Comments on "On the Street.....Young Parisian, Paris"
did you notice about their bracelet in the right wrist??
THE JACKET....
want those trousers!
So wonderful shoes....
<3
Is that a bracelet? Stylish youth.
http://maybrady.blogspot.com/
Love the shoes. Not sure about those trousers and sweater.
sweet sweet muted colors.
Magnificent.
Yes, the bracelet over the sweater is one of the best details of this outfit!
Love how he rolled the sleeves of the jacket!
Let's grow up later
this colour combination is lovely :) and the textures with the leather jacket...
amazing!
<3
I wanna go to Pariiiiis!
I'm guessing he just got off his cycle. Nice tones but the fit of the outfit looks awkward.
www.openzedoor.blogspot.com
I like! His clothing is recently retro and this makes it harder to pull off. I think he has (pulled it off) through his choice of proportion.
I don't know why but I get a little Lanvin vibe from trousers. I don't like the jacket though..
COLOURS!!!!!!!!!
I like the subdued colours - I think the trousers are great, unusual but great. They might benefit from being slightly shorter though? Wouldn't this give the outfit a cleaner line?
http://davidikus.blogspot.com
very subtle accesorising with the bangle, and what a good colour palette. I love the boots. if you get a minute, check out my blog at www.dazedyoungmess.blogspot.com :)
I love him.
Can I have his number? ;)
hummm... i don't get it. how can you be in Paris and in NYC at the same time?
les chaussures du garçon sont très jolies en plus il a assorti ses chaussettes avec son pull lol
great look
Edem
love him :D i mean cool outfit :D
Love everything about this, that jacket is amazing!
The pants...misguided youth...
I love the unlikely combination of colours! His sweater & trousers are in such soft almost feminine shades while the jacket in contrast toughens up the whole look. The three tones surprisingly play off each other so well...Perfect sartorial harmony!
i dont know which part of this outfit i love more the jacket, the jumper, the trousers, his hair this look is just amazing and it feels soo simple and not forced i think thats what i like most that it is soo relaxed and easy. i love it!
Roman @ http://fashionwhatsnext.blogspot.com
Edgy and chic, wonderful.
Wow, i like the color combinations! And also the sweater and the pants!
xx,

great
the jacket is really cool.i like the jacket and the trouser combonation, i dont know about the shoes though.
I wanna go to NY,,, newyoooork!!! I LOVE YOU !!!!!!
the jacket is cool...
i`m sorry but i most say the this guy is very cool, relax style.
http://thepinktiyelephant.blogspot.com
the clothes look unkempt, deliberately of course (nice twist with the jodhpurs as found in india), but the hair is carefully coiffed, deliberately again of course!!!
UGH! Not my favorite - esp the pants.
Any one of the items has got to go; I wish that there was one item darker than the rest of the items - something that goes with his hair.
i love that kind of trousers: they look awful on him though
nice
that jacket is amazing!
http://diyainherstilettos.blogspot.com/
Very poetic. And magnetic.
what a BEATIFUL man! nice outfit, too, although the cut of the pants needs a bit of tailoring work ;) i'd say 'yes' to the rest, though. he seems like a romantic artist. i wonder if my guess is right..
fashion atelier.

J'adore le linge :)
So great, love the fabrics and colours.
He should come grace the streets of Glasgow.
He is looking so stylish! I love the combinations of colors, textures, and accessories. I see a bit of Spring thrown in here, the transition is beginning He is a lovely young man, a model? Should be. Fantastic photography, what a background.
Hm. Name one investment piece in this outfit. The bracelet, maybe. I would rather splurge on a piece that will last me until it falls apart. Jorge from WPB
I think the Sartorialist should do an experiment and randomly post photos of folks who are wearing terrible, ill-fitting outfits and see if the typically gushing commenters pick up on the difference.
Oh wait. He's already on to this idea.
love that leather jacket!
xoxo,

lekisskiss.blogspot.com <-- Texas gal bloggin fashion from nYC!
taken on rue vielle du temple near rue debelleyme, no?
Great colours and silhouette - makes me think of The English Patient - those scenes in the desert, for some reason.
fantastic
especially the trousers
(trousers is English for pants)
I love the combination of colors and textures. I'm a big fan of mixing neutrals. I also love his boots; I've been looking for a similar pair for myself. And I love that his leather jacket is double breasted. But the fit of those trousers is just killing me.
it's all about the jacket
It makes me happy that you find interesting men's fashion. Not a lot of people document it online. :)
the whole outfit is sooooo special!!
FANTASTIC! Love everything but especially the shoes.
The jacket is cool, great hair, cute kid.
Top half - YAY.
Bottom half - HELL NAY.
That soft, butter-y jacket ... and those pants! What a style!
Bracelet over the sweater-great touch. Sock over the pant leg-mighty want to re-think that after you get off the bike. Overall, nice.
The pants look silly. He ruined it!
I really like the color palette of this outfit. Very soft and pleasant. Anyone who can stray from black even slightly gets major points from me.
What's up with those pants?
Wow, I swear I can hear a Howard Jones or Spandau Ballet tune right now. Handsome guy, love the boots, and jacket...not keen on the trousers.
Love the jacket & shoes...not too fond of the pants.
Happy Friday Scott!
Great color palette.
totally hot!!! love the bracelette and the jacket!!
http://donotshoeme.blogspot.com/
The hair is so important to all looks. I am always having to relearn this.
i like the soft muted colors. and he really wears those trousers well - not a style most people could wear. all confidence, no uncertainty.
worldrunway.blogspot.com
Great color combo.
He is just handsome:D
Love his jacket, craving for one like that. he looks fantastic...and again great photo...
I'm kind in love with how muted the colors are, which kind of extend over into the nonchalance of the looser fit. Wonderful.
oh love it, so chill!

What splendidly odd trousers!
Like it from the waist UP!
Way off the mark, in my opinion. The execution tends more towards sloppy than anything else.
He looks like Seinfeld circa 94. NAGL.
He pulls it off being young and handsome, but yeah, I can't cosign on this.
He looks like River Phoenix.
I don't see the "style" in this look. I hate the pants and the top part of the outfit looks sloppy. I don't know - I just can't find anything fashionable about this. Sorry. Usually, you pick real winners (esp. men), but this just doesn't move me.
what a gorgeous boy! i want to move to paris and run my fingers through his beautiful hair :)
I literally swooned. I love everything.
Love his relaxed easygoing style...love the mix of cool and warm colors.
www.vivaswag.com
wait, what are those things he appears to be wearing on his feet underneath his shoes?
Love the worn air of the leather jacket and how the brown of the shoes meets the jacket.
He's very cute but looks like he's doing the walk of shame.
the last few entries have me convinced ~ the 90's are back
yay! those colors are so good together. i'd love to see this look on a woman.
Although some viewers might be drawn to his unassuming costume, I find the unshapeliness of the clothing really unflattering to him. (I wonder who it might flatter? The bangle over the sweater cuff and his hair both evoke his beauty as does the backdrop of the Paris street.
That leather jacket is great and those trousers are wawaweewa!
The best part is that it looks like he's not even trying.
This is absolutely awful in every way imaginable. That fact that nothing fits well is only the beginning. I hate to be the only dissenter for the day, but I can't get on board with this one. I feel it completely misses the mark for decent fashion.
i could use a parisian little man!
the shoes are just amazing
i love his boots, not sure about his pants
f&*# the outfit, did you notice how gorgeous he is????? his ace is just...perfect masculine
like the Henrik Vibskov pants!
amazing as always
http://vodkacaviardreams.blogspot.com/
First of all, he's absolutely gorgeous! His hair looks great, the expression on his face is priceless and that bracelet must have a whole story of its own. Furthermore, I love how he rolled his leather jacket's sleeves up. Now, what I don't like are the trousers: too much "sloppiness", in my opinion. They're OK as such but not here. Probably a pair of tight (not too tight!) jeans, or something like that, would have rounded it up quite nicely.
DEFINITELY include it in the next book ;)
Just don't like the proportions. I think the pants are not good with the jacket. I know the slouchy stuff is way back in, but proportion, ya know?
PERFECTION
He looks so fresh and young. Love those trousers!
love, love love... Everything is just a bit off, yet it all comes together perfectly.
I love it!

beautiful jacket

chris rouman and others who don't like this look: sure it misses the mark for decent fashion, but it doesn't miss the mark for decent STYLE. this is HIS style and nobody else's. if everyone had the same aesthetic standard, then why bother even having a website like the sartorialist to explore our diverse takes on style? would he look better in a fitted dark suit? or straight legged jeans with a fitted leather jacket? sure. but it wouldn't be him.
He is the 4th "The Dreamers" character!
Beautiful face. Like the color palette of his clothing though I'm not fond of the cut.
Timeless. Love!
im in love.
great color combo! im starting to take a lot of inspiration from menswear. the mix of textures is so great.
xx
fall in love with caroline blomst...
http://youareashootingstar.blogspot.com/
So young and so stylish, love it
Pantaloons look silly. Jersey hangs. Jacket and ankle boots are cool. Is that a Citroen in the background?
Definitely his own style, not my fave but great elements. Shoes and jacket love, he's a modern day 80's preppie ala Blane "Andrew McCarthy" in Pretty in Pink.
I was one of the ones who didn't prefer this look, however, I do agree with the last Anonymous comment, that it is HIS style and nobody ele's...
In my humble opinion, though, when someone lays claim to having "their own style," there is some sort of consistency, or pattern, to everything they wear, over myriads of items and outfits. For example, an outfit might look random even when it really isn't, and to me, this is the difference between having style, or not..
The point being is that this outfit looks so random that it looked like he climbed out of bed and threw it together, however, I 'think' that I have seen him on this blog before, non? Chances are - this gentleman *does* have hs own style, and there was some forethought in putting it together.
...so, kudos! (even though I don't like the pants).
In short, he looks very much like a Grungey Dashing Dandy!
Love the leather jacket - looks like it could be passed down as an heirloom - buttersoft leather.
Pure Style & Sex
:)
Great style! Looks a bit like from another time
I'd love his outfit if he had different pants on.... besides his awful pants, this boy looks great, even though a bit too feminine.
I love the combination between the jacket and the pullover+bracelet...and I love that his shoes match his jacket and the socks match his blouse :)
andrea
He us gorgeous. I would like to make love to him.
to each his own
beautiful style, congratulation photos!!!! lovit
what an obscenely well-dressed, attractive person
I love his color palette, but those pleated trousers are just horrible. This is one trend I cannot get behind.
dashing.
He looks remarkably like river phoenix...
Love the colour pallete...colourful but very subdued and quiet
Love his style! I want to feature him on my blog, adorable!
xogeddit2getha
www.geddit2getha.wordpress.com
he does indeed look like River Phoenix. I think he looks great, there's definately some authenticity to his style which is scarce amongst the younger crowd
think the trousers look silly, and sloppy.
Love his shoes, and he's definatly thin, because he looks incredible with that outfit
the quintessence of that oh-so-French insouciance...
or to say "so very louche"!
beautiful colours, LOVE the trousers
http://youknowhow-victoria.blogspot.com/
I am the only one here (again...) who loves his whole outfit.
Nothing is a no. Everything is a yes.
What brand are the shoes?
on the street and in paris.
great colors. grey and brown, read tones!
me enamoré!!
Absolutely gorgeous!
Great trouser! I got a similar one from h&m trend department :-)
Sometimes I wish I were a boy. Now is such a time.
The jacket? The trousers? The glimpse of white at the neckline? The silver wrist cuff? The striped socks?
Face it, a girl can't wear this outfit and pull it off as well.
Perfect colour palette!

He looks great !!!
So beautiful, and so French!
He is a friend of mine :)
omg...trousers in socks? i dont know..
