so inspirational!

Blogger beths said ... (5:13 PM) :

The sign instructed: NO ARM SWINGING, but I guess the models couldn't help it? I wonder how different the clothes would appear with no arm swinging? It seems to be such a fixture of runway shows.

Blogger Nicole said ... (5:16 PM) :

I love this version of this song

Funny but at the talk you made with your girlfriend you said that you don't support blogs that take material from other blogs. You think it's stealing.

Does this count? :p Just because she's your girlfriend (Garance Dore), does it make it okay to reuse her original material? hehe

I'm not trying to provoke. Just to make you think...

Blogger Robert said ... (10:47 PM) :

I hope that Garance shot something at the Marc Jacobs or Altuzzara shows that will be posted here as well ?

Thanks for sharing.

Blogger Jessica said ... (11:28 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:06 AM) :

wow, those shoes are hot. what is that song? does anyone know. i'm loving it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:08 AM) :

At about 00:46 it the sign says "Straight, Powerful, No Arm Swining", then it goes to all the models swinging their arms.

This was the perfect backstage type video. Love the HD and the editing. Great work.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:14 AM) :

Fantastic. What is the song name?

Anonymous Lady Byron said ... (1:28 AM) :

If only I could walk in heels that high! Surely these are made from walking to one side of the bed to the other?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:52 AM) :

the song's Heavy Cross by The Gossip

great video...

Anonymous Giovanella said ... (6:22 AM) :

The song is from group THE GOSSIP and its called HEAVY CROSS!! Ciao!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:27 AM) :

Very nice video. Especially the beginning of it backstage...

Anonymous Hellena said ... (7:14 AM) :

For all you asking the remix- I found this one on utube.

Blogger Mat Gomà said ... (8:11 AM) :

Heels were suposed to enhace women legs! Some of the poor girls turn their ankles in a weird way and some others seem to walk on top of tomatoes. Why some designers so hate women natural looks?

Blogger Katya said ... (8:27 AM) :

good video, i like it

Anonymous Chris R said ... (8:50 AM) :

Music: Gossip - Heavy Cross (Yuksek remix)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:20 AM) :

It's a mix by YUKSEK!!

Blogger Martin Blink said ... (12:17 PM) :

Great little music video--so creative and fun to watch. Plus it provided me a tiny view into the world of fashion! All the people, the models especially, look so fabulous, as well as a bit stupid, but in a good way.

I loved it!

Blogger A La Mode said ... (4:40 PM) :

Absolutely amazing!

Blogger Erica said ... (9:31 PM) :

Awesome shot!

Blogger Paige said ... (12:44 PM) :

Anonymous Marisa said ... (3:32 PM) :

These videos are SUCH a nice way to get a piece of fashionweek for those of us who have never been.
I am totally distracted by the models' arm-swinging! Clearly they were directed NOT to swing their arms..and yet there they all are, defianly waving their arms back and forth, perhaps to help balance those uncooperative shoes.

Anonymous rebecca O'Neil said ... (8:47 PM) :

I don't really like Alexander Wangs Collection this year. That isn't to say it isn't cool, it's just unlike all the pictures on your blog, his collection isn't really wearable in real life

Anonymous JeanKelly said ... (7:21 AM) :

Great job! Anyone knows what the song is?
