OH HOW I LOVE THOSE SHOES!
Can anyone ID them?
Loving the simplicity! No Frills and extravagance! a breath of fresh air!
www.wespywithmylittlei.blogspot.com
so beautiful!!
http://sofrannifinesse.blogspot.com/
Love the richness of the jacket
Very chic woman, but those shoes are horrible.
Whenever my British friends come to Paris they are on the lookout for the Picasso/Gaultier sailor stripes. I always advise them to go to Saint-James (a French manufacturer, despite the name). I seldom go to Paris but I noticed recently you actually see more of those 'iconic-French' stripes in London than in Paris! Apparently, the Petit-Bateau influence!
A trend you spotted very well!

Nice stripes and nice shoes... Like it!
love her shoes
This is a bit alexa, but if she was older and didnt get her chocha out as much. Really simple and elegant, I like it!
VISIT ME AT LITTLE RAZZI
Nice scarf.
It's all very "Alexa Chung"
Finding this skirt length always rather difficult to wear (can easily look too 'auntie')- unless you are tall and slim like she is. The combination of blue and grey plus stripes gives it an elegant, but relaxed feeling.

I really love London & the people!
Kiss!
the shoes make the outfit. I find the sshawl somehow a bit fussy. It does however beautifully frame her exquisite face.
love the shoes!
yeah, right. looks like chung.
I feel as though the proportions are a little off - the length of jacket plus length of shirt plus higher ankle booties sort of make it seem as though she has disproportionately small legs. I really love the colors though!
i really want to steal her shoes! i love her overall look, too, she's so feminine, and french chic!

I am a little bit heartbroken that you came to London and didn't see me and put me in your wonderful blog!!
I'm only half joking!
..One day.
I love the combination of the knee length skirt and ankle boots here, and the semi-translucence of the skirt, it really works.
-Cerise
I love the blue jacket. It's the sort of thing a Corsican farm labourer might wear. I do not mean that in a bad way!

I want her boots!!
Great pic and love the look!

Nice pic of a women in dailydress. And the boots are fantastic - I bought them for myself in sep. in London - they are from Prada F/W 09.
So eccentric.
The stripes look perfect with that scarf.
I would say she is an artist.
Great picture.

shoes should be Prada or Car shoe, winter collection
Gourgeous look! I like the shoes.
http://modadecolores.blogspot.com/
Shoes looks very Marc Jacobs. Not sure though. Either way, I love the color pallet.
love her navy coat!! and the lovely scarf, gorgeous!
the shoes are prada. i have the same in black.
Love the scarf.
this is konca aykan, the recently launched vogue turkey's fashion editor. a very cute turkish voguette.
i always love a sailor stripe shirt, but i think i love those shoes even more!!
xo
love this look, particularly the length of the skirt!
They sell shoes that look exactly the same at Zara.
It seems everybody is wearing those stripes this season (including me), but this elegant young lady takes them to a whole different level with the printed scarf and the unusually bright color of her pea coat.
The top layers, especially the scarf swimming about her face, are really stunning--the way her gaze is so horizontal and the shirt's stripes peek out of her pocket. And the proportion works, but for me the weights and textures of the lower half spoil it. The clingy skirt and heavy opaque tights make the shoes look like cement blocks to me; their potential grace looks clunky instead.
Love! I have shoes almost identical from Zara.
greats boots!

I just love the depth of the blue in her jacket...very nice look.
Nice outfit and style. Congrat'
Love the mix here. Great use of tonal blues, incredible shoes, and the scarf is to die for. This striped top isn't worked into "her look" as well as the young lady from NYC used hers in a shot from last Tuesday, but all the same I like the mix. The coat is a gorgeous shade of blue, very beautiful.
oh my word! it's a young lauren bacall.
I love everything about this outfit, the scarf, the jacket, the shoes are my favorites.
Boot is prada, look is spot on.
Love the Breton stripes!
And the motion of this photo. Lovely work.
I love the shoes!! I've been looking for a similar ones, but I can't find them!
This look is actually something of a British staple these days among younger women (compare it with some other recent shots you've put up).
For those in search of Picasso jersey sweaters (pace Davidikus said) check out J. Press the menswear store in NYC....they have a nice line on offer.
love the brick color in the background... not my fav outfit though :(

i love the shoes and the scarf! have a great weekend!
Glad to see skirts this length popping up -- the lightness of the fabric makes the length work. Very pretty.
I would say the outfit is perfect except that she has great legs and should wear a shorter skrt! Love the scarf and shoes. Wonderful!

Gotta love that scarf. I always have the intention of wearing a scarf, but never know how to go about it. I must say this is an inspiration.
She looks better than Chung. Proportion and palette play at its best.
Does anyone know the style name of these prada boots?? I'm dying to find them!
can anyone share the style name of the prada booties she's wearing?? Dying to find them...
Love it! New/Old London!
I have a couple of posts on my blog right now that you might like, Scott:)
Great look! I love how the scarf ties together the color of the coat and the gray in the shoes. She walks with determination and you captured that. xo
Pucci Studded Heels at www.FashionSnag.com
I love what she's done with the scarf. Whenever I wear one I usually wear it the same way all the time...I'll have to try it this way.
Lovin' the shoes!
Happy Friday.
~*~If you want to take a stroll down the Southern Ca. coast I posted some pics.
(Lisa Petrarca Blog).
love everything except the shoes... i feel they upstage the rest of the palette/shape. maybe the same shoes with a darker sole...
Are those rubber soles? So excellent.
Absolutely wonderful. Maravillosaaaa!!!!
Swoonworthy shoes, those. I like the lighter sole -- that is what makes them *almost* off, which is what makes it perfect.
I love this look, but I don't actually think she's wearing a skirt - they look like bloomer trousers to me....
I've been looking for that jacket. Does anyone know that label? (You can see the logo.) Let me know, please!: flowscapes at gmail
You can get the French sailor shirts from Hamilton Marine, among others. They run large. You might have to alter.
I want those shoes in a terrible way.
do you know that almost every teenager in Poland looks like this lady?!
:)
I absolutley love, love this outfit. I want it.
I agree with Anonymous 11:58 AM. I like the shoes as an independent entity, but think they mar the whole outfit. I can't get beyond the off-whiteness of the crepe soles looking "dirty" in comparison to the white striped sailor shirt. Grey suede is still a great choice if the soles were dark (which wouldn't work with the concept of these booties, which are an interpretation of the "desert boot") -- then the look would be awesome, allowing the white of the sailor shirt to pop as the lightest shade.
incidentally, just picked up a breton stripe top for $15 at uniqlo. quality material - as they often do - and accessible in most major cities.

Nice shoes!
Best regards from Argentine
Elisa
She looks great. I love the colors of her coat and scarf. Are her tights black? I'm always too wimpy to wear black and navy though I know it's not a faux pas....
Love the match-not-matchiness of this whole look. You and Garance have single-handedly (dual handedly?) forced me to update my wardrobe with stripes...and khaki. :)
I covet the shoes as well. I'd be very interested in seeing them with a darker sole, but the crepe sole gives them a stronger early
70's vibe.
She reminds me of art school. My best friend at RISD dressed just like this.
The shoes are divine.
http://theallureofashion.tumblr.com
The blue on blue is beautiful.
http://inspiredshannon.blogspot.com
The gray suede booties are amazing, and the scarf is a nice complement to the outfit!
http://ironycloud.blogspot.com
Love the details on the scarf!
Great color of the jacket!!

The shoes are PRADA SPORT from FW09
(last season, but still very on-trend)
Aren't they pants? Love this.
Love the blue jacket.
The shoes - I know everyone has already said it a hundred times over, but they're amazing.
Those shoes are Godly.
Fabulous! Last time I was in Florence in summer this was taught to me by a local. I love it!
I think the shoes are from ZARA
