Love her look - practical and stylish! This kind of photo often inspires me more than the overtly fashion-y looks, because it's so accessible and, again, practical for a student. I love the gray and yellow!
What a beautiful girl! And I love the simplicity of her outfit. And then the pop of color with the purse! Genius.

Nice. The season's seen a lot of layers, large proportions on small frames and mixing of masculine/femme - it's nice to see something that fits and is clearly femme without it being thigh exposing dress or skirt.
Love it! I have the same haircut - she looks so chic without looking like she's trying terribly hard. Love the pearls with that whimsical sweater. And red lipstick - perfection.

LOVE the red lipstick!! and then I notice the other feminine, bombshell-esque details - hair, pearls, pretty purse. but I like all this with the jeans. I think she's very successful with a modern look with vintage references. This is such a contrast to design student #1 whose look was nice, but not imaginative.

She is a classic beauty. Love the combination of blue jeans, pearls, the sweater and her purse, and especially the bright red lipstick.
I love the glamour of the makeup and the long strand of pearls combined with the whimsy of the sweater--this is wonderful! Such a great look. So nice to see people have fun with fashion.

Scott, I don't know if it's the light or the girl's face or the setting on your camera (it looks like film film) or what, but this photo is a real leap forward for you. Or, at least, a leap in a different direction.
Normally, I don't like sweaters with animals or santas or elves or whatever on them, but here, I am loving the look. Maybe it's the red lipstick, hairstyle and necklace. Or maybe it's your photgraph and the way you captured the light on her face. Not sure. But I in all cases, I do like this photo quite a bit.
I'm struggling to see where you are coming from with this one. I love her attitude but I am not appreciating the outfit.

where and when do you take all these photos...
How sweet! It reminds me of the mid 80's Family-Ties era look. I think I wore every version of this sweater in fifth grade.
What a beautiful girl! And I love the simplicity of her outfit. And then the pop of color with the purse! Genius.

I thought that was Regina Spektor at first.
Love the casual elegance.
Love the sheep on her pullover!
Standing out in the crowd!
Stunning face! I like the red lips, this girl has attitude!

Every element is spot on! Again, I want to see the shoes!
I love the sweater with the sheep on it! so cute.
That purse is the final punctuation of that outfit. Nice shot.
Love this shot. She looks like Naima Mora too!
gotta love the black sheep sweater!
She is incredible!!! I especially love the bag, that color is quite perfect. And the lipstick looks amazing. Chanel, perchance?
Her sweater's too cute, and I love the the pops of colour (bag, lipstick) to brighten the outfit up. Gorgeous photo!

She's a modern Lady Diana in her black sheep sweater and pearls!
Very timeless, both as a look and as a photo.
A question: what is that little peep of red at the junction of her neck and her left shoulder?
The lipstick and pearls really seal the deal.
she looks an awful like a girl who won top model back in the day (i can't remember her name)-- the one with the punk haircut.
I don't like the sweater.
A young heroine.
She's great, but you are an even greater photographer. I can't imagine who else could get this kind of cooperation for his lens.
Am I wrong to say that she looks French? Look how high she carries her head. And her slight nonchalant but yet proud posture is so sexy!
Love her jumper

x's
i went to a summer program with her! she looks great here! love the lips
You're a beautiful girl. Incredibly photogenic. I love American style.
reminds me a little of regina spektor!

very pretty girl, very simple outfit but sooo cute!

Simple perfection.
This is more like it. My heart almost skipped a beat! She looks so modern-retro, so put-together. (The first design student looked like she'd had a bad week. >_>; ) Love it all, the dark, well-fitted jeans, the playful sweater, beads, make-up, purse... Only negative comment is that we don't get to see her shoes!! :D
I seriously want that sweater! Love it combined with the pearls.
SHE LOOKS LIKE IT :0
Ahh, I know her!
in love! :
+sweater, lips, hair, pearls. <3 adorable.
Are you going to sell your books when you come to Madrid? I can't find them in any store!!
Beautiful woman in a great photograph. Couldn't you see her singing in a smoky bar, oh about seventy years ago? Do you think she considers herself the black sheep?
i love the sweater! i want to find one just like it...
What a face! Gorgeous.
very rarely does a photo of a person evoke a song with me. however i feel like she is just about to break into.."at last my love has come along...." beautiful
this is my friend caroline! she is a fashion major!
The sweater is wonderful~!
www.graceinstitute.org
until you scroll down to the jeans you'd think this photo was taken in a different age! the sweater, the pearls, the classic beauty... simply wonderful!
not about clothing, this one.
she's got swagger.
yr photo's got swagger.
Amazing photography! Clever use of light put so much hope and doubt on the young student's face! Great story!
everything is wonderful but the belt.
and she is gorgeous.
Take a closer look behind her hand, and you'll see the head of a 3rd white sheep, which means this sweater is telling me a story- a reference to being a black sheep! Makes me love it even more!
i love the contrast between the dramatic expression of face and the abandon in the hand.
great...light hearted and pretty. Exactly how you'd want your best friend to look when you're meeting up for coffee and you need cheering up....
Another stunning photo, Scott!
Ah! I love the 3 little sheep!
absolute stunner!
Caroline! haha i guess it was worth it coming back late to concepts.
channelling Mad Men, peut-etre? fabulous look...
this isn't so much about the girl or the clothes, but how you capture the light falling on them. very clean. this is a case where the photography creates glamour out of the mundane. bravo!
she looks a lot like regina spektor...same hair, same red lippies. absolutely unique!
If I am not mistaken, this is the twin sister, Nia, of Naima Mora, winner of ANTM cycle 4, no? I believe she is a photographer.
Now we're talking.
She looks like the female version of Chuck from GG :P
she's all Audrey and all, love her style! the sweater looks familiar though, does anyone know where it's from?
thanks,
Hilla Ohayon
www.hillaohayon.com
She is amazing.
The sweater looks like a vintage one from the children's rack. Those pearls and the strong makeup balance the simplicity of the clothes.
This woman has a supreme eye for styling. One of my very favorite shots I've seen here.
cute!!!
www.joliejamie.blogspot.com
I wonder where she goes to school in New York.
A+ on lighting!
perfect.
I love her facial expression and the makeup/hair combination, very retro-glam
todo en esta mujer son las perlas...
all in this girl is about pearls, everything is there, in that touch.
She is my friend!
Like a character from August Sander. To be filed under "Menschen Typen - Design Student".
makes me wanna try lipstick for real... her hair has a 40's feeling I love
what a gorgeous photo....it completely capture new york, too
the color pops in this photo are just bouncy! i appreciate that her sweater is cropped but not too small in the shoulders. and her haircut is special
adore!
Simply beautiful.
With such face, presence and hairdo, who cares what she's wearing.
Beautiful!
Her pearls and makeup are a classic combination , fabulous when worn so casually. Well done !
I think she goes to Parsons..
Stunning photograph - the perspective, the composition, the colors, the subject.
she looks like chuck bass` sister!!
looks like a hispanic beauty...her face and the pride in her walk let her look like a lady. lovely!
argh! i need this sweater!
this is a fine example of the woman wearing the clothing not the clothing wearing the woman:) she is stunning
ADORE how she mixes the eras ending up with a totally unique and glamorous look.
warm and sexy!
She's so pretty. There's a classy and elegant vibe about her.
http://www.sharifaknows.blogspot.com/
your best photo
It cracks me up that someone can wear a jumper with sheep on it, and have a yellow bag, and still appear stylish. Just goes to show!
Gorgeous young lady. Killer red lipstick. I would guess she's of Iranian descent. The clothes are unimportant in this clothes.
Beautiful. This isn't to do with high end designer labels...this is true style. Being elegant and timeless in jeans and a sweater. This girl has got IT!
she's half filipino and gorgeous :)
