Great video by Garance!
This new area of motion that she is exploring works out really well for her. So talented.

Also, I posted the picture I took of you and Garance during fashion week at my blog. :)

Are you turning into a movie-maker too? Sounds great! I can't wait to see 'Garance Studios present a major motion picture: The Garance Doré diary'. Gwyneth Paltrow should play your role, IMVHO, fkoors.

In an odd but good way.

Quite an interesting point of view...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:54 PM) :

I love this blog, but today's Amaerican Apparel ad makes viewing it a horrible experience for me. It is so vulgar. I understand the commercial imperative, and I appreciate what tight control you have kept over the advertising on this site, but American Apparel doesn't seem to be a good match for you.

Blogger Lemon for breakfast said ... (5:54 PM) :

she does great videos... :)

A friend of mine from the Ukraine, said she thought the Prada Fall 2010 line looked like Soviet Retro Chic! I have to agree, pretty sad.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:56 PM) :

Blogger beths said ... (8:17 PM) :

What fun clothes--if I were wearing them, I couldn't help but smile. Loved the two "Statler & Waldorf" guys in the front row eye-balling the models from head to toe.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:08 PM) :

Does anyone know what song they use?

Like I just mentioned to Garance via email, I reviewed this show on my blog and hadn't been inspired ... until her video showed it in a different light! Lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:41 PM) :

The look of knitted skirts, tops, and the wool tights are very relaxed yet so chic with the small detail of the belts around the waist line. The ruffles on the bust adds just the right femininity sprinkle. The cat eye shaped secretary glasses make the clothing look so smart... I really enjoy seeing the different themes and concepts the designers come up with.. Versace was more of the constructed motor-cycle leather jackets... adding a certain chic masculinity to the clothes...
gotta love fashion week... sigh <3

Anonymous  said ... (10:57 AM) :

Excellent work! It trasmits the atmosphere of the whole evening. Great music! One of my very favourite designer's show!Probably, the best collection of the Milan fashion week...I wish I could have been there!...give us more of that! Thanks!

Anonymous MARIA said ... (11:21 AM) :

Prada does curves! Like Sarah Mower said on Style.com "Let's see who follows the leader".

Lovely editing in the video, and lovely that you are putting Garance's vids up on your blog too.

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:06 PM) :

Is the background music by Cibo Matto http://www.wbr.com/cibomatto/?

I am intrigued by the neutral Prada look, and I adore the red plaidish look at the beginning of the video.
