Fantastic coat. I love this whole look. Just such a pity that he grew out of his trousers.

Beautiful. The clothes are nice too.
He looks great!
I love the shoes!

Love the jacket, interesting that there is no break in the trousers.
So elegant, with great quirky details. This look would work for women too, I think.
maybe a writer....the shoes tell an interesting story..great coat..can't let go of the length of those pants...
What an amazing coat!!! The collar is just the icing on the cake. So elegant, so simple, yet so very, very chic!
I am not sure about the length of the pants... makes his shoes even bigger:-)
But still cute. Surely has a great sence of humor.
Made me think of Julio Cortazar's character :)
This geezer has noted the peacoat trend for quite awhile now. And this one marches to a different drummer. Rata-tat-tat!! And how many times have i said I like hats? Well, I have to bring it up again because hats can be da bomb when a gent adds his own savior faire. Cock it, crunch it, you know what I mean? The hem of the pants give the entire get up a different proportion. Bohemian chic is my cup of tea anyway.
Boss coat action going on! The marled dark grey works well with the brown (I thik the grey has a bluish cast). GREEEEAAAT shoes and hat!!! Very competent look. MAkes you wonder what stylish torso-wear lurks underneath his coat (could it be a SUIT?). Great aspect on this shot, Sart (this subject pops off the frame).
he looks sleepy...
I love how he has unbuttoned the last button on his coat! It is cool and makes a rather boring outfit more interesting and special. And the brown colour combination is awesome:)
This has been an interesting week so far. As for me Scott, you have really pushed your followers to see beauty in it's totality rather than just a striking face or the hottest outfit, or the best hair etc... This gentleman is a bit off kilter. His pants are too short, which should put most people off the mark right away. You have pushed us to really look at this man. So his pants are too short! Look at his entire outfit, the condition of his shoes (perfectly kept), his proud stance. I like him, he's great.
Dig it 100%.
Not bad...
Oh where to start! The short pants to show off the beautiful shoes, the unbuttoned bottom button on the coat, the way the collar of the coat frames the collar of the shirt, the dapper hat, the glasses! And the expression on this handsome face. No, you can't show too many well dressed men for this follower, Sart, you simply can't!
Fabulous! Totally love the hat and coat guys series of photographs! Very inspiring! Please keep it up!
Wow he looks great. A hat does always something faboulous for a look...
love the combo of browns and grey. i have a coat that looks exactly like that... i didn't pull it out of my attic this winter though. this makes me want to crawl up there and find it. xx
Oh.. the symmetry
Great coat.
'Outer Edge' sounds so intriguing!
Did you ask this gentleman to button up completely, Mr. Schuman? Not sure about that part. Makes his appearance a bit stern...in contrast to the, er, 'jaunty' length of his trousers.
I absolutely love all the hats that I keep seeing!
I'm feeling the coat! Not so much the pants!
Great photo Sart!

Only thing missing is a rolled up Le Monde newspaper...
Very natty...with a bit of an Elvis Costello flair as well!

Dapper!!!!
Very Spike Lee, no?
How fun !
So 40 ... I like it.
Muy de los 40, me gusta.
keep it up !!!

WOW!!!!! Absolutely the perfect character in Paris, the right hat and the right coat.
Kisses
Very classy, but the hat adds a hint of fun :-)
Love the coat, his style, his shoes. Awwh heck I love his whole ensemble. Way to go Scott.

I have always enjoyed the metro trip to the Clignancourt Puces because you can see what ordinary Parisians wear and how they live. And let's be honest, if most of us lived in Paris, it would be one of these neighborhoods. I love the shoes and the slightly short pants- I take it Europeans, because they walk more, wear their pants a bit shorter so they dont get wet and/or dirty from the streets? Jorge from WPB
I love how the pants end just above the shoes and the coat is wonderful. Great shot of him. xo

I am loving the whole charcoal grey with chocolate brown look lately. This is great!
Wonderful ensemble.
great coat!
Love the colours and I like the hat! But the trousers are just too short. In Portugal is very unusual to wear them like that. "Parece que vai cair das calças abaixo". :)
Beijo!
head-to-toe perfection

i've been so inspired by all these mens looks you've been posting lately...
thanks

Love the coat and the slight imperfection of the last button not being done up.
Lovely.

I don't know why but I've always had a hard time with the Grey/Brown color scheme.
All together looks gorgeous. I like it!

Interesting to see the short trousers have finally become the fashion in Paris. For a long time, I thought that they would never become fashionable outside the UK/US - unless this man really is an expat or a visitor?
http://davidikus.blogspot.com
Double breasted and flood pants. A duo guaranteed to make one look short.
quirky-cool!
a man in a good coat always gets my attention.
I like his take on proportions and other meticulous things such as leaving the coat undone at the last button...
http://theantiquatedmindset.blogspot.com
Emilie: the rule for a gentleman is never to button the last button (certainly neither on a jacket, nor on a vest) - coats are often the exception, just not in this case!
http://davidikus.blogspot.com
the buttons just up to the very top of the coat look really wonderful...
simple. smart. solid.
love the shoes and the hat...
His supercilious stare dares you to criticize the length of his pants. I love it.
i love the actitude, and the shoes!
http://anotherwomanbyrose.blogspot.com/
love the shoes...i wonder what brand...
He looks toasty warm on a chilly day. Admirable polish on his brown shoes. My sole regret is some men's refusal to accept that too-short trousers just look sad and skimpy, not cutting edge.
Very Charming!!
I miss women pictures though!!
The coast, very very elegant
¡¡the shoes!! ohhh
I picture he says things like, "you crazy americans...with your realite television and your bloggING!...I love it!" the only thing he's missing is a pipe, no?
Oui.

Very attractive, intelligent face, this guy was born for wearing hats.
beautiful coat, not too sure about the pants though. i haven't seen anyoe hem a pair of straight legs that short before, typically you see the super tapered pants get that treatment.
intenorandvogue.wordpress.com
He takes good care of his shoes!
short pants are excused because he didn't ROLL them up to make them too short, they just are. And we would miss the awesome shoes otherwise. Like it!
hats, hats, hats <3
oh how i wish more men in the States dressed like this. love a dapper man!
www.vivaswag.com
a touch rude boy, a touch grandpa, seasoned with good taste and a great face.

Beautiful cordovan shoes and overcoat. However, I did not know that Paris was flooded.
First.. Love those shoes! Really looks nice when a man wears great shoes. The hat is sexy as well. Except for the pants, he has style.
www.fabuloussoles.com
just wonderful colors and a nice attitude. I wish more men would dress like this.
modern but evoking different periods in time, most notably the 1940's i think. come up to my apartment to view my sketches...you're cute.
He looks like he's related to Spike Lee :)! Luv the coat, but I'd like to know what's under it! LOL!!! No, truly!
This is awesome. There is something a little bit unusual about the proportions here (perhaps it is the long coat with the cropped pants) -- but somehow, these details are what make the look work.
Great look. He's got that Elvis Costello vibe. Love the hat, coat, shoes. Everything works but I'm not digging the flood pants.
Love the trouser length!

Radness.
Check out my blog johanfrancoise.blogspot.com for design inspiration
great style
I love everything about this look, especially the cuff and length of the trousers. Their length highlights the beauty and contrasting color of the shoes. The coat is wonderful. There is an Elvis Costello vibe, most definitely.
love this!!
ironic, quirk, intellectual, slight parisian snobism and definitely has the good proportion.
I love that outfit and hat! Reminds me my boyfriend's style, a mix of Paul Smith, U-NI-TY, Y3...
Good job!
Thats Carlo used to be Menswear Buyer at Prada UK very stylish dude for sure!
THOSE TROUSERS LOOK A BIT TOO SHORT TO ME BUT MAYBE HE JUST WANTS TO SHOW OFF HIS GORGEOUS SHOES!
He's so quirky. I'm imagining this to have been taken around the vicinity of Pere Lachaise, near Place Gambetta, although there's no concrete reason to think this. He has something of Stanley Tucci about him. I love that his coat is buttoned all the way up. A serious dude, with his too-short corduroy pants and beautiful shoes. They look like Lobbs. And the hat to complete the look. Great photo.
nice coat!
I found great how his big soles go along with his hat brim.
Very nice, this charming man...great work, photograph and subject that is xo
Proper shoes, storm derbys, well looked after, they look so cool with the hat. The dude wears them boldly. Have you any idea how hard it is to get the Hat/Glasses combo just right? This guy rocks. Mr Tweed
This I like. I'm a huge fan of well-made classicly-styled clothes that have just a twist of quirkiness. Not overdone here, very nice.
I love the short pants!
