The green, tan, purple and plaids are delicious, and of course that smile is just the cherry on the top! AND he's just been to Muji, so he's right up my street. I LOVE him. What a happy way to start off 2010. Superb.

Then about a month later (again visiting my sister in SF) I saw him on the street in Pacific Heights neighborhood -- albeit the bag first caught my attention, then I realized why it seemed familiar. Now he is here in NYC! I love that he had to stop in at Muji.

The color palette here is delightful. Muted, but it doesn't feel dull. That purple with that olive-ochre is marvelous. The crazy scrap scarf really pulls it all together and keeps the matchy-matchy hat and coat from feeling fussy. And those gold shoes! This outfit is full of surprises. :D

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:31 PM) :

You have to be so sure of who you are to wear the color ... but then he blows us away with plaid!!!!! A N D GOLD shoes!!!! OH MY GOD!! LOVE LOVE THE leather bag !!!! Isn't he just the best person you've ever seen?!
I can't help but feel cheerful when I look at him.
His layering and matching is fantastic.

This guy was such a double take for me because at first I thought he was a stylish hobo ( I mean that in the nicest way possible=) until I saw each piece for what they were...very expensive and very chic.

Kelvin blessed man, yes SF still owns him for now, but Paris beckons. Always an inspiration for the eye, and a first class friend.
