italians have real classic, effortless style. Love the bag.
I love capes-- I can't wait until I see more on the streets! With the detailing on the fedora and the accent of red in the gloves, He's classic!
Fantastic. And...are those red gloves i see?

Well put together! Love the monogrammed bag. Some things just don't go out of style!
Susan
As seen here there is never an excuse to not look your best!
So cool. I'm just back from Rome. The Italians respect for accessories is admirable!
I´m sure some people born stylish, cause the natural style is very difficult to achieve!
Amazing picture!

Customised doctor bag? Amazing! And the red gloves peeking out... and the cape! The hat! A very creative and stylish dresser.
What an intriguing looking man - I would love to see him motion.
I love the matching warm tones of his gloves and the trimming on his hat.
Channeling Quentin Crisp!

your face is interesting
His coat and bag are RIDICULOUS!!!! What a dope a$$ old man. Especially while walking the streets of Milan. So glam. that town is....hell all of Italy. I remember just being in the airport in Rome and being utterly intrigued and in awe by all of the beauty walking around in that place...and that was JUST the airport.
this is perfection, i love everything including the orange gloves. If my father lived in europe, this is exactly how he would dress for the colder weather, perhaps not the bag though.
Hot stuff, he's a handsome young man with a cool bag ;)

I love how fashion lasts through the ages. Its timeless. Weather your 21 or 71, every age can be a fashion inspiration.

I am dying for this guy to be MY doctor. He is truly something! The glove peaking from the coat and gripping that INCREDIBLE bag. And mostly that coat!!! oh man.
Beautiful photo, Scott.
The bag, the coat, the hat, the gloves. Fantastic!
Fantastic cape coat. I wish I lived in Europe.
He is the most smashing looking man I have ever seen. Love the color and crispness of the photo!
This is a beautiful picture of a beautiful man. He is truly elegant. I am a huge fan of your blog! Your art is amazing.

It's that added detail that makes the shot. wonderful.
Great symmetry throughout the shot.
what a chic gentleman! i really like his classic bag, too!
fashion atelier.
He looks like he just stepped out of a Hayao Miazaki animation film. Very warm yet mysterious.
Love

True men carry purses, as shown in this picture. He has such a timeless look.
WOW. Even though I am half his age & a woman, I would wear that outfit especially that amazing monogrammed bag! Fantastic!

Doesn't everyone look great standing on wet European cobblestones?!
Great bag! WHat style!

He and Sherlock Holmes would have a lot to talk about

Italians, like other Europeans are not humble about their academic achievements. Holders of doctorate degrees (Ph.Ds) regularly use the title "Dottore". This old gent, therefore, might not be an M.D. at all. (Some Italian physicians use "Dr.", rather than "Dott.", in order to clarify the situation, but there is no general rule.)
Lovely Gentleman!

It's all about that coat! A little Transylvania in Milan!
It's his hat that reaches out to me and those penetrating eyes!!
www.jkstylehunter.blogspot.com
Man, I miss Milan hey... Seeing these photos make me wonder, why didn't we met so atleast I could be in one of your photos...lol
Cool street fashion photos hey! Keep it up!
the white bag definitely sets him apart... he looks so comfortable!
oh, so amazing an old man!
So classy and chic!

¡que señor tan elegante¡
What a stylie Doc! Love the hat, gloves and coat combo. Great photo.
The bag is My Style Bags, a new Italian brand. The shops are in Italy (Milan, Rome, Bologna, Verona and Rimini), but you can buy online at www.mystylebags.it
lovely to see the tradition reinstated of having your own initials on your bags, instead of giving free advertising to the bag's producers [sorry LV, C etc.!]
super!

Swagger.
I have never seen an old man with a cape coat until now!He seems so stylish!I also loove his gloves and his hat!
There are some photos that really urge you to find out more and this is one of those photos. Everything about this man is intriguing. Wonderful.
OMG Carrick Great Coat!!! I love his coat and also his bag!! The hat and gloves make me speechless, it's all perfect! He is so stylish and chic, age is not the matter seriously :D
I love your blog, great shot!
And yes, I have just bought your book ;)
I want to have an espresso with him!!!
Oh so chic! The bag's definitely from the Milanese boutique MY STYLE BAGS (corso venezia)! www.mystylebags.it
That monogrammed bag is something to be jealous of. And the orange gloves are wonderful, as is Sherlock Holmes-esque coat.
What is in the water in Italy that produces such chic? I'm an American expat who lives in Paris, and I LOVE France, but really, no one touches the Italians. They are in a class by themselves.
Great picture, good looking man!
Love the bowler bag! xo

This guy is chic, I'm in Sicily and I have not come across "one of these"...so haute this guy, so HAUTE!!
if quentin crisp were a spy!
love his look
That looks like Via Santa Marta...
Wow. what a cool dude! (that bag is bonkers.)
www.vivaswag.com
Does anyone know where I can get a similar bag in the US (even without the initials)?
One word: Fabulous!
As I wrote that the red bag dominated a woman in an earlier photo, so this bag dominates this gent. However, given his profession, that is understandable. If the woman would have been a physician, that would have been a great physician's bag.
Magnifique!
Everything about this shot is divine...
Great find, Scott.
Amazing bag and as usual beautiful shot.
http://watermelonfeet.blogspot.com
JouJou, agreed entirely. I like neither coat nor bag. I love those cobblestones though and the streetscape -stunning, in fact.
Pietro
Man oh man, I sincerely wish my doctor was that deeply fabulous.
Young, old, it doesn't matter. The Europeans have got what it takes. Look at this man! He created his look and how he presents it to the world decades ago. He never doubts his fashion choices for a moment. The thought, "What should I wear today" never enters his mind. And yes, he is sexy too! He has that "Come Hither" look.
This photo is gorgeous and this man is fantastic. His monogrammed bag adds such a great pop to his dark well fit coat.
He is so perfectly framed by the lines of the buildings around him. You have such an eye, very fun to watch. Thanks!
OH! and the PINK!!!
I am speechless with this gentleman. I just wish I'd live in a city where you actually see this people on the street!
kiss
His bag is really cool! And the gloves are suitable to his hat. This very stylish))Charming man
He looks almost shy...
Like it.
That bag is to DIE for!
Brillllliant portrait - from its composition to the fashion to the "je ne sais quoi" expression - it's really quite perfect.
Chic
Absolutely love this bag.
Its amazing
www.alexanderjamesstockwebsite.com
I hope I look as cool as him when I get to his age. Fantastic style!
Chich Cape!
i m in love with the bag!!
The orange gloves are probably a pair of Hermes gloves! Hence why he's wearing the orange colour! I say the cape is a classic Burberry as well!
naturally.
Absolutely love how he carries off the whole outfit... so stylish !

This outfit from hat to coat is a classic Austrian style, not Italian ...
Fantastic! A distinguished man rocking a Bellora My Style Bag... priceless.
