Comments on "On the Street.....Young New Yorker, NYC"
Wow! Love the look!
The colors and textures in this shot are wonderful! I love the lines in the corduroy and the slightly ragged edges of her shirt/zip jacket.
!!! Excellent...
She could be from Houston, Texas or Houston Street, Manhattan. That's a good thing. Americana translates well.
Eh. I'm not too thrilled. Nice shot though.
ahh the eternal beauty of vintage hats!..with a cowboy swist in this case! nice. always classic, never boring. Ciao from Milano!
I love the cowgirl hat paired with the corduroy jacket. She also has a sense of pride that beams through her eyes and smile. I dig it!
check out my site http://jamaalcrowder.blogspot.com
Very sweet picture. I love her smile!
Wow, looks more like ayoung texan to me, but then again...I haven't been to NY before so...:P
kiss
Love the urban cowgirl look - she's got it just right, not too urban, not too cowgirl! Lovely rosy cheeks - she looks super healthy!
New Yorker? She looks Australian.

Hey Scott, great job with Garance last night in Tribeca!
You are both passionate and genuine and it was clear just listening to you talk about your work.
And so SWEET to see you guys interact. There is something so natural and easy about the 2 of you together. Comme une evidence…
Hope we’ll have another opportunity to cross paths again.

The bearded frenchy who asked the last (great) question… ;)
I love a pretty and feminine girl in a comfy masculine outfit... The attitude sells it! Cool hat :)
She's beautiful! Are you sure she's from New York? Seems as though she just stepped off a bus like John Savage from 'Hair'...ready for a NY adventure.
What a cutie. I love her hat!
Style has so many facets... Love it!
But is she wearing spurs????
Great western look. She is very pretty. xo

I think her look is nice but isn't she cold? It's freezing in new york
I'm reminded of Ralph Lauren and his ad series from the 80's which I treasure. Your subject is lovely and fresh, very confident and put together. A little dressed down for my taste, but this is me. I LOVE her hat and braid. She is a beautiful young woman. Great photograph Scott.
Did something chomp a bite out of her hat?
Simple but pretty..

Nice, but looks more like Young Montana.
am i recognizing a pattern of evidence here? mildly, warm, romantic Southwestern...Lauren circa when-ish?

She has to be Aussie!
I don't like it at all.
reminds me macadam cowboy
yakee doodle...lol... sometimes only i get my jokes...lol

pretty refreshing. maybe i'm mistaken but she seems far from the ny fashion week crowd, yet she has a style.
the style may inhabit in a kind smile

Oh my God! Does she have any idea how gorgeous she is? True American style and beauty!
The best thing about this is the fresh personality that comes through. Really not impressed with any part of her attire. But love her, love the photo.
i'm in love
definitely different from a lot of the outfits you tend to shoot. i must admit, i don't like it..
but at least she's comfortable and has a nice smile! what inspired you to take a photo of someone who looks, dare i say it, normal, rather than a fashionista type? just curious :)
this looks like you're in australia again. :)
I love this look. The girl looks Australian! Its neat.
I'm from Houston Texas and this is how we dress on the weekends. I'm afraid the hat and jeans only fly at work on Casual Fridays. I have never been to NY, but is on my bucket list. Love yall, Karon Wisdom
wow! I went to high school with her. she is from argentina.
She's from Argentina.
Crocodile Dundette!
i really really dont like it at all.
love, love, love the jacket and hat. casually classy.

This is great! - She is beautiful and interesting in a fresh and new kind of way - inspiring, love it!
Meh.
Wow, she looks vaguely Argentinian.
Very Australian look. Most Australians don't own heavy winter clothes because the warm Aussie winter doesn't warrant it. The layering of the clothes, her hair, her complexion, her hat. I don't know if she is Australian, but she'd certainly fit in here.
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and I've known someone to dress like this on daily basis. I'm afraid "ya'll" have a warped view of how Texas dress. I believe we're a little more sophisticated than this. But nonetheless, the girl in the photo looks amazing.
Marina Munoz, fashion stylist, lives in NYC.
I'm sorry, but wearing a hat with a hole in it screams of vintage desperation to me. Like the kind of things that you see in vintage shops because they're cool, but they're in terrible condition, and they should just stay as part of the display.
very cool look!
She looks like a typical rural Australian girl. Sweet
Love it! Thanks for celebrating the style of women who don't feel the need to turn themselves into frail little porcelain dolls for fashion. :)
Interesting how happy and at easy she looks whereas there are other fashionistas wearing designer clothes who look pissed.
youthful and lively - yes.
new york - no.
she looks too innocent.
She looks like she's from somewhere else, from o movie or some small place in Texas.
I love her smile, and she looks a bit special and really confident. But I do not like the outfit. Ok, somewhere in the countryside, but, hmm, something weird about the clothes.
Ok with out the smile. Spectacular with.
She looks like a real green horn! Very beautiful, without trying. I like the color combo and the richness of her jacket. Natural beauty and style!
...not crazy about the elastic bottom of the jacket.
Is she Australian? ;)
Love her smile!
She is Marina Muñoz was stilyst of magazines in Mexico like Harpers Bazaar and codigo 192, she`s Argentinian girl!
Marina Munoz is my daughter and she is once again living and working in New York. She always has had unique, self-confident style, which changes according to her mood or the occassion. She is an original and an extremely talented and beautiful girl, both inside and out...thus the smile! Bravo, Marina!
Worlds collide in this photo and pleasantly enough the oddness in it's contrasts, are what ultimatly make her feel and look so familiar. She is one of so many of us...all in one.
