Blogger Unknown said ... (8:39 AM) :

This all makes me wish I could afford a Burberry trench. Is he carrying film reels in the last one? I put small reels in those boxes. But regardless, i love how the yellow contrasts to the rest of his outfit. Again, bravo Sart for your good eye for colour composition.

Anonymous heather said ... (8:49 AM) :

This has got to be the most effective marketing campaign ever! Of course, I have had many trench coats, but never a Burberrys, and it is simply not the same thing. So, this item has been on my wish list for a long, long time, but now I feel like running out the door and getting it now!!!

I love the expression on his face, his hands seem so strong and what can i say about the way he wears the trench? Comfortable and easy, yet impeccable. Like the way i like to wear my clothes(try anyway). Even the watch is perfect. Who is that guy anyway?
Oh, and i love the girls shoes as well, i would totally wear them.

Blogger andrea said ... (11:38 AM) :

the first picture made me squint to determine if it was jude law

and as for the third picture: what an accessory!

Blogger C. Anne said ... (3:07 PM) :

Wow, the first photo makes such an impact- Masculine, Confident, Strong. The way the sleeves are pulled up and the glimpse of his white shirt underneath, he wears it like an alternative to the traditional suit. And the elfin girl with a huge bunch of white lilies just makes me Smile:)

Still luv your Burberry shots:-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:14 PM) :

first guy, cartier? I like it, overall sophistication

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:26 PM) :

as some have already noticed, that first pic looks a lot like jude law...and i believe jude also has a mole on his cheek. but his hairline's different.

and jude law is the spokesman for dunhill so i don't think they would be too happy if he was in this burberry ad campaign lol :P

Blogger Thomas said ... (5:43 PM) :

i love the top photo!!!

Blogger Natalie said ... (6:16 PM) :

The first guy does indeed look like Jude Law, but a cuter version! More Italian. Love his sunglasses and the watch ... and trench of course.

Anonymous Grace said ... (1:37 AM) :

I used to be a bit dismissive about wardrobe staples. I prefer pieces that are twists on the classics, but these photos have really opened my eyes to how interesting the old classics, like the trench, can be.

Thanks Scott!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:37 AM) :

What model trench is the gentleman with the glasses wearing in the photo at the top? It looks like something I could actually use. The jackets in my local Burberry store are all so big I'm drowning in them.

Blogger Forest City Fashionista said ... (10:16 AM) :

The first photo was one of my favourites from "The Art of the Trench" website. I love the colour of the trench in the second photo, but my eye was immediately drawn to the SHOES--they are not only perfect with the coat, they would be perfect with anything!!

Blogger vinh! said ... (10:59 AM) :

The bird with the flowers is Tip Top... A true Show Stopper.

Blogger winke-l said ... (12:48 PM) :

wow, lots of worshipping for pic. 1
like the fact that this man drew his belt so tight in his waist, in a way you normally only see women do. for me this is the best art of the trench pics, cause he wears his trench different from the other men from your pics. (I looked and all the other men are wearing their trenchcoats unbuttoned)
a daring man!

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (5:02 PM) :

GORGEOUS photos! I especially love the 2nd pic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:32 PM) :

These photographs are amazing....
Thank you.....L

Blogger Oddysseus said ... (8:46 PM) :

First one is quite well done. Third, I wish he had worn socks, but oh well. I think the second one is horribly tacky and misproportioned though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:34 PM) :

I love the Kodak film boxes. A Kodak moment of a Kodak moment.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:39 PM) :

I can't get over how feminine the guy in the first picture looks... the 3/4 length sleeves are too much.

Anonymous roadtoabudhabi said ... (10:45 PM) :

Love, love, love her shoes spotlighted with the rolled up boyfriend jean. The bulky scarf with the fuller trench throws it off a bit for me though.

Anonymous fermdomain said ... (11:58 PM) :

The first two, especially the woman, with her expression, big lillies in arm, and wonderful shoes, just steal my heart. Hoenstly, Burberry had better be paying you big bucks for this campaign because my credit card is somehow going to slip out of my pocket and into their store!

Blogger Paige said ... (5:29 PM) :

One vote for the understated photographer! What a lovely color palette; I really like the way the boxes create the same effect as, say, a yellow scarf, or yellow socks.

And he literally has the perfect chinos.

Well done.

Blogger Chris Johnson said ... (12:26 AM) :

Brilliant campaign!!!! LOVE IT, Scott!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:18 AM) :

all really great. the first man's glasses are fabulous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:00 AM) :

Beautiful campaign for Burberry, Scott. Do you really need to post it on the blog though? Better for Burberry and for you if everyone recognizes it for what it's worth - a paid relationship. My two cents only, but if paid work/campaigns become your content as well, then I'm wondering if what you're featuring is truly what you like. I'd also be impressed if this comment is approved...

Blogger The Connoisseur of Culture said ... (6:16 PM) :

These are beautiful photographs. Especially the first one! That man looks incredibly similar to Jude Law. His pose is so masculine, yet so perfect for that jacket.
