Comments on "On the Street......Pattern Master, Pitti Uomo"
Awesome
Perfectly named post. I wish I could get the hang of mixing patterns as well as this gent.

i luv the design of the sweater that he has under his jacket. luv this :)
lacysmess.blogspot.com
yum
Expertly done - seems so effortless. To think I'd spend at least a couple of hours trying on multiple jackets, cardingans, scaves....
Hail to the king!!!
Love the combination of his jacket and cardigan.
http://ganymedekids.blogspot.com
some people are afraid of bold patterns and some aren't.
I really like the layers going on here too!
the COAT!!!!
I am Denise Katipunera
Dandy. Love the pocket of his pants. It's like worn backwards.
I am Denise Katipunera
It just works..
Nothing new under the sun. I would love to see at least one person in the planet without wayfarer and alike glasses. With your glasses you show others how you see the world; with these glasses you are not showing anything. Maybe I have a bad day.
Atusada Para Nada
clever! He puts it together well, and in a very Japanese way. Im still learning how to do that ;-)
Nice jumper! I would wear it!

Love it, Love U :)
I'm not joking - but he looks like my father in the 70s! If I could just show you pictures. Only that my father's jacket was red and black only and not so stylish admittedly. :)
Definitely one of my favorite looks from Pitto Uomo.
Phenomenal! Is that three different tweeds sewn craftily together or was it woven this way?
regardless, the man has a very unique style. j'adore!
now this is more like it.
love love love this outfit!
Oh wow this is fantastic
Great Combinations~!! and very daring...
Inspiring. To think of contrasting a winter print in his cardigan that for me mirrors snowflakes with a gradient plaid blazer is yep -genius. The scarf tells me that this was all intentional. I love it.
Love the glasses. I'm sold on everything but the jacket. I'd have paired that with a solid color.
well... funny :)
Beautiful jacket!
That's one beautiful cardigan! (cargo pants plus jacket = always good!)
Compliments!

This is a very very nice association !!
Superb pattern matching on his jacket.
funny!

great!
First I must admit that your blog is one of my favorite "No-French" blogs BUT perhaps for the wrong reason: because there are many photos and not much text ...
To me that does not understand English well, in good French that I am is a godsend.
Despite that, I must say that your photos reflect what the fashion is and it's what interests me most
P.S.: thanks to Google translation.
Samuel, Paris.
The Hair, glasses and clothes are great...
i'm sooo into patterns now.! ;)
The cargo pants are a bit unexpected, but entertaining. Ironically, I've been in Florence for the past couple of weeks an did not know that Pitti Uomo was happening. Its a shame, I would have loved to join in the festivities. But, I had classes to attend.
Beautiful combination!
http://thestylecurator.blogspot.com
molto carino il cardigan...personalmente lo avrei abbinato con altro,ma va bene così!
http://louis-myfashionshow.blogspot.com/
that man has style
Love the jacket!
Rockin' sweater/jacket combo. Seriously.
personal style in oodles! I don't think I could ever pull it off but it's cool to look at.
That is so cool!
Snowflake rules!
Hello Snowflake! What a combo!
Ridiculously great mix of patterns
I like the mix of textures.
haha thats a very cool outfit, needs a quirky kinda character to pull if off and he does just that, love it.
http://fabulosity-capetown.blogspot.com/
That is impressive!

Ick.
i love the print mix...cosy and elegant

THIS IS FANTASTIC!! NOW THIS GUY HAS STYLE AND A GREAT EYE!!! This is how I want to dress.
I just love how each item works in its own space, not encroaching, overlapping or overpowering the other.
This was well put together.
Love this! Great glasses, and yes the pattern combo...nice.
Indeed.
Who makes that jacket? Amazing!
Wow! Looks like her just rummaged through his grandpa's closet and came up with an amazing outfit! Love it!
Stylin', although I'm bored of the wayfarer-type glasses.
I'd kill for that jacket.
so, so, sooooooo great
i LOVE the blazer!
=)

that sweater rocks
Vagabonderful. Love it.
wow..such a successful job choosing complimenting patterns...quite the feat...the scarf and oxford peaking through add just the right amount of dapper!
vulgar
Love the pockets! Coincidentally, I asked my tailor for this style of pockets (admittedly on the back) and he refused claiming it'd look stupid ;-)
This is a really good mix !!!
I love his neck scarf !!
LOVE the variation of color on the jacket! excellent photo, as alwayyyys.
HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING.
love love love the cardigan under his jacket. where is it from please?tks

frankly amazing jacket with an equally amazing sweater.
OMG; SO WICKED

http://lhabitue.blogspot.com/
What a wonderful coat!
Beautiful pairing of patterns.
Unbelievably perfect. I want his clothes for myself! The jacket is the best. Love the peekaboo belt as well - so much going on here, but it's still put together. Rock on
xx.
Looks great on him....not everyone can pull this off....he is obviosly comfortable with the colors and patterns here.
CIAO REGAZZI!
Nice bit of kit right there.
Take-San!
love the jacket and the cargos
Amazing!
his jacket is gorgeous.
what about the trousers ? and elsewhere !
I'm truly loving the way prints and patterns are mixing this season!
http://oversizedanonymous.blogspot.com
Perfect.
Congratulatios for the shots.
Enric from Barcelona.
I'm not sure what's more amazing, the jacket or the vest? I think maybe it's wearing the two together. I want them for myself...!
Like the jacket and his expression.
i would've never imagined that combination of patterns would ever work in an outfit. but it does. strangely. and i like it.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/limmaginedelcuore
AWFUL.
That coat is such a striking piece. It's amazing that this guy makes it look so casual.
old school sweaters and vest are truly adorable - too bad i really dont see them workin in la...props to this guy!
leadingladyla.blogspot.com
that is incredible!! that jacket is stunning... and if that weren't enough on it's own the cardigan and scarf make it even better. that is such a cool look! xx
shock therapy
Where to start here? I bet We can just say that the whole outfit works well. Beautiful. So lately the shots have been really good, congratulations.
The mix of prints was wonderful.
Very Elegant with a touch of contrasting.

I don't like the coat... I think it's too much.

Love the vest.
he looks great, i love the mix of plaid and snowflakes!
love this style!!!
nice
adore this. great.
I love it. He makes it look so easy. And I especially love his front pockets on his pants.
clothedmuch.blogspot.com
Absolutely love the pattern mixing. I definitely have to try this out. Excellent image.
This cardigan is so lovely!
well, he looks pleased with it.
Uhhh, supercool. Sometimes I really wish I was a man... Well, only sometimes. But this picture makes me jealous of the fact that men wear jacket, cardi and trousers so much better than women.
Thanks for great pictures and huge inspiration.
How bold! ...and still goes so well together. I guess the trick is sticking to a rather muted colour palette.
GREATEST. MAN. EVER.
GREATEST. MAN. EVER.
Its funny because a close up of this guy was on GQ but it excluded his head, and mentioned that only Italian men can dress like this.
I love the pattern mixing. But the pants? Not so much.....The pocket placement just looks awkward to me.
A courageous ensemble -- so close to wrong, yet very right.
Only a confident, stylish guy would put these patterns together and it totally works. I love everything except the pants - would have gone without the front cargo pockets. What footwear did he choose?
Call me a traditionalist. I think that he is wearing too many patterns. The jacket without the sweater would work well. The sweater without the jacket would work well. The two together work against each other rather than contribute to a unified whole.
I do not like the cargo pants, but that is from a practical POV. When the cargo pockets are in the front, rather than on the sides, they are more difficult to use and it is more difficult to climb stairs, etc. when those pockets are used.
It works! I love all the colors on the sweater, shirt, neck scarf. It matches the jacket! Great contrast.
I bow down to this man. He has mad skills.
AMAZING Jacket! He is so cool!

awesome
Am I really the only one on your whole blog that says something about the SQUARE sized pictures? I really like it.
Great shot as always. But this one looks more sharp...I don't know why.
I like the jacket, love the attitude.
Tailor makes a man!
love love love... makes me want to have a cocktail with him.
http://www.ToucanBoutique.com
Not musch to say, simply a great outfit.
http://thebassett.blogspot.com
Prints on POINT. And his pants are soooo great.
Take!! Looking fabulous as always! Love the mix of prints. He looks comfortable confident and of course cosy! :)
IWANTTHATJACKET.
Ok, maybe the whole outfit.
Oh my goodness, I'm amazed. Every element is already a standout piece on its own, I want to say he has no right to be able to make it all work like this! So jealous! Bravo!
He inspires me. It's awesome. I want to try to wear multiple patterns. wow
Jacket, cargo pants and whole style, remind me on Engineered Garments, or something else by Daiki Suzuki.
pattern master indeed. & it in no way looks overdone. wish i could do that.
sherlock holmes!
Take is the man.
Take is the man.
2 words...LOVE IT!
I wouldn't wear it, but I'm in awe...
I confirm, the snowflake cardigan is from Engineered Garments
http://www.ontheground.jp/?pid=15770936

Love the sweater scarf and jacket.
Also so glad the P3 eyeglass frame is finally back. It was always my fav. Never liked the sliver lens styles that much.

Candid street fashion photography
this is so on the wave length of the ethnic aesthetic that has been popping up in the fashion world...reminds me of a merge of African and Middle Easten tapestry...pattern masters
Figured out this is Takeharu Sato, Monocle magazine's fashion editor.
The whole outfit works! Despite the perceived 'clash' of patterns, very nice!! LOVE those pants, the cargo pockets in front seals the look for me :)
This is the fashion editor for Monocle magazine, Takeharu Sato. At least I think so.
What a cutie!!!
www.littlerazzi.blogspot.com
This guy is amazing.
I just love the mixture of patterns and textures. What seals this outfit for me--would be the handkerchief around the neck. What a great touch to the ensemble.
Love the blazer he`s wearing! Especially the leather (?!) detail on the collar. The Scarf is very nice also but don`t know if I like the pattern mix too much!
He is way cool - "Hallo, I am your friend!"
this is definetly the MOST GORGEOUS BLAZER PAGE... i want em all....asians are amazing when they dedido to dar in fashion... making every french or italian speechless.... i wish we could give them the propper admiration..... congrats to this dude.....
I like it I think. I might have gone with a solid jacket or a simple trouser pant instead, because it seems to say that I'm not trying so hard, but he looks striking and its fashion I guess, so there you go.
Engineered Garments at its best!
Really tasteful. Well thought out and very intriguing.
Perfect combination with jacket and cardigan. Style throughout the whole look. I can see why you have captured the eye of the photographer.
Great !!
p.s I get to live with this guy. lucky meeee!!!
Who made the jacket?
The combination of those pants with the more dandy scarf and jacket.. something most people won't come up with, that fact togheter with the courage to combine makes this very unique.
Compliments!
jacket..awesome....
engineered garments?
maybe he is a
japanese clothes brand buyer...
