dont like the outfit and love the photo.

Anonymous notsurebut said ... (6:50 PM) :

Has good atmosphere seems almost like a mistake in the tonal quality of the shot bland face clothes are neither here nor there i'm really not convinced by this as a portrait or a fashion image.

Blogger AIMEELOVESYOU said ... (6:52 PM) :

Can anyone confirm who the scarf is by?
Is it McQueen?
Thanks. Xx..

Blogger SabinePsynopsis said ... (6:52 PM) :

I just read about this blog in Vogue and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!

Blogger Hugo Hase said ... (7:27 PM) :

I don't often say that about something, cause I believe you can wear everything, when it's done right... but skulls are so over, we need a new word for over!

Blogger snoopyfan said ... (7:32 PM) :

Blogger fashionfauxpas said ... (7:49 PM) :

RIP Mr. McQueen! I own this scarf, but it doesn't look quite as chic on me...

Blogger l´habitué said ... (8:04 PM) :

Love the way you captured her expression.

Anonymous cjagers said ... (8:14 PM) :

Love the skulls on a sweet looking girl, good contrast. I also like how her short haircut merges with the hat.

Blogger tim said ... (8:14 PM) :

Love the color temperature. Glad you didn't warm it up in post. Sometimes cool works.

Blogger maggie_hogan said ... (9:02 PM) :

is it her hair or a hat? either way the look is great, i love a little androgyny.

Anonymous $5 Basics said ... (10:00 PM) :

i own a similar scarf (although not mcqueen) but have never worn it nearly as well as this woman. i love when skulls are worn so sweetly.

Blogger Celia said ... (10:22 PM) :

Oh my god, this feels like a still from a French new wave film.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:31 PM) :

Alexander McQueen by Franz Kafka!!

Blogger Nadine2point0 said ... (10:31 PM) :

I hope the porcelain doll look in make-up that I have been seeing remains for a while. I think it's so fresh and sweet.
By the way, I enjoy the collaborative videos that you post of the shows.

Blogger Vinda Sonata said ... (10:54 PM) :

dramatic picture! love the bluish tone so much!

fashion atelier.

Blogger Dhu said ... (10:58 PM) :

There's something about the slight upturn of the corner of her lips that intigues me.
I'm not crazy about the skull print, but she pulls off the scarf in a nice way that most people can't.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:17 PM) :

I love the framing of the photo

Blogger Sophiemei said ... (11:34 PM) :

love this photo!! gorgeous, really nice wear in fur hat!!

Blogger Liz S said ... (12:11 AM) :

Skulls etc will always remain in a niche if not in the mainstream--a bit like plaid and denim. This lady wears it so well.

Blogger Kate Rose said ... (12:26 AM) :

the hair is really cool-reminds me of a hedgehog, in a good way

I always love them foofy bows!

Blogger Prutha said ... (1:12 AM) :

Anonymous clara said ... (1:42 AM) :

Love this blue shot

Blogger Johanna Urban said ... (3:48 AM) :

,..and she is lovley!!!

Anonymous proletarian Great Gatsby said ... (4:25 AM) :

The scarf transforms completely her image. The hat of Doctor Zhivago and Ives Saint Laurent's homage to Russia is lovely, classical and modern at the same time.
Beautiful eyes:dark like her purposes?

Blogger dolceedamara said ... (4:35 AM) :

I adore the scarf!

Anonymous Catherine said ... (4:37 AM) :

Blogger bane said ... (8:23 AM) :

and this naive red pepita shirt with skulls! I agree with her choice absolutely :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:23 AM) :

the way she tied her scarf is really different and eye catching - her whole look works well,

Blogger FASHION SNAG said ... (10:25 AM) :

Very cute girl! I love the gingham shirt with the silk skull scarf as a tie. Very cute look as well.

Blogger Dominica said ... (10:47 AM) :

She's 'garçonne' but still girly enough !! Love the way she has tied her scarf ! A great tip in using it another way ...

Anonymous Julia B said ... (12:18 PM) :

love this picture, she is beutiful but it feels like she doesn't know it. you really captured that!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:34 PM) :

howcome the style of this pic differs so much from the usual style? why the blue color layer?
the woman is very pretty.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:17 PM) :

Ha! What a great surprise! I've seen this girl several times and talked to her once a few years ago.
She definitely sticks out. Strangely enough, it made me glad to see her on here. And she's very lovely, indeed.

Ha! What a great surprise! I've seen this girl several times and talked to her once a few years ago. She changed a lot, yet in quite a positive way.

She definitely sticks out. Strangely enough, it made me glad to see her on here. And she's very lovely, indeed. I dig her style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:49 PM) :

I love the color scheme with the blue filter, gives the picture a very wintery vibe. The grey, blue, red combo is beautiful and the rebel touch of the skulls is amazing. Her eyes are so beautiful and give the picture a perfect focal point. Great job!

Blogger La Feem said ... (3:51 PM) :

Love the scarf.

Blogger CW said ... (4:27 PM) :

This combination is interesting! Conservative suit and blouse, unconventional (to say the least) kerchief.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:13 PM) :

i LOVE this image. one of your best.
however, i really dislike the fur hat she's wearing...

Anonymous Catherine like Deneuve said ... (5:43 PM) :

Such a prim little librarian look, except for the smack-you-between-the-eyes skulls on her bow, which is tied in such a 1980s John T. Molloy dress for success way. Heavy, heavy irony. I bet she has a real firecracker personality.

Anonymous GUGA said ... (8:25 PM) :

Natalie porman would be amazing in this look.... its impecably done....

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (12:44 PM) :

I wonder what went through your mind when you decided to post this picture, Scott? This is lovely!!

Great work. Kind of blue-ish. Did you fooled around with the white balance? This one looks a lil bit too blue-ish but I love it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:52 PM) : her personal style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:10 AM) :

I thought the hat was her hair at first! A blonde halo...

Something about the eyes and the small face reminds me of Edie Sedgwick. It's lovely!

Anonymous Beatrice-Ngan TB Huynh said ... (12:40 AM) :

Anne Catherine, when I just glance at the picture she looks very graceful and tradition, but when I truly observe at it, she becomes more unique and she has this captivating feel to her, with her apparel, and the hat.

Blogger Taylor said ... (10:55 PM) :

I thought this was a vintage photo until I observed the skulls on her scarf. I love everything but her fur hat..

Blogger Nitus said ... (12:39 PM) :

Greats looks!!!

Blogger The Neon Dinosaur said ... (10:21 PM) :

I love the skulls on her scarf and how short her eyebrows are
