Love the guy's chinos with big boots. Woman on left looks ok but i really don't like longer skirt/dress under a coat.. maybe i fussy but i always think its a definite no..

Blogger Kathleen said ... (11:14 AM) :

Okay, it has to be the Camels Hair Coats and Jackets. I love to see each person's interpretation of "the look", especially the men versus the women.

I digress, what's up with the obviously expensive and gorgeous stilettos I'm seeing all over, but mostly on the mainland, that have at least a one half to full sized gap in the back of the shoe because the owner was misfit? Even If the foot has settled into the front of the shoe because the owner is standing, one would not see a large gap in the back of the shoe like the one in this picture, if the shoe had been properly fitted. This makes the owner look like they are wearing their mom's shoes and playing dress-up.

Love that turtleneck sweater!

Anonymous LaurieAnn said ... (11:22 AM) :

I must say that I've been wearing this trend this Winter and am really enjoying the camel/grey combo. It's an accessible look that we mere fashion mortals can pull off as well as the congnosenti.

Anonymous Caroline said ... (11:34 AM) :

Camel coats and navy blue accent pieces! Et champagne!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:50 PM) :

Gorgeous coat and heels!

Anonymous katyE said ... (1:03 PM) :

I would guess the picture is all about the classy lady, but I find myself liking the skinny kaki´s and shoes of the guy up front and the lady´s boots with the wooden heel! Love your group pictures!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:25 PM) :

Camel people, camel.

Anonymous xris said ... (1:40 PM) :

It's a meme. How much of this is planned, how much just influence through association, how much just vibrations? I highly doubt that people are looking at the Pantone color chart for this year's fashion.

I dug out my old camel Pendleton this last December and put new buttons on it. Little did I know that I would be part of the in-crowd. Synchronicity.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:39 AM) :

Narrow pants on men that bunch on the knees or ankles. Is that the theme?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:30 AM) :

i llluuuuvvvvv her F.M. pumps!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:19 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:33 PM) :

This guy has all the girls in his military-inspired getup! He must be saying something intriguing or tantalizing to keep them all engaged and enraptured. The young lady to his right is biting her lip, for God's sake! Someone is standing at his back even, as though they are not quite included, a man with pointy shoes and something white in his hand?

Blogger teiko reindorf said ... (8:12 PM) :

where can i get that green turtleneck?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:40 PM) :

the coat is great, as is the skirt etc but this women is absolutely gorgeous and it seems to be overlooked. particularly the coordination of her outfit juxtaposed with the slightly disheveled look of her hair and the lengthy sleeves.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:52 AM) :

Yes but... isn't that sort of "heavy"? The length of the skirt and coat... Or is it just the coat that is too big? And I must say I have the impression that the shoes (absolutely beautiful though) are too big for her. And the hair... I'm sorry... But the colors are beautifully assembled. And it's a nice picture, as always.

Blogger mayim said ... (4:24 PM) :

i enjoy the look. love the coat, i have always dug that caramel/camel wool approach in jackets, coats, etc. it's super pulled together.

however, to echo kathleen's post about the shoes, a bit of tailoring in the sleeves would do much to eliminate the 'playing dress up in mother's clothing' effect, no?

Hey, Scott, Are you being coy or just slacking on us?! Where the frontal image of George? To come? We need to see what the front of the sweater looks like. Thanks!

Blogger Viviana said ... (1:24 PM) :

Nice post, I remember when I was still a model in a Wholesale fashion company, it's fun because I used to wear a lot of fashionable clothes. I love the heels, the skirt. Love it!

Anonymous nico said ... (2:50 PM) :

i love these heels!Whilst browsing the internet I came across a London based company who create handmade shoes.

As well as an impressive collection they also provide a gift package where you are able to design your own made to measure shoes.

They seem to share our passion for beautiful shoes, check out the website

www.coskcollections.com

Their styles are classic like these, i might see if i can get them to recreate a similar pair!

Anonymous 7rish said ... (10:43 PM) :
