that is soo wonderfulll
LOVE ME
YA!!!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:28 AM) :

What a great-looking guy. Love the way he puts all of it together -- rolled pants, terrific shoes, scarf, jacket, chunky watch -- but the front of the pants I find odd and distracting. Maybe if that were the back of the pants!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:35 AM) :

kudos on the scarf.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:36 AM) :

Neat scarf

Anonymous anonymous said ... (10:41 AM) :

so cool!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:43 AM) :

Terrible.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:48 AM) :

The closure of the trousers draws the eye, certainly. Terrific look. Well done.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:49 AM) :

The jacket is beautiful, such a lovely cut.

An amazing shot as always!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:49 AM) :

Are those like fisherman's pants? If they are, then it's a very interesting choice of fabric. He wears the outfit well. The scarf is a nice touch.

Blogger TK said ... (10:50 AM) :

Awesome scarf, loved the cuffed pants as well!

Blogger Style Scanner said ... (10:55 AM) :

Too, too good...

Blogger Theophilus Davenport said ... (10:56 AM) :

Those trousers remind me a bit of the Japanese garment hakama, a bifurcated horse riding skirt/trouser worn by samurai. More at how they are attached at the waist. Very interesting shape.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:58 AM) :

interesting pleating on the pants

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:58 AM) :

Great jacket, nice pants. Separately. This is just too busy. A jacket like this should be its own acessory. I'd keep the shoes and the t-shirt and put on a pair of jeans with it. No scarf either.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:58 AM) :

No. Too '90's. We already did this at David Salle openings....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:59 AM) :

the 80s are back!!!

Blogger Vinda Sonata said ... (10:59 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:13 AM) :

cant like the pants ...

Blogger The Backseat Stylers said ... (11:16 AM) :

Unsure of how I feel about this look, but this gentleman certainly has a unique personal style.

Blogger Dennis Elzinga said ... (11:18 AM) :

The trousers are so soft and romantic of style but at the same time very modern and Dior Homme-ish. The structered jacket underlines the modern look, but the scarf gives the whole look a dandy feeling.

Blogger Tagatha said ... (11:20 AM) :

Something in this look makes me think about circus.

Blogger Mom Fashion World said ... (11:29 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:34 AM) :

It reminds me of Mary Poppins or Les Miserables , sorry Scott, but not this time

Anonymous Kikiss said ... (11:36 AM) :

Love the red touch with the scarf...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:38 AM) :

It's the kid on the Dutch Boy Cleanser's outfit.

Blogger Hickers said ... (11:38 AM) :

I know we are not allowed to just say 'No' or 'Yes'. But 'No'. Twice.

Anonymous Mark said ... (11:42 AM) :

Very Dickensian & Artful Dodger. The trouser pleats focus the eye right on his crotch, or should that be his "Artful Todger"?

Blogger FASHION SNAG said ... (11:48 AM) :

Great jacket/blazer and shoes!

xoxo

Blogger SallyO said ... (11:48 AM) :

Our eyes are drawn to his wierd crotch. A bit distracting.

Blogger --jenna said ... (11:50 AM) :

It's the jacket that ruins it for me. The trousers are quirky and the scarf lovely, but the shortish, boxy jacket and those fat lapels just don't work. And I'd love to see what the pants look like un-rolled...

Blogger Terry Bell said ... (12:01 PM) :

If not brave now... when?

I have this notion that great style allows us to see the individual first and then the clothes. This outfit keeps me away from the individual for far too long. Another example of the frame overpowering the picture.

Blogger moreskinnydays said ... (12:12 PM) :

No, not at all. Cannot do it. It's like a waiter on his lunch break who had to run out and buy a quick gift.

Blogger the goorgeous said ... (12:20 PM) :

Gorgeous style! I love PARIS, the food, the people, the shops.. I was there this weekend and I want more!

I loved reading your interview in La Vanguardia! I adore your job Scott!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:23 PM) :

YSL everything ? Pilati is genius. I prefer this jacket with the cropped version of the trousers. Something about proportions. Love this man's laughing eyes too !

Blogger knitlit kate said ... (12:23 PM) :

LOVE the cuff on the pant

Blogger Holly said ... (12:28 PM) :

I think he looks FAB!!! To me the styling now is all about showing your shoes off...He does it well!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:28 PM) :

i love the rolled pant

Blogger lovintrash said ... (12:34 PM) :

FUNtastic trousers...

lo.

www.lovintrash.blogspot.com

Blogger Jamie Staples said ... (12:36 PM) :

the folds of the pants directly over his crotch brings the hint of a renaissance codpiece to my mind. I love it.

Blogger John Sebastian Eldridge said ... (12:36 PM) :

personally i think its all too muh... the lapels on the jacket are far too big and they clash with the folds in the trousers... i like what he's tryng to do ..but it's overwhelming...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:42 PM) :

YSL <3
thought i could do without the trousers. definitely cant. does colette ship to canada?

Blogger Clara Marinelli said ... (12:54 PM) :

So Chic !

Blogger Kara Cocoa said ... (12:54 PM) :

NO! As someone pointed out, everything together is too busy.

Anonymous Me said ... (12:57 PM) :

JUST... FANTASTIC!!! GREAT LOOK IN A GREAT PLACE!!!

Me.

Blogger Debs said ... (12:57 PM) :

He dares to be different-- fantastic!

Anonymous Guga said ... (1:05 PM) :

I guess its time for men to stop dreesing like their grandpas and realize that we are heading to the future... lets start a trend... look at alexander mcqueen's show... thats what im talkin about we are still so close minded... there are modern buildings...modern technology i dont see modern fashion at all... im all bored ....he's not looking great hes not looking bad... hes just average...i couldnt be more honest

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:19 PM) :

Too feminine for my taste. A longer jacket had been better.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:33 AM) :

PROS: His face is so kind and so energizing, and his pose is so natural. And the jacket is quite nice-- wonder if it's vintage Gaultier???

CONS: The pants are not very flattering: Those pleats are terrible, and draping over the wrong area (or maybe that's the idea?); would be better on a woman... the huge cuffs are very 80s and best left there.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:44 AM) :

I'M IN LOVE.

Blogger Diana said ... (2:55 AM) :

oh!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:01 AM) :

ONE WORD..AND ONE WORD ONLY NEEDED:
PROPORTION.

You can have all the best pieces from whomever... it does not mean they work together.

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:02 AM) :

On any given occasion, he should wear either the pants or the jacket. Together it's too much. I like the scarf.

Anonymous Ellie said ... (10:26 AM) :

I love it when men wear scarves!

Blogger Evernolia said ... (10:30 AM) :

This is not a good look. Love the jacket but not with the pants. Sad.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:11 PM) :

the pants remind me of tokio kumagai designs from the 80's. love the full look!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:09 PM) :

I am sorry but it doesn't look effortless. The pants are wrong.

oskger@blogspot.com

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:59 PM) :

everything by YSL Mens Fall...this look is too hard...but nice jacket.

Blogger Agenda said ... (7:35 PM) :

Like the scarf

Blogger Luka Ivanišević said ... (8:03 PM) :

Amazing pantalones <3

Blogger Brian said ... (9:39 PM) :

Seconded on the hakama. Almost looks like he put on a pair and just rolled up the cuffs.

Blogger San said ... (6:39 AM) :

The pants are maaaarvelous. Nicely done.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:13 AM) :

He is a Spanish guy! I know him, he is gorgeous!

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:44 AM) :

On first, you cannot roll the trousers in that way.And the jacket is too short: a black clown look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:32 AM) :

icky-poo, over the top pleats. And then the roll-ups!

Too twee.

Blogger AsterMax said ... (2:47 PM) :

This is such a good lesson in how being comfortable sells the most desperate looks. If he weren't sure of himself this would be disaterous!

Blogger My Yahaira said ... (6:54 PM) :

i want to be his friend...
those pants are amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:59 PM) :

His face does not translate to his outfit; it all doesn't fit. I think he looks awkward and the indivudual pieces don't help him either.

Energie

Blogger majpaj said ... (1:05 PM) :

Those pants!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:40 AM) :

Ugh! *shudder*

Blogger Olviya said ... (5:09 PM) :

love the cut of his pants!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:34 PM) :

schwinnnnnnnggggggg! yikes, this fella is certainly happy to see somebody!

Anonymous Stiletto Stoner said ... (8:17 PM) :

Really people? I give this guy props for not giving a crap but my goodness... Those pants! They're awful! He looks like he just escaped a mental institution.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:41 PM) :

es enrique campos de marie claire?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:35 PM) :

My god this is awful!

Anonymous Viola said ... (1:52 PM) :

Enrique is always so cool!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:04 AM) :

his pants are great but not on him ...maybe on a woman

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:10 AM) :

HA HA....everyone talks about...."ohhh, the scarf", or "ohhh, the pants". Let's face it...or perhaps the bulge is just plain facing us.....rather highly too....

Nice shot, gave me a good laugh! And good on the guy....it's not like he wouldn't know what's going on, flaunt your assets.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:10 AM) :

He looks like a waiter to me, the pants are too much i think.
But the jacket is cool
