Comments on "On the Street.....Upper East Side, Manhattan"
I love everything about this. Her top, her coat, her boots, ahhhhh
The combination of colors in this outfit is perfection - those sequins peeking out under the mustard jacket are to die for! Love the black scarf tossed over everything also!
This is such a lovely shot!!
Jerry Hall before Mick wore on her!
perfect lips, love the cross body bag, amazing boots, cabs going by, perfect NYC
Everything about this is effortlessly chic.. Love it!!
Her look is so effortlessly chic.. I love it!!
I love the safran coat !
And the photography is perfect with the line of yellow cars on the background.
makes me wonder if this is a really fabulously glamorous early morning "walk of shame"...
WOW! What a stunning look! I love love love it!! So refreshing!

Serena Van der Woodsen in the flesh.
serena van der woodsen in the middle of the UES
My favourite part is the bag- does anyone know the designer?
I love the shiny top juxtaposed to the very vibrant yellow coat & the dark jeans. The boots are a great touch and the bag & the scarf goes flawlessly together!
those boots are killer, this girl knows how to put a outfit together, stunning!
http://sticoftheweek.blogspot.com
Someone please please please PLEASE identify those boots!
gorgeous textures! love the shirt mixed with the coat and scarf... unexpected and interesting....
www.materiadesigns.com
whole thing is just rock and rolla :) love it!!!
It's a quite interesting mix of textures but specially colors and prints! I like seeing the sequins with mustard and then to top it all up the leopard burgundy satchel! How cool?
xx,
www.dimogonda.blogspot.com
It's actually not a leopard print.. my mistake! What is it?
Serena Vanderwooten!
oh she looks really cool =)
It's been a long time since I've liked a picture in here this much. The boots and the copper coloured top are amazing.
I want live there!
The coat matches the ... taxis behind her! Nice composition!
waw
I love this whole outfit!

She looks so put-together and chic!
Her outfit screams expensive!
thats just so GossipGirl-ish
oh wow, reminds me how much I miss Gosssip Girl!
I love it! Great picture.
Regards from Portugal.
she is looking so fab!
Every detail looks great but why the dour expression?
The coat is fantastic - what a wonderful color for spring!
Perfection. That´s all I have to say.
Love it. Looks comfortable and real. The combo of the top with the coat and boots, loving it.
WHERE is that jacket from?!
I want her bag... and her style...
xxx...
She looks absolutly perfect and put together. Love everything about the look. Specially the contrast of the lower layer and her coat.
A perfect mix between casual and lux.
I get the feeling that she's one of those classy, fierce ladies that you'd love to be friends with, but are too afraid.
wow love this. ♥
Love her LOOK!
It's simply FANTASTIK
The mix of the scarf,the jacket,the paillettes..PERFECT..
I agree with Mlle G. ..So GossipGirl-ish
But I love MORE the across body bag!!
http://alessiastyle.blogspot.com
Reminds me of Carolyn Bessette.
this is J.I.M.P. material! i'm speechless!
The coat is Celine, the bag is Mulberry and the boots are Proenza Schouler... And none of these pieces should have been worn together.
i love the jacket and scarf but thats really it.
She has some intense attitude.
Lovely bag- I believe it is the Mulberry Alexa.
The outfit is very chic and well put together. But she looks realy too proud of herself and self-absorbed. That's only my opinion. If only she smiled... I love her coat though.
It's a MULBERRY Alexa bag!!!
She is stunning...I love her bag, however I'd wear the whole ensemble!
Soooo Chic!
I could imagine she's Serena from Gossip Girl!
Her outfit is absolutely SUBLiiime! Love it!
Almost sure: the bag is the oversized version of the Mulberry "Alexa" bag. Lovely outfit.
Fab, I love it. The sparkle of the sequins is just right with the combo of colors. It lends such an awesome texture quality. *favorite* :P
She's so NY...
Nice look! These yellow cabs everywhere make me dream of a place where cabs would be yellow, phonebooths and letter box would be London red and buses would be green (a wee bit more saturated than in Paris.
Love, love, love this!
This girl is perfection. Distills class.
awe...some
amazing blazer,
http://cull-candy.blogspot.com/
I adore her coat.
Hello, today I've visited your blog for the first time and I totally felt in love with your photos! For example I like this one very very much! I'm sorry for the bad english, I'm italian and not so good. :) Congratulation again!
Chiara.
The shade!! English mustard nope definitely dijon mustard!
www.wespywithmylittlei.blogspot.com
I think the bag is the Mulberry Alexa satchel in leopard.
Wow, iLove that outfit - the paillettes, her coolness, that bag, the jacket! Do you always ask before taking a picture?
Looks very good
top notch!
serena van der woodsen!!!

The BAG!!! Who is this beautiful leather friend? Can anyone identify? Pretty please?
She looks like Serena Van Der Woodsen. Quite cool.
Love

Walking perfection!
Attitude, colors, sequins. It works so well!
wow amazing! good combination!
So many wonderful things about this photo. The glitter is gorgeous. The background is so representative of our city and the colors of the subject and the cabs blend so well. Nice composition. Love.
Looks like I'm definitely not the first person to think that this is what the real Serena van der Woodsen would look like. From the books, not the show, claro.
The epitome of chic... everything works... but I'd rather see her smile.
the color of her jacket is great!
i don't think there is one piece of clothing on this woman that i do not love. excuse me while i go scour the internet looking for a more economically sound was to rock this ensemble (as she's walking around on the upper east side, it's hard for me to think this look cost her less than $1000 haha).
This girl looks so chic. The sequins and the soft coat is an amazing combination. She definitely reminds me of a character from Gossip Girl but a little more mature and cool. The raybans add mystery and class to the outfit.
Love the photo as well, good job on this one!
Perfection...apart from the boots
oh my god i love that coat
That coat doesn't suit her but the taxis in the background make a good shot.
www.openzedoor.blogspot.com
The coat and boots are beautiful, but I'm sorry: something about this photo makes me depressed about humanity. She looks smug and entitled, and it bothers me that so many people praise that.
I absolutely love everything about this outfit BUT THE SCARF ;(
I love it, the bag is the best part clearly.

Thinking and walking in fashion freedom......
this outfit is perfection
http://factorystyle.blogspot.com/
amazing look, love blazer!
http://modadecolores.blogspot.com/
one of my faves ever.
Perfect outfit! Adore the sparkle and subtle leopard print. Rejected a jacket this colour only yesterday, now seriously regretting it......ivestiti.blogspot.com
I've never been charmed by the mulberry "alexa" bag before... but with that blazer it's gorgeous. This girl is ravishing!
ah, it looks so perfectly Upper-East-Side expensive (and I'm jealous)
Super chic. Love it.
This is Joanna! Fashion editor for Bazaar. She's been spotted quite a bit lately wearing fabulous ensembles just like this one!
WHERE did she get this blazer/jacket?! can anyone tell me?!
Perfect outfit! Hello! Love the sparkle and subtle leopard print. Rejected a jacket this colour just yesterday, seriously regretting this now......ivestiti.blogspot.com
Her caramel coat is a killer. Love her bag too
subtle leopard with sequins and mustard/camel colored coat. it's soooooo warming!
worldrunway.blogspot.com
The coat looks more mustard yellow to me, an underrated, awesome color I wish people would wear more! Especially in that Rodarte for Target lingerie-inspired dress...
http://watermelonfeet.blogspot.com
love the top!
Excellence in motion~!

Oh how I want a Mulberry Alexa!!! Love this whole look:)!!
http://thestylestrutter.blogspot.com
That's just great style - she did everything right! Love it!
Everything about this photo is GORGEOUS!!! Like most people are mentioning today, all of the pieces balance each other and the colour of her coat is really great.
I like her bag and her boots, but the best is her security. She´s great!
http://timetimetravelers.blogspot.com/
Love the whole look! That blazer! Sequins during the day, the scarf & sunnies...brilliant!
xx
I like this shot a lot. Yellow on yellow. Great job!
every inch of that is chic. well done.
bespok.

If Mad Men were set in contemporary NY and Don moved the family to the city, this is what January Jones would look like. Expensive, perfect, yet dissatisfied.
This photo is different because she appears to be unhappy. Whether she is or isn't isn't our business. It stands out in contrast to so many others who appear (but may not truly be) happy. Interesting that one picture brings up so many associations.
i absolutely love this outfit. what an amazing composition. love love love.

Looks like a sunny day!
Looks like a sunny day!
love! from top to bottom...
Oh my God. I have got to get out of the suburbs.
I don't like the boots. They're void of charm and finesse.
Pietro
this is one of those looks i see and think, 'yep, i'm in NYC now' - something distinctly American about it..
Love everything! I would wear this outfit in a heartbeat. The boots are to die for. xo
www.FashionSnag.com
the real Serena van der Woodsen
i love her outfit so much, all of items i love(blazer, top,shoes,sunglass...) so chic she is!!
WOW WOW WOW Give me all of that! This look is awesome. And reading this was hilarious:

Thanks, Anonymous, for identifying this SSSEXY outfit!
Coat is thrift from 1986, no? She does look rather smug and knows she's got it together though...
woow. everything about this is so chic.
Love it!! The coat's beautiful and she looks so put together!
wow, this outfit is VERY inspiring.... I shall go play with my wool coats now.
http://diyainherstilettos.blogspot.com/
Love the contrast of all the colors!
www.fashiondegaine.com
Stylish separates that mix together perfectly, especially some sparkle under a low-break-point blazer. Excellent.
http://maybrady.blogspot.com/

She looks FIERCE!

Apart from the excellent get-up, her whole 'bearing' and the way she carried herself gave this image the "oomph" factor. It's emanating from the picture.
not loving the outfit :-( ...cool pic though
http://www.donotshoeme.blogspot.com/
Really love the contrast between her jacket and the yellow taxi in the background. Her outfit is great, too!
flashfashfash.blogspot.com
Very put together--if she were 50-something. This outfit seems too rich for a WASPy blonde and slight woman in her 30s or even 40s. It's just one flashy element too many. When you have good looks and body, you don't need to load it on. Unless she's Italian or Brazilian. Cute boots, great bag.
Great look! The coat with powerful color and shape plus the dark scarf. Amazing bag of Alexa in Oak Shiny Leopard for Mulberry! Is it the Oversized Alexa? Please tell me!
I LOVE THIS <3
Gorgeous. All of it. And yes that is the Alexa bag, and it does look like the oversized version. <33
I love how she's wearing this bright top with the rest of casual clothes. Brilliant!
The tonality here works so effortlessly. The icing, for me, are the black lapels.
Wow, this outfit is the epitome of chic.
I love how anti-UES she is. Bring on the smug!
look at those boots!
WAHOUUUUU I LIKE THAT !
Bisous, bisous.Alizée

Wow, she definitely dressed on the right side of her closet that morning! The outfit looks fabulous on her!! The color combination is brilliant, and what's even cooler is the way she carried herself with that look on her face -- despite the freezing cold weather in new york!! Or maybe the shot was captured at THE perfect moment when not even a slight indication of her being freezing cold was present :) Congratulations, Sartorialist!

Do they always wear like that on the Upper East Side? I love it!
www.wani-djdanger.blogspot.com
this looks like the girl whose blog is called 'cupcakes and cashmere,' lol. :) Gorgeous outfit.
Me encanta el estilo que tienen.
Un saludo
She does look unhappy and sad. Wonder what her lifestory contains.
La-tee-dah, fancy. She's enviously great looking.
Sparkle in the daytime, yes, yes, yes.
Wooow, this is Serena !
xoxo :-)
OOOHH! She looks great love how she styled herself and brought all these pieces together.
In love! Especially the sequines peeping out (swoon)
In love! Especially the sequines peeping out (swoon)
Stylish and expensive but verging on the boring, sorry
I love how she manages to look incredibly put-together while remaining so effortless. I think that her hair, tucked under her scarf, is the perfect way to round out this outfit. Divine.
That jacket! That colour!
The Heartbreak
Absolutely love this - great pieces expertly put together. Beautiful hair, too.
Think her best accessory would've been a smile, though.
Love the Outfit!
really great choice of colours!
http://sofrannifinesse.blogspot.com/
xx
This is the first shot in a while that seems genuine, like you really just crossed paths with her on the street. Now, I understand that this may not be the case, but it feels that way! And it's refreshing!
So the '80's ARE back. Leggings and a big blazer...Favorite interpretation I've seen by far.
THAT'S AN ELEGANT WAY OF WEARING SEQUINS IN THE DAY TIME!
KISS
Such a great outfit, I love the colours!

OMG!! this look is so perfect!! I love it...<3
I she'd smile she'd be perfect.
The yellow taxis all lined up perfectly in the background are the BEST PART of this photo. What a cool frame for the subject. I love how her coat matches the cabs in color as well.
Wow she is so cool!! I love everything she is wearing! So Serena
LOVE!
YOWZA, this is PERFECT. I love everything about this look, if I saw her on the street I'd gawk at her outfit the whole time, so chic! Especially that coat and those boots, love love love lovvvveeee!

love love love this. almost as if she was expecting to be photographed-everything is positioned perfectly.
Love her, absolute perfection from head to toe. She is really dressed up and I'm loving it. She looks like one of your regulars, but I'm not sure. Love her coat and bag, fantastic!
xoxo gossip girl
;D
Hello, Upper East Side!!! Gossip girl here.. xoxo
flawless sophistication and style. powerful shot.
Wow! This is perfect...
Serena van der Woodsen?
This outfit has great potential, but the cliched rich-girl hair and makeup, along with the excessive "polish" of the ensemble as a whole (real boots have scuff marks!), strip away any cool it might possess.
Who ever thought classic could be so Revolutionary..? Her hair and legs of course add fantastic proportion to her accessories. I love the angles, the colors- and I can almost touch the textures of the various fabrics she has combined. That capturing is the work of the Photographer..;) Lovely.
LOVE it! The gold sequins and the mustard go together beautifully.... that bag is also amazing.
She looks so slick and confident. Love NY, cant wait to visit. Tess.

This is a great picture showing how to be a perfect woman:)
This shot is perfect. The attitude is better. And the coat is the best.
Oooohh I love this! I'm a big fan of yellows and mustards and this jacket is fabulous! Love the sequin top underneath for daytime and the boots and bag! Perfect day to evening outfit!
http://sequinsandbangles.blogspot.com
well, you are completely beautiful.
