Comments on "The Sartorialist for Burberry's Art of the Trench"
The top 2 photos are just absolutely stunning.
Love a gal in a large scarf!
~taryn xx
the indigo one! I want, I want
(so love this trench project)
Photo No. 3 - Good Gracious, I'm in love. The entire outfit, what can I say! Perfect.
So slick - the color is rich and oh so smooooooth
the third picture really shows the impeccabble taste of the trench coat.and he is not even trying too hard to show it off.
heh the first guy's actually real cute!
and i love those boat shoes from the 3rd guy! stunninggg!
I love this girl
she is the best in this series so far
the first man is very well put together, and he kind of looks like jude law, magnificent shot
Love the first pic. The guy. His stance. His look. Awesome.
The first picture men is looking just like a Jude Law :).
This all makes me wish I could afford a Burberry trench. Is he carrying film reels in the last one? I put small reels in those boxes. But regardless, i love how the yellow contrasts to the rest of his outfit. Again, bravo Sart for your good eye for colour composition.
gotta love a trench! the girl in the second shots is my favorite. love her shoes and love the composition with the mats/shades of the flower shot behind her.
wow, first picture is fantastic! Vintage sunglasses, classic trench, and mrrrr such a sexy attitude! Lovely!
love the flower woman's style
I can't wait to own a burberry trench, its on my must have list...after I buy my house.
Love it!
That first trench looks really amazing.
These shots are all fantastic.
The first man is so handsome and intense. I think it's my favourite of this series thus far.
And the lady looks like a young Molly Ringwald, but that might just be me...
We love the second outfit!
She's so chic!
Best yet!
The girl is a definite head turner. Great color combinations and the shoes are fabulous.
the first picture is utterly stunning and I just had to post it on my blog.
thanks for continuously providing amazingly inspiring photos without fail.

the first guy resembles jude law quite a bit
Love it!
@Jasmin - looks like color photo paper to me.
This has got to be the most effective marketing campaign ever! Of course, I have had many trench coats, but never a Burberrys, and it is simply not the same thing. So, this item has been on my wish list for a long, long time, but now I feel like running out the door and getting it now!!!
Girl with the lilies is my favorite of the entire project!
I love the first two shots, especially the second because the shoes are so fabulous!

Te first guy is giving off so much sex appeal holy cow. It's almost like the trench as a fetish.
the first one: class
coolvisionaire.blogspot.com
The first picture is perfect, so beautiful.
I love the expression on his face, his hands seem so strong and what can i say about the way he wears the trench? Comfortable and easy, yet impeccable. Like the way i like to wear my clothes(try anyway). Even the watch is perfect. Who is that guy anyway?
Oh, and i love the girls shoes as well, i would totally wear them.
the first picture made me squint to determine if it was jude law
and as for the third picture: what an accessory!
It is Jude Law....isn't it? Regardless, I'm so putting a trench coat on my Christmas list.
That first trench. Cinched waist. Jude Law brooding. Gorgeous.

want to marry the guy in the first picture. and the shoes in the second.
the guy and girl from pics 3 & 4 are amazing! Love it!
I think I'm in love (with guy number 1) Don't tell us who it is I might have to leave my husband! Man!
The man in the first pic looks super good! Totally handsome!
Great photos!!!
The top guy, gorgeous coat and gorgeous man.

Wow I absolutely LOVE the first photo! Very mysterious!
http://mushitushi.blogspot.com
The first one - oh my! He is beautiful, as is the trench - love the chocolate brown.
Scott, on another point, I just read an article in today's Financial Times, 'I'm in the front row with Anna' with several quotes by you. Congratulation - you have come a long way since I first discovered your blog (being one of your original fans) and deservedly so.
Thank you for your work, always an inspiration,
so happy to see jeremy getting all this wonderful feedback. berlin power at its best!
I've tried this morning the first trench!!! LOL.
Best!
Jose
what is the watch in the first pic? anyone?
love these pictures for burberry!
just great!
Beautiful!
The girl looks a bit like Molly Ringwald.
all 3 look effing amazing!
Delish. Three of my favorites. (Garance is still #1.)
The first pic is divine...sigh,I think I'm in love.
second one is divine. amazing. those surface to air shoes......
Wow, the first photo makes such an impact- Masculine, Confident, Strong. The way the sleeves are pulled up and the glimpse of his white shirt underneath, he wears it like an alternative to the traditional suit. And the elfin girl with a huge bunch of white lilies just makes me Smile:)
Still luv your Burberry shots:-)
first guy, cartier? I like it, overall sophistication
as some have already noticed, that first pic looks a lot like jude law...and i believe jude also has a mole on his cheek. but his hairline's different.
and jude law is the spokesman for dunhill so i don't think they would be too happy if he was in this burberry ad campaign lol :P
i love the top photo!!!
the first guy has a very Jude Law-esque look about him.
i like how the girl styled her trench with boy friend jeans and heels!
The top photo looks SO much like Jude Law! The shoes in the 2nd photo are AWESOME!
i love the pic of the girl, her look is awesome :)
The man in the first pic is absolutely gor-geous!
Why do I love trenches on everyone else but myself?
These are my favorites yet!
The watch in Pic.1 is a Cartier Roadster, witch comes with two bands. One leather, pictured, and one steel.
I'm in LOVE with the first photo! I like all your Burberry Trench photos. looking cool looks so easy. They're what converse trainers were 7-8 years ago.
oh how much do i love this post. The trench coat is considered as a necessity in every stylish wardrobe, don't you think???
Best wishes,
fashion abuse
what kind of watch is the first guy wearing!? It looks like a Cartier but can't really tell. I really want that watch...its brills!
very cool, i love all the photos on the burberry website too
xxNiki
http://ahautemess.blogspot.com
The first guy does indeed look like Jude Law, but a cuter version! More Italian. Love his sunglasses and the watch ... and trench of course.
I used to be a bit dismissive about wardrobe staples. I prefer pieces that are twists on the classics, but these photos have really opened my eyes to how interesting the old classics, like the trench, can be.
Thanks Scott!

you have to do a book of these. you've completely altered my view of burberry. every one is a different look. they are so so good! did you really find these people on the street wearing burberry??! how did you know that all these different styles was burberry?!!
i like th 2nd alot
www.jetblackdye.blogspot.com
the first guy... his glasses are amazing and so is he
What model trench is the gentleman with the glasses wearing in the photo at the top? It looks like something I could actually use. The jackets in my local Burberry store are all so big I'm drowning in them.
HER SHOES
HER SHOES!!!
Her flowers!
Anna | http://skiddish.blogspot.com
Love these photos, I especially like the second one :)
Best wishes
Giovanna
www.bohomarket.blogspot.com
love, lover her shoes
Love the look in the middle, the shoes are perfect with the coat!
The first photo was one of my favourites from "The Art of the Trench" website. I love the colour of the trench in the second photo, but my eye was immediately drawn to the SHOES--they are not only perfect with the coat, they would be perfect with anything!!
First picture is absolutely perfect.
The bird with the flowers is Tip Top... A true Show Stopper.
wow, lots of worshipping for pic. 1
like the fact that this man drew his belt so tight in his waist, in a way you normally only see women do. for me this is the best art of the trench pics, cause he wears his trench different from the other men from your pics. (I looked and all the other men are wearing their trenchcoats unbuttoned)
a daring man!
GORGEOUS photos! I especially love the 2nd pic!
These photographs are amazing....
Thank you.....L
First one is quite well done. Third, I wish he had worn socks, but oh well. I think the second one is horribly tacky and misproportioned though.
I love the Kodak film boxes. A Kodak moment of a Kodak moment.
I can't get over how feminine the guy in the first picture looks... the 3/4 length sleeves are too much.
Love, love, love her shoes spotlighted with the rolled up boyfriend jean. The bulky scarf with the fuller trench throws it off a bit for me though.
I love your photographs so much! I bought your book from internet. Do you consider to have a book signing in Asia ex. Taiwan?
First guy is absolutelly stunning!
The 1st fellow is Jude Law, or a look-a-like? He's lovely!
that lady is gorgeous! <3
is that JUDE LAW on the first shot ??
i just adoreee this trench.. i love ur pics:) .. visit my new blog if u want.. :)
http://gossipmywardrobe.blogspot.com/
First guy is SO CUTE....He looks stunning and very sophisticated, I'm in love.
The girl is so trendy and apparently simple, that's beeing cool.
Hey Look! It's Mr James Danziger of Pictureyear.blogspot.com !!!
And no socks in November??? How's his gallery doing? ;-)
Cool. I especially love the first picture!
www.fashionbytwins.blogspot.com
The first two, especially the woman, with her expression, big lillies in arm, and wonderful shoes, just steal my heart. Hoenstly, Burberry had better be paying you big bucks for this campaign because my credit card is somehow going to slip out of my pocket and into their store!
Energie
I love those Surface To Air Shoes on the girl!
the first coat is absolutely amazing. maybe it's the way he has it styled, although i definitely love the color.
thestylerealist.blogspot.com
That is one well-dressed silver fox. The cuffed khakis and the dark trench are great together.
I love the sandals of the girl in jeans!!!
http://sinmanolos.blogspot.com/
love in a trench
Love love love the second picture. I need her shoes!
man in picture # 1 = perfection.
love how the girl did it too!
I love that chocolate/brown colored trench coat. It's perfection.
you can find the girls shoes on this webside:
www.surface2air.com
Oh la première photo...il a un côté Jude Law, non ?
Et les chaussures de la deuxième photo !!! J'adore !
Mr. Danziger looks great in his trench! And I'm loving that girl's shoes.
We are absolutely loving this project!! Keep 'em coming!!
http://3oclockpop.blogspot.com/2009/11/moda-pop_16.html
definitely the art of a burberry trench
super handsome the first guy
It's not jude, jude's really balding these days. No offence jude, it's fact. This guy would get a double-take from me.
Ace photos.
Shoes on the girl are great. Love the slouchy proportions contrasted against the perfect props on the 3rd.
I love the tortoise shell glasses in the first picture! So sophisticated.
Like the first photo!
clean and chic. very nice!
Can't do no wrong with the trench coats! What a classic.
I love the shoes. SO glad I have my own pair (in black). Just saw them in animal print on the Surface to Air website. OMG I need to get the new ones too!!!!
At first glance, the guy in the last picture looks like George Clooney...
photo 1, so perfect sophisticated look, love it.
that lady is gorgeous
I loved the glasses on the man with the lovly black coat!
i love the middle picture! that lady is so fabulous!
Photo #3: Stout outfit, all business (but no socks). He contradicts the tight sleeves with no socks and unbuttoned coat. He's got some place to be soon--hurry up and take the pick, Scott!!
looks like those people have great LIFEEEE style. especially the last two...love the kodak box
The second one is brilliant!
It's the sort of outfit I wish I picked out myself..
Where were these taken, Scott? I would like to know where this girl lives, because I want to ask her to marry me.
omg! Did Molly Ringwald step in a time machine and come back as herself looking like she did in 1984! Holy crap! that girl is a deadringer for her.
i like the first two al lot...love the rolled up sleeves, looks somehow strong and self-confident to me!
One vote for the understated photographer! What a lovely color palette; I really like the way the boxes create the same effect as, say, a yellow scarf, or yellow socks.
And he literally has the perfect chinos.
Well done.
Brilliant campaign!!!! LOVE IT, Scott!
all really great. the first man's glasses are fabulous.
Beautiful campaign for Burberry, Scott. Do you really need to post it on the blog though? Better for Burberry and for you if everyone recognizes it for what it's worth - a paid relationship. My two cents only, but if paid work/campaigns become your content as well, then I'm wondering if what you're featuring is truly what you like. I'd also be impressed if this comment is approved...
These are beautiful photographs. Especially the first one! That man looks incredibly similar to Jude Law. His pose is so masculine, yet so perfect for that jacket.
She looks like modern Molly Ringwald in 16 Candles.
Nice shoes
That girl's shoes are RIGHTEOUS! This is the way to rock a trench. Congrats Sart.
love the girl. her look is fab.
I love love love love and love the boy in the photo number one, ohh my god, he is very handsome... who is?? where he live??
KISSES, visit my blog people
http://www.thesartorialist.blogspot.com/
Forget the trench, I want that girl's shoes!! :)

the first guy is really like Jude Law...great pictures, love this blog!
simply Beautiful speaking picture.
valentina
Anyone knows what model is the trench in the first picture?
i love you. x
It looks like Surface to Air is belting out some gorgeous photo-worthy shoes! Well done.
All the outfits are great, specially the first picture.
The Sartorialist did s great job for the Burberry project.
Congratulations Scott.
I was admiring this on the Burberry site a little while back. Beautiful work. I've been saving for a Burberry trench for ages!
That first photo is stunning. I don't think I've seen an olive trench in action on a man before.
The girl is too fierce for words!!!
I adore girls trench in combi with the shoes on pic 2...... LOVE LOVE LOVE ! Best style in Trench yet.....
OMG, isn't Jude Law on the first photo?! Just adorable.
I wish I could throw on a trench, scarf, and gladiator heels and go out and do groceries.
