this girl is super stylish, she is a mixture of Audrey Hepburn, Jean Seberg and Clifton Webb. By the way, when are we going to see more shoots from Barcelona and Madrid, i´m very curious!!!!
Just think how the world would look if all our mums did the same!
She is always so chic.
She's exquisite! androgyny has never been so sexy.
I'm jealous of her success with the "no handbag" policy. And her ability to pull of that androgynous-ness and still look cute.
i love her necklace and her sunglasses, and her trousers, and... well everything :) (and her leopard shoes!)
i haven't worn stonewashed denim in fifteen years, but the wash on those is perfect.
she's fierce. grrr, yummy!
So chic!I love her style!
yes, she looks consistently fabulous. and, her look is all her own.

delicious french timeless, tres' chic!
hers style its fabtastic!!!! I really like she!!!
I think she's just PERFECT.
I adore her. She is so clean, petite but long and super elegant!
thats the perfect style
Sigh! I just love those trousers. So effortlessly chic.
very cool and casual style, love the androgynous touch!
http://bravelittletailor.blogspot.com
I love the third look. The jacket and the shoes (although I love the flash of animal print in the first too) just *pop*.
She makes me want to cut my hair - and I've only just finished growing it out.
I wish I wasn't so fickle! Damn.
She's lovely. I wish more women had short hair.
I love the way she places her feet. Very photogenic. And adorably stylish.
She is sick... really really cool
Her hair is simply fantastic. Short hair looks so good. Love her style. Simple and clean.
I love this girl. She makes androgyny sexy =) Very beautiful outfits, photos, etc.

it's always difficult for me (a man) to discern "good" styling for women, but these images really struck a chord with me. there is a mature, sophistication and elegance to her dress. it's all beautiful on her! she's also quite attractive, i might add. i would attempt to style myself in the same manner!
Favourite book? Alice in Wonderland!
I love her already, not to mention her style! (:
I love the 1º & 3º pic!
Great post.
Different shoes!!! Cool!
que estilazo tiene esta chica!!!
I really like the androginous looks. You can transcribe them like the 21's century symbol of equality.
She is HEAVEN!!! Love it all!
she puts it all together perfectly every time.
Wow, I mean unbelievably wow! Simpliment superb. Bravo!
I love her style ... she's fantastic!
I always liked that type of look, and I really want to use it myself, but I'm not very tall, and neither exactly skinny, so I'm not sure that finally it really fits me ...
By the way ... somebody knows who designs that WONDERFUL necklaces???
I love her! Nice, simple and sharp with a touch of femininity. Just the way I like it.

After I saw the second picture the last time you've post it I fell in love with her style.
Only with one picture she was in my personal stylefile next to G. Battaglia and E. Alt! Keep up the good work A. Colombo!
i love your blog.. i love your photography.. i love your fashion sense.. thanks, you amaze me..
her style reminds me of the costumes in sleepwalking theo, costume designer guido ronalt. she's like a female version of guy kent. hot.

muy linda y con un gran estilo!
Regia!
I wish I could get away with doing what she does. I tried the short hair/ androgynous thing, but it didn't look this good!
the epitome of french chic...
Gamine, audreyesque and classic. I love her look!
A very attractive young lady, and she has a fresh, clean style.
However—
I just hate fashion photos of women who roll their feet under and stand pigeon-toed! There is no quicker way to change your body language from that of a proud and confident woman to that of a scared and uncertain little girl.
ArtBird
Me encanta!!
Ha Ha, now I see it. The jewelry is Frida Kahlo and the clothes/shoes Birkin Gainsbourg. Loulou de la Falaise... mmmh amongst the aristocrats in the fashion business, I'd opt for Victoire de Castellane.
Exquisite clothes & style... I would really like to know more about the clothes she designs.
always posing. a little feminine touch won't hurt, or will it?
traditional menswear, but with her own little confident twist
www.getobsessed.blogspot.com
leopard loafers. wow. love the hair cut!
Her style is impeccable!
I love it...if only I could pull it off as well as she can!

i would love to see a close-up of those necklaces! they are beautiful and so unexpected.
her style is so inspiring, classy yet individual!IT Girl!!a real one !
Divine!! Very chic lady!
What watch/bracelet is she wearing at 1st photo (wth leo shoes)?
And what belts is she wearing on 1st and 3rd photo?
Thanx a lot :-)
My... i'm in love with the first outfit. perfect! :) love love love...
Oh the first loafer!! love love¨¨¨
Fabulous style, she's incredible good looking in short hair, modern, sophisticated and so confident. I love her!!!
Scott, you cheeky devil-- very clever of you to have only shown us the pic of Alessandra looking very boyishly stylish first, then throwing her profile up later!
At first glance, I really did think she was just a stylish young man, but the somewhat girlish stance made me look twice and reconsider the gender... She is supreme, so confident and with a fresh regal air about her; she leaves all the desperate fashion-wannabes in their cliché Louboutins and it bags in the dust.

her style is really lovely! sexy in an androgynous kind of way!
nice advices from her mom, though. look at what the daughter has become now ;) gorgeousssss!
interesting style - love the top pic, she looks so effortless....
So refreshingly lovely. There is something wonderfully playful in the way she dresses.
absolutely my style....
I just bought the same type of men's khakis at Brooks Brothers together with a beautiful oxford club-collar shirt of Thorn Browne for their Black Fleece label.
www.intothefashion.com
Androgynous! J'adore!
Absolutely love her style, and especially her luscious leather jacket...great trousers tip! I must remember that one, especially since I keep outgrowing mine so quickly...
I like her style- very androgenous and cool.
http://london-copenhagen.blogspot.com/
suuuuuper chic! love-love her everything, and want it for myself. aside: I'll bet she's got killer stems, and is just hiding them from us with those wondrous pants!
It's not fair.
She inspired me when I saw the first photo of her...She wins my style contest!!! She is absolutely adorable!!!
Mm. I was never able to warm to the androgyny. I like men to be men and women to be women. Although her style is impeccable, no question! And yes, I love that jacket.
Y E S!!!THANKS FOR THE INTERVIEW!
loulou de la falaise is also style icon to kate moss. love the first pair of loafers!
check out this vintage shop:

I really like everything about her and her outfits, except this thing she does with her feet...
I must be the only person who does not like her style one single bit! Really unattractive.
I really love her style!
This is so NOW!
She's wonderful!
LOVE her style. Pieces I would incorporate for myself as well. Not too hard core, but just enough to make that statement.
I have to disagree with Anonymous. Hot only has the pigeon toe pose been done to death, her version looks absolutely painful. Placing her feet like that takes away from any confidence she might otherwise be projecting.
The photos are really good!
Love the jacket! Super cool!
i just love her look.
she's right...jacket and shoes are essential to our daily gear ...love the necklaces though....she's rockin it!
if i could dress any way, this would be it.
she looks so cool! I agree on the hat thing... I love her shades. :)
I love her style so much! love to see more other photos!!
Lovely outfits....but I have to admit...I would like to see straight feet!!!!
It would be fun to see her in a hat, since she says hats are underrated.
Fantastic style and perfectly put together...perhaps a little too perfect?
I'd love to meet her in Milano
http://theblondesalad.com
Wonderful style. Love that her mom took her to get the key pieces when she was 12. I too believe in the transforming power of a well fitted jacket and a great pair of shoes.
I love this woman. Androgyny is beyond awesome, and I desperately want her clothing.
RC
Her leopard print shoes are amazing !
edgy, yet ladylike. i tried hair that short; didn't work out so well. The cut definitely suits her.
http://www.christinepaintsthings.blogspot.com
I really like this article and enjoyed reading. Nice article, love the post.
What a pretty, super stylish girl, am sooo envious of how she looks, have just bought some v tight black trousers, now will have to re-think - the cut of the black trousers in the 3rd picture is sublime, but she has such a superb figure and lovely long legs - not sure the 2 sizes too big thing would work on little old short arse me....sigh..also she looks fab in her flat shoes..
On a more general note, most of the comments on this brilliant blog are positive, but sometimes I am a bit shocked by the ferocity of certain comments, or some are the very least a bit carping, I think we should all remember we are talking about a real, living breathing person who may find some of these comments hurtful...and these people are not actors/singer/celebs putting themselves out there to sell a product etc, ....
Molto carina! I need those leopard scarpi right now!
Wow, great and androgyn style, the look on the first two pictures are great. My fav movie is Alice in wonderland too.
The most pretty thing I ever saw
I remember her and her animalier mocassinos from the Milan Fashion Week - amazing style : )
Entirely agree with The Blasphemous Fiendess.
Pietro
Love the necklace. Tres chic!
http://www.etsy.com/shop/selectionvintage
"A vintage Rolex Chronograph"- a must have indeed!
i am beyond in love with her!!!!
Oh My! Pure perfection.
This is something that I have to put forward, and attach to my blog as well. Love her style!
Thanks for inspiration, Again!
What is she always doing with her feet in these pictures?
LOve!
i completely agree. i def need to wear hats more often!
Love her...she's so creative!
so stylish! ladyplay from paris
She is so, so gorgeous. Love this profile...
She's very chic -for her. the her style only works if you have no curves. Also, the 'cutesy ' foot positioning has to go, its childish.
I have to say, throughout the years I've become more interested in the pigeon-toed debate. I suppose I don't see a huge problem with it--but then again, I have a naturally pigeon-toed stance and walk (which feels really awesome when people pick on it). I think if most people pause and check on their stance at strange moments, they'll find that rolling on your feet or standing in such a manner with one foot cocked towards the other or behind the other is more natural than you'd think. My, that sounds terrible and pretentious, but there you go.
I just love these shots. A whole new world of pants!
While I love her style....I have to admit to tiring of the pigeon toe stances!! Anyone else? It seems very child-like and uncertain. There is no STRENGTH behind that pose!!
It was great seeing several takes off her. She is cool chic & "narrowly" stunning at the same time. Love the exquisite jewelry on a casual look.
Love her style... she has a Birkin - Charlotte Gainsbourg - Lou Doillon style
Androgynou, but so feminine !
I love that despite the boyish style, she looks so feminine. Simply Lovely !!
That's a girl?
Must be her name that makes her so fantastic! ;)
www.alessandracastillo.wordpress.com
wow, the first picture is flawless. perfection.
xx
www.champagneelixir.blogspot.com
She looks incredible in every image, and I admire her look so much, but why is she still doing that messed-up foot thing in every image? It drives me nuts! I thought we were finally seeing less of that in general ... it looks uncomfortable, affected and gross. It's so galling when everything else is fantastic.
just thought her first name, Alessandra, matches her style. a boy name with a feminine touch.
The style profiles section is one of my favorite on your blog.
She is hot! Where did she get that jacket from? Wow I want one!
I've loved her style and I'd wear the first look in a minute. I got my hair cut yesterday! I like the second look as well.
A lot of mentions about her feet and I have to believe that is as well thought out as her style. I think she is trying to tell us something here.
I do agree with the person who said that these people could be sensitive to negative comments, however; they did agree to pose for this blog and they all (or most) know that readers comment. Its the fashion and style we are commenting on, not their nose, or cheekbones, etc. But any look, be it fashion or facial features, doesn't always appeal to everyone.
I often have negative comments (they are rarely printed however) but never about the people but their particular fashion. I have my own ideas about style and I don't always agree with everyone else. I don't feel that is wrong. I've said it a million times before and this comment will stop my comment from appearing on the blog but Scott is a style icon in his own right on many different levels however there are many people here that feel if he puts it on his blog it must be fantastic and cheer anything he puts up.
Susan
oh she's goooooood.....
Very Nice..an updated Katherine Hepburn. The shoes are fantastic; we should all wear brown shoes more often.
I really like the first photo!!
really nice, great and once more great, thanks
sexy without looking like she tried too hard. she makes me want to go out and buy like 3 pairs of trousers. amazing.
She does have great style, very simple & clean, very much my taste. Lately especially I am loving black with some brown, esp. leather.
Can anyone tell me, who does she design for? I can't find thru google... everything keeps coming up Sartorialist related!
thanks
jill @ http://streetstylelondon.blogspot.com/
too f**king precious for words
you can see from each one of the poses that she is acting, and not acting well, from the insecurity of her feet positioning. enough of this dude chick already.
Androgynous doesn't cover it.
She's created her own sexuality -- a new one.
She'll definitely go places.
I love the first outfits on her. I just can not take my eyes off her. Brilliant photos as always! Bravo
Her look is actually very feminine to me. Very soft. Love the hair cut and yes, love Frida too. Love the huge butter colored belt. Great set...

O M G the androgyn look is so hot!
oh Dio mio, sempre con Rolex...
Ciao for now.
love her androgynous look!
Thanks, Scott! She is a real find, and it's nice to know a bit more about her.
(What's the "handbag story"?)
second photo,
I don´t like the belt, it is too big
jose, from madrid
THIRD PHOTO,
I DON´T LIKE THE GOLD BRACELET
SHE LOOKS LIKE A RAP SINGER
JOSE, FROM MADRID
I really agree with her so much, but i am a man...Alessandra, you look incroyable & Yves, we miss you !
i agree that people should not make personal comments.... " hes fat , shes ugly...." as this can be very hurtfull and is not respecting the integrety of the individual, seeing this blog as a forum for discussion it would be nice if also negativ blogs ABOUT THE FASHION ONLY would be published.
obviously she is a pretty woman, and looks good in what she is wearing. i dont think however that this look is as effortless as she portraits, and therefor for me looses its cool!
Just one word...CHIC!
Very polished look and it's nice to hear her give mom some credit.
her shoes are great.
and she has a real beauty about her.
it is great to see someone donning a pair of sunglasses other than those god-awful ray bans that everyone seems to be so chuffed about
In every picture her posture is delicate and elegant.
She's great, love the belts. Just hate the way her feet look. Seems like they're broken or something. Not cool.
The style is look of the outfit and of the body together.
To be honest, I don't like this lady's body language. I like the elements, like the sunglasses, accessories, the way she uses a sweater or the colors, or the sizes etc, but her, looks uncomfortable in herself, looks nervous, so it makes me nervous.
PERFECTA.
lo.
www.lovintrash.blogspot.com
she is that blend of boy meets girl that i try for-- but never seem to get quite there. it is neat and polished, handsome and feminine...like amelia earhart ran head first into Indiana Jones and they somehow got mushed together. This is why I love fashion-- i could never cut my hair like that, and i will never have her slender frame or ability to look attractive beyond gender boundaries-- but i nonetheless will be inspired the next time i reach for the boyfriend jeans in my closet. she is gorgeous, and it has nothing to do with typical beauty. love it.
Wow very Nice.
she is SO <>CUTE<> love her looks! AND her hair in the first photo! Love!
I'm loving her ensembles. Chic, classy, very Parisienne.
I must have her leopard shoes! And the cognac loafers. Please and thanks.
She has a lovely gamine look and that androgynous style just suits her. Although I wish people would stop the childish pigeon toe poses. Maybe it was cute when the first few models started doing it, but it's gone on way too long already.
SWEET.
amazing style, amazing taste.. love the leopard flats so chic
this style fits her very well...
I just love this girl's style. I was always a bit of a tomboy, myself, but she makes it so stylish. Love the gold jewelry in the shot with the leather jacket. I hated leather jackets until now.
By the way, she is the first person I've seen to make use of the fact of those zippers that go both ways. Clever girl. I always thought that was a stupid function. But no more!
I love her, she look smart and sophisticated and very beautiful too.
Her style is really unique, not everyone of us could look so classy and cool dressed the same way as her.
Really jealous
http://www.fridexer.com/
Simple, chic with lots of freedom.
She is definitely the inspiration for me. I love that beige leather thick belt on her blue jean.
She is amazing.
She is the best dressed/most stylish person ever. LOVE LOVE.
Ok,she is so adorable. I'm in love with her style. She's expressing herself by using so many classic pieces such as a black trouser, white woven shirt, white t-shirt, khaki chinos,....I can go on and on about her. So many people have a hard time expressing themselves without using such trendy items.
I absolutely LOVE HER STYLE!
Perfection.
Even the way the jacket is zipped.
I LOVE HERRRRR!!!
Elegant but very casual, masculine but feminine, and yet so simple =great style.
Ps: This type of trousers was made for this type of body and the shoes give the outfit a very sexy touch!
i love the trouser and the leopard slipper! really chic and sartorial!
Adore her personal style. Timeless & refined.
Her accessories are fantastic!
Iconic photo! Opened up ELLE DECOR and boom! there she is on the left page with the "Petrie" leather chair on the right. GREAT PHOTO... GREAT CAMPAIGN!
Congratulations!
I really like her shoes in the first picture. Every girl needs a pair of leopard shoes.
