Wow! Love the look!

Blogger Pretty Little World said ... (8:24 AM) :

The colors and textures in this shot are wonderful! I love the lines in the corduroy and the slightly ragged edges of her shirt/zip jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:33 AM) :

!!! Excellent...

Blogger David said ... (8:34 AM) :

She could be from Houston, Texas or Houston Street, Manhattan. That's a good thing. Americana translates well.

Anonymous Charlie Rygg said ... (8:37 AM) :

Eh. I'm not too thrilled. Nice shot though.

Anonymous Giovanella said ... (8:39 AM) :

I love the cowgirl hat paired with the corduroy jacket. She also has a sense of pride that beams through her eyes and smile. I dig it!

Love the urban cowgirl look - she's got it just right, not too urban, not too cowgirl! Lovely rosy cheeks - she looks super healthy!

Hey Scott, great job with Garance last night in Tribeca!
You are both passionate and genuine and it was clear just listening to you talk about your work.
And so SWEET to see you guys interact. There is something so natural and easy about the 2 of you together. Comme une evidence…

Hope we’ll have another opportunity to cross paths again.

I love a pretty and feminine girl in a comfy masculine outfit... The attitude sells it! Cool hat :)

Blogger Nadine2point0 said ... (9:26 AM) :

She's beautiful! Are you sure she's from New York? Seems as though she just stepped off a bus like John Savage from 'Hair'...ready for a NY adventure.
What a cutie. I love her hat!

I think her look is nice but isn't she cold? It's freezing in new york

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:37 AM) :

I'm reminded of Ralph Lauren and his ad series from the 80's which I treasure. Your subject is lovely and fresh, very confident and put together. A little dressed down for my taste, but this is me. I LOVE her hat and braid. She is a beautiful young woman. Great photograph Scott.

Blogger beths said ... (10:37 AM) :

Did something chomp a bite out of her hat?

Blogger rhai♥laborte said ... (10:44 AM) :

Oh my God! Does she have any idea how gorgeous she is? True American style and beauty!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:11 PM) :

The best thing about this is the fresh personality that comes through. Really not impressed with any part of her attire. But love her, love the photo.

Blogger Soren Lorensen said ... (12:16 PM) :

i'm in love

Anonymous mimi said ... (12:17 PM) :

definitely different from a lot of the outfits you tend to shoot. i must admit, i don't like it..

but at least she's comfortable and has a nice smile! what inspired you to take a photo of someone who looks, dare i say it, normal, rather than a fashionista type? just curious :)

Anonymous Edgar C said ... (12:21 PM) :

this looks like you're in australia again. :)

Blogger HEY! said ... (12:48 PM) :

I love this look. The girl looks Australian! Its neat.

Blogger karon.wisdom said ... (1:10 PM) :

I'm from Houston Texas and this is how we dress on the weekends. I'm afraid the hat and jeans only fly at work on Casual Fridays. I have never been to NY, but is on my bucket list. Love yall, Karon Wisdom

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:25 PM) :

Anonymous Haley said ... (4:11 PM) :

Meh.

Anonymous E. Flockhardt said ... (4:33 PM) :

Wow, she looks vaguely Argentinian.

Anonymous Roses said ... (5:29 PM) :

Very Australian look. Most Australians don't own heavy winter clothes because the warm Aussie winter doesn't warrant it. The layering of the clothes, her hair, her complexion, her hat. I don't know if she is Australian, but she'd certainly fit in here.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:11 PM) :

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and I've known someone to dress like this on daily basis. I'm afraid "ya'll" have a warped view of how Texas dress. I believe we're a little more sophisticated than this. But nonetheless, the girl in the photo looks amazing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:28 PM) :

Marina Munoz, fashion stylist, lives in NYC.

Blogger Emily, Ruby Slipper Journeys said ... (8:18 PM) :

I'm sorry, but wearing a hat with a hole in it screams of vintage desperation to me. Like the kind of things that you see in vintage shops because they're cool, but they're in terrible condition, and they should just stay as part of the display.

Anonymous Lisa said ... (10:48 PM) :

very cool look!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:22 AM) :

She looks like a typical rural Australian girl. Sweet

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:25 AM) :

Love it! Thanks for celebrating the style of women who don't feel the need to turn themselves into frail little porcelain dolls for fashion. :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:07 AM) :

Interesting how happy and at easy she looks whereas there are other fashionistas wearing designer clothes who look pissed.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:26 AM) :

youthful and lively - yes.
new york - no.
she looks too innocent.

Anonymous lucia said ... (8:33 AM) :

She looks like she's from somewhere else, from o movie or some small place in Texas.
I love her smile, and she looks a bit special and really confident. But I do not like the outfit. Ok, somewhere in the countryside, but, hmm, something weird about the clothes.

Blogger Bob Spears said ... (12:24 PM) :

Ok with out the smile. Spectacular with.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:28 PM) :

She looks like a real green horn! Very beautiful, without trying. I like the color combo and the richness of her jacket. Natural beauty and style!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:55 PM) :

...not crazy about the elastic bottom of the jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:38 AM) :

Is she Australian? ;)
Love her smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:35 PM) :

She is Marina Muñoz was stilyst of magazines in Mexico like Harpers Bazaar and codigo 192, she`s Argentinian girl!

Blogger Monique said ... (11:28 AM) :

Marina Munoz is my daughter and she is once again living and working in New York. She always has had unique, self-confident style, which changes according to her mood or the occassion. She is an original and an extremely talented and beautiful girl, both inside and out...thus the smile! Bravo, Marina!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:48 PM) :

Worlds collide in this photo and pleasantly enough the oddness in it's contrasts, are what ultimatly make her feel and look so familiar. She is one of so many of us...all in one.
