yes your back think god nice pic check out my blog http://fashionisland268.blogspot.com/
Amazing Pic. Would it be out if the question to ask for a high-res version for wallpapers?
sweet! Look up next time.
And so glad you are back from the break
So, is this YOUR Burberry look?
I still can't resist the stuff and bought a new one for myself for Christmas. But why accept a substitute for the real deal? I've done that in the past and it never works. Save your money and get the thing you really want. Then you might only need one!
impeccable.
This is indeed cool. More cool is that you're in Paris. Style at its fullest. I have a trench just like that. Nice shot. Love the black and white.
Now we know where you've been. I wish my travel snapshots came out like that. -Aaron
How do you carry your camera? I'm after a nice looking DSLR bag. Got any tips?
You are rivaling Steve McQueen in this photo. Wow.
Location, location , location!
Always fun to wear the Spring collection in the winter
The photo is nice but the "subject matter" is not up to your usual standard! (wink)
tacords
the TRENCH! he looks so damn fine. beautiful photography too. you and Garance makes such a lovely pair. i do love you both!
Sexy! congrats to Garance!
I love this shot of you and it's nice to see a bit of you and your style on the blog too. I also want to extend my appreciation for the old photographs you recently posted. I really love the idea of including them on your blog. They really compliment your new photos well and make your blog that much more unique and interesting.
Just like Bogart! nice!
This is a beautiful photograph.
Did you have the width of the sleeves taken in? The fit is immaculate and I can never find a jacket that fits me without tailoring. Either way, wish I could be half as suave.
love the coat!!! :)
www.jetblackdye.blogspot.com
Yeah!
You are back and with such and eleant photo.
Plus, please do start featuring old photos, not by you. I would love to be able to get some insight into your sense of style through the lens of older fashion shot.
Beautiful location! and nice coat =) you wear it well haha
Interesting. Is that the light or do you have something tucked into your left epaulet?
gosh, why are you so ridiculously handsome?!
A shot with character, and volumes of taste. I agree.. Thank God you're back!, Hope your Christmas break was good!
...cheers,
Bird
Beautiful photo. Welcome back!
Yes. Slick and suave. Classic. Love the black and white imagery/vintage feel of recent shots. Perhaps not so unexpected, as I found the Strand book on the Scottish Hebrides you posted a while back to be utterly fantastic.

The coat adds allure; the cell phone intrigue. What is he saying? And to whom? Great shot, could be a still from a movie.
All in all, totally sexy.
Great candid shot! Your coat is splendid.
Not only do i love black and white photos especially in europe but this man manages to be slightly rugged and handsome while still suave and with the ability to dress well. Very sexy for sure.

looks fantastic but cold. i hope there are some wool or cashmere gloves or scarf of sorts involved. if not, at least a hot toddy
timeless.
Classic.

Lovely!
if we forget about the handset, this pic could have been from a classic movie... you are just in between James Dean and Frank Sinatra in there :D
happy new year!!!
ok, so there has been little updates, then we get a self portrait? i mean really...
Lovely trench.
this is a beautiful photo!
I'm so envy...everybody should have a photographer boy/girlfriend....
www.intothefashion.com
I think I'm in love...
Anyone know how Scott gets his hair like that? I'm trying to style mine in a similar way but don't know what product to use.
Now that's the way to see a nice trench worn. Got so lucky when I convince my dad to give me his Burberry trench over the holidays as he didn't wear it anymore and outgrew it. Purchased when we lived in London 1980 and still looks brand new.
Thanks for the great pic, Garance.
R/Joe
Very suave. Très beau, monsieur.

Beautiful !
wow! i love the photo!

The Sartorialist plus Burberry = very sexy look! Nice to see you on the blog!
Great photo. Love the black & white.
I love trench coats.
Welcome Back and love the trench!
Makes me think of an updated Inspector Clouseau!
Very "3 Days of the Condor". It's got a good mood to it. Wish they would film a new 007 movie in rich black & white to create a noir atmosphere!

welcome back .....trench is awesome.... love ya. i came across this site : www.boycouth.com its pretty cool
YUM! Who's the STUD! ; )
Sometimes black and white is the way to go. Perfect photo.
I love that this could have been taken any time in practically the last 50 years - timeless, classic style.
You are looking chic in that trench. Great casual photo and it looks great in black n white. xoxo

Looking great.
Awesome picture of o really stylish and sexy dude! Reminds me of James Dean or Steve McQueen or a young Paul Newman. A really beautiful oicture.
Great atmosphere.
<3 place vendome
Je t'aime! This is just spectacular, spectacular!
Lovely trench! And as for the place..LUCKY YOU world traveller!Welcome back!
Yes you're handsome but in this photo your trench looks very feminine to me. Maybe it's the angle.
I love your blog and am happy to see you receive as much praise and attention as you have recently. Your book is great. But I think posts like this one risk a kind of narcissism that will ultimately take away from your project. You are a stylish man, but that is not why I visit The Sartorialist.
very handsome. i hope you frame this and put it on ur mantle, scott. :)
http://www.lucasjonesart.blogspot.com
you always look like you know you are being photographed and are slightly uncomfortable. Loosen up you mouth a little an lower your shoulders.
Lovely ! It reminds me a bit of the black and white photos of your father you shared w/ us awhile back. It has that same timeless quality. As for style, you didn't fall far from that tree. You are devastating to say the least.... Bravo Garance !
ha! stylish and classic. What a nice shot! it's nice to see a pic of you or garance on here once in a while :)
enough with the pics of yourself...sheesh.
love the shoulders on this.
nice!
My favorite place to be! I'm jealous!
A picture of you, taken by your girlfirend...why?
Paris me manque tellement ! :)
i am in love with your trench.
and i have lovely childhood memories at la place vendome, so this picture is... undescriptable!
Love the slim arms and the fit of that trench! When its worn like this its the ultimate coat. Perfect to a dark suit aswell as a pair of blue jeans!
//Andreas, www.modetrumman.se/andreasweinas
This photo captures the very essence of this whole site! Amazing and evocative -- but I guess that's what happens when a talented photographer shoots a talented subject! :)
Thanks for posting!

Ah, this is how I picture myself at your age (i.e a bit older than 20). Sexy and suave, relaxed and somehow stylish on the go (although I say somehow, it's a funny thing that so much of us are often most stylish when we're in motion). Your picture is another example of your original explanation for this site, style in motion, not on a mannequin.
Have you switched to iPhone yet??
wow! long live trench
Annnd then, there are the haters...why do people make comments about you putting up a photo of yourself on your own blog? Hmmm. It's not narcissism folks, it's reality. He IS stylish.
You rocked this photo Mr. Scott. Me loveth.
Classically sexy. 'Love the retro twist of your haircut.
Dear Scott,
Nice to see a well dressed man!!!!
You look so tired!!!!
Do you stay up late in Paris???
xxoo
Melissa
Amazing shot, nice one Garance ;)And looking very good in the trench coat! Just a reminder of how I need one in my wardrobe.
this is a romantic picture. its true subject is love, its composition as well ... not a fashion picture. Conc in Berlin
The black & white gives it a retro kind of feel. Great photo!
Trench, Burberry or Aquascutum??
wow this shot is amazing who is the man in the photo? and why do you have a link to garance dore's blog?
Who is that guy?
This reminds me of the 1967 French movie Le Samourai. If only he had a chapeau.Great picture!
Scott wonderful photo and love the idea of using old phtos as an addition to the blogg.By the way i saw your book in 'THE REMOTEST PART OF IRELAND and a signed copy strange as it seems your bolg seems to be not just for urbanites
The trench looks really tight around the shoulders ..
I can't find a trenchcoat like that anywhere in Aberdeen...
Perfect Trench Coat, superb picture!

Ana Paula Andrade
The tension between the scholarly and the sensual is not easily resolved... Very alluring.
The city divides so easily into those who make it more interesting, and those who simply make it what it is. You're a magical intellectual and artist. A citadel of the new pragmatic.
LOVE
Very Burberry! love it...!!
I was in that same spot 4 months ago. Great place, right near Rue de Faubourg St. Honore, and in the home of Dior, Charvet, and the Hotel Ritz. Paris Je t'aime
tellement élégant! :)
Beautiful photo!
Sexy guy...!!!!
Cheers from Paris xxx
Monica
love it . .
charmant :)
you look stiff
I'm just going to state it simply: You're hotttttt!
Inventive, brave, awesome
Beautiful man and great pic!
lucky bastard! i wanna be in Place Vendôme too
:(
Classic Jean-Paul Belmondo
Elegance must learn about you
So handsome!
This is of course a lovely photo, but..and this is probably not allowed to be said... the talking on the mobile thing OR smoking thing (or both) whilst being photographed for this blog (which I generally adore and I have your book too, Sart, which I look at lovingly on a daily basis) is becoming something of a cliche.
Oooh - this looks like still shot from a TCM movie!
KL got a trench and I'm sure its all because of scott
meraviglioso
We just love Garance and her photos/illustrations at out blog as well! We even featured her this week! Check it out...
www.thegamine.com
All the best,
The girls at The Gamine
I like your photographs and your style, but this looks too staged.
Anne
Timeless photo. Sans cell.
Nice trench.
He looks like the German guy from Inglorious Basterds...
Beautiful shot!
