This is what I've been waiting for. When the snow resumes, she stashes the hat safely in her bag, closes the jacket, ties the hood over her head, tucks pantcuffs into the boots and swathes the whole package with the wonderful plaid.

Blogger P. said ... (7:57 AM) :

Want that bag!

Blogger Diane said ... (8:22 AM) :

I would have never thought of the combination between that hat and that jacket, but it looks great on this lady :)

Thank You Mr. Schuman!
that's exactly what I love in your blog and in NYC women :-)...it's not about BIG BRANDS it's not about big money, it's not about to proove something... it's all about who I am and how can I express my personality.

NYC women ROCKS!!!

Blogger The Concrete Commentator said ... (8:29 AM) :

Quietly there, and you found her. Seeing the moment.

Blogger The Shitty Astrologer said ... (9:17 AM) :

That's a great capture - a lot of people associate winter clothing with looking dowdy but when you put together the right elements and accessories it's not so. Very stylish...

Blogger davidikus said ... (9:18 AM) :

Great composition, great picture!

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (9:41 AM) :

I dont see it. Too many nothings going on. I like the way the photograph is lit and the buildings in the background, though. Jorge from WPB

the composition of this shot and the outfit makes for a fantastic photograph. even though this type jacket is very popular right now, i have not been able to find one with such a nice fur trim. anyone know who makes this one or one like it?

This is beautiful example of how you can be chic and creative throughout winter time. Brilliant!

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:07 AM) :

Rugged yet feminine, she's ready for anything. I love the boots, the fatigue pants, and the purse is to die for. I'm not so sure about the jacket and tartan shawl? Not sure about the hat either, I think she could have selected a much more flattering shape But overall I like the look.

I am still reeling from your European shots of this week. All the bright shocks of color, the obvious sensuality of their outfits, and the brilliant use of accessories. Like I have said before, we are smooth dressers here in North America, but we are lacking something.

Blogger Coco and Zaahb said ... (11:10 AM) :

The way she threw all this together is perfect, i love eht

Saw her yesterday on the street, and yes, she made my head turn too. Red really stood out yesterday, when almost everyone was wearing some shade of black.

Blogger the Citizen Rosebud said ... (11:14 AM) :

This gorgeous broad has a great picture of her on Citizen Couture. The style is delicious, not just the tartan (love it) but the sheer loving life smile it come with. Is this you?

I absolutely love red...great winter look!

Blogger CW said ... (12:57 PM) :

It looks good, but wearing the shawl outside of what appears to be an open coat is not practical from a weather perspective. Everything else works.

Blogger iliketweet said ... (1:03 PM) :

This is hotttttt! Love her shoes, they're slightly weird but lovely.

Nice bag :)
