from the road pushed up through the ancient streets and the high heels.
love the first picture...
http://donotshoeme.blogspot.com/
I want those legs! Love both of these looks
Miss B xx
Yes, the legs in the firt photo are great but... I have to disagree with what seems to be the rest of the world - the outfit is completely disproportionate! Too bulky on top with loooong lean legs...
I love her style but Scott please, can we NOT have smoking depicted in your photos? Like it or not, people look to you as an arbiter of style. Depicting smoking as chic and sexy is dangerous and irresponsible. Smoking is deadly. Images like this must have the tobacco companies licking their lips. I'm sorry to sound off like this. I am an avid reader of your blog and I love your beautiful photos but the smoking thing really rankles. PS I'm a reformed smoker. My husband still smokes, having taken up the habit at 13.
This woman... so beautiful.
Greetings,
Nacho.

she's not wearing her coat as a dress, her skirt underneath the coat is just tiny.
she has a wonderful look of confidence about her. both outfits look great.
I might then be one of the few who do not like this pictures... I find the girl...I do not know... too "average"... I do not feel as if she wears a miniskirt with a jacket, but as if she has forgotten the skirt... I can't find a better way to explain it...!!
And I would have liked the second outfit if she hadn't worn the hoosiery? I don't know...I do not like these outfits!! I have to say... one of the rare outfits at the sartorialist that i haven't enjoyed, anyway...
I'm curious about the origin of the scarf in the first of these two photos - are you able to tell us about it? It's lovely, as is the entire photo and your beautiful subject. Thank you.
Beautiful!
Love the colors and the style!
i love those jeans...any idea where i can get some?
Beautiful!Love the style!
Love it!

Love it!
http://followhanne.blogspot.com/
funny that (except from the jeans) she's wearing exactly the same clothes on both pictures, and still they look so different...
The scarf looks like the traditional ones worn by the Newaris in Katmandu valley.
Oh, she (in the 1st pic) is perfect!
I just love the Addidas Chile 62s in the background. I'm still devasted that mine fell to pieces from overwear and that they are no longer made in my size...
Oh and both girls look stunningly stylish, although I can't help thinking that full length jeans would suit the second better than the cropped pair she's sporting.
If I could wear a scarf like that.. if I could show my legs like that.. (both like in the first photo)
Wow... I would never wear pants if I had legs like that!
The first pic makes me wonder where everyone is hurrying off to! It's poetry in motion :)
Love the first pic. Great shot of her walking. Thanks for sharing.

I love her! I would go to France and marry her in an instant.
The beauty of scarves........
windowshop78.blogspot.com
I love shoes...
If those are tights, then they are one of the few pairs of tights that I have EVER seen that look GOOD! I want the legs in the first photo, preferably wrapped around my neck! A great photo...
THOSE SHOES ARE AMAZING...WHAAAAT are they!??!? And most importantly, where can I get them?? hehe
powerful. beautiful. incredible.
not very flatering outfit in the first picture, the girl has short and bulky legs..
I love the first picture - incredible legs and incredible shoes - simply HOT!!!!
LOVE THE SHOES,) OMG
Those shoes in the first pic are gorgeous, but I wish the skirt was a little longer.
The Heartbreak
WOW!! What legs. I'm in love.
Same girl, same tights, same shoes, same jacket, same scarf... But the first one has the right lighting... on the legs...
"I love her style but Scott please, can we NOT have smoking depicted in your photos? Like it or not, people look to you as an arbiter of style. Depicting smoking as chic and sexy is dangerous and irresponsible. Smoking is deadly. Images like this must have the tobacco companies licking their lips."
Sigh...how many times do we have to go through this? Scott is a street fashion photographer. These are not photo shoots, they are "slices of life"... as it is. He doesn't say, "here hold this, it'll look good" and hand them a cigarette. He shoots people as they are, and the fact is, people smoke, so once in a while there will be pictures of people smoking. What I find more disturbing if your need to "censor reality" by making it seem as if nobody smokes. You'd rather he put a big "censored" bar over the cigarette? ridiculous.
love love love
True, those legs are perfection, but still, it looks like she went without bottoms on a dare. And, no matter how many women do it, I think sandals with hose look strange.
tHE FIRST PICTURE IS PURE FANTASY
lovely winter legs
That picture is very beautiful.
I love your style.
Lovely shots - but I want to raise the issue of wearing such a short skirt in Paris (and I wonder - is it the same elsewhere?) outside the cosseted high fashion world. It. is. IMPOSSIBLE. The hassle you get on the street in Paris in a mini-skirt is ridiculous and totally alienating. Much safer to just wear jeans or below-the-knee skirts. Misogyny still rules, and I'm afraid you're fair game in a mini-skirt.
