WHOA!!!!! Taken aback

That is a brilliant jacket. Good catch Sart

Blogger look book said ... (4:33 PM) :

probably the most attractive man I have seen yet. Rugged in Paris.

Blogger Naaaab! said ... (4:33 PM) :

Not just on the Street! In front of Colette, and at your signing too! The guy had to make an effort that day!! ;)

Blogger BadRomance said ... (4:34 PM) :

Yes! And I love blazers <3

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:39 PM) :

but i think the man in the olive shirt steals this photo in a way.

Blogger ingefaer said ... (4:41 PM) :

that is a fantastic jacket/coat - I love it and the man wearing it is pretty nice to look at as well

Blogger Xanela Chic said ... (4:45 PM) :

I love this jacket too...

Blogger Irene Catharina said ... (4:47 PM) :

Such beautiful colours on such a beautiful man! I'm not a big fan of beards, bit alright, I have to admit it: it suits him just fine. Love his haircut too!

Blogger Acerca de este blog said ... (4:47 PM) :

Nice jackets, but, no more pictures from SPAIN?

Blogger Katie said ... (4:51 PM) :

It's like the early Star Trek: Next Generation dress uniform, only in plaid.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:53 PM) :

I'm not a fan of this jacket. The amount of fabric in that plaid is giving me a tablecloth feeling. Sorry. Beautiful man, however!

Blogger Merilin said ... (4:57 PM) :

I like the guy on the right;)
AND BOTH JACKETS (the right more for my personal taste)

Blogger Soren Lorensen said ... (4:57 PM) :

No way José!

Blogger Eugenia210 said ... (5:06 PM) :

I am not sure if the jacket is nice, or not.........but he is so handsome!!!!!

Anonymous emilija said ... (5:07 PM) :

god, he looks amazing!

Blogger agnes szucs said ... (5:07 PM) :

I like that this fabric has a nice taffeta-look to it. Nice and daring!

Blogger The Blasphemous Fiendess said ... (5:10 PM) :

Yes, a very handsome man. To me the jacket looks like Grandpa's night shirt.

Blogger Dominica said ... (5:12 PM) :

His coat rocks ! Wow ! Takes a lot of style to wear this (right) !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:18 PM) :

There is a Land's End women's scarf
(Women's CashTouch . . .) that is almost the exact plaid.

Anonymous Bea said ... (5:18 PM) :

Don't like the coat..i'd prefer a plain one. anyway, it looks good on him

Blogger Cassandra said ... (5:29 PM) :

The upturned collar. Excellent.

Blogger **Maria ** said ... (5:31 PM) :

Not really going for this jacket...the man, yes, jacket, no. Maybe if it was about a foot shorter it wouldn't look like a lumberjack's pajamas with a collar?

Anonymous davidsl said ... (5:48 PM) :

cute guy. hideous coat. maybe...maybe if it was jacket length, it might be okay. but that long. yeeks.

Blogger whateverfin said ... (5:50 PM) :

I actually think the man to the right of the featured coat is much more interesting!

The coat man's "mom jeans" just aren't doing it for me.

Blogger CurvyGirlChic said ... (5:50 PM) :

So amazing. He's adorable in a delicious rugged way, too! ;)

Blogger VF said ... (5:56 PM) :

that plaid is awesome. wish I could see the pants, i love light wash jeans on guys!

Anonymous Regina said ... (6:04 PM) :

He looks like he must smell nice. A very well-kept and handsomely groomed man - the facial hair is intentional, not just roll our of bed mess! The coat is maybe too plaid but notice the light blue pants and shirt? This man is in france but looks totally italian.

Anonymous Libby K said ... (6:10 PM) :

When the picture first revealed itself on my screen (top down), I was steeling myself to handle the plaid as a jacket. I was not prepared for the full-length coat. Too much plaid for me. Oh, but he is very handsome and masculine, and his choice represents him as confident and daring as well.

Blogger S Milano said ... (6:19 PM) :

This is what personal style is all about, to push it and not care, love it.

Blogger laweezil said ... (6:36 PM) :

He looks GREAT! Love it! LOVE it!

Blogger hk1123 said ... (6:37 PM) :

Love HIM. The jacket is just a bonus!!

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (6:39 PM) :

Not an easy jacket to pull off, but he does so effortlessly...

Anonymous grizzlesnort said ... (6:49 PM) :

Looks like he spent some time in Karachi or Kabul. Very Shalwar-Kameez with a western twist from the plaid. Something we might see from Van Noten when he is re-interpreting "ethnic" styles. But in the end, meh...

Anonymous ROSS said ... (8:11 PM) :

mmm i love tartan? ok but....mumble mumble...

Blogger rlmtheii said ... (8:12 PM) :

This jacket is terrible! Do any of you notice fit and cut? Its like the guy put on a box. The textile is quite nice but the rest is a mess. I love the guy next to him though. He's probably a guy who looks good every day without trying to stand out once a week. Its what I do. Look nice every day and people will notice. Look good once a month and people forget quickly.

Blogger Kirsten said ... (8:25 PM) :

only a man this handsome could get away with this coat!!

Blogger Jacqueline said ... (8:27 PM) :

Interesting jacket and he pulls it off amazingly well!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:33 PM) :

I don't think it's a jacket, a coat maybe. Maybe a tablecloth at Mama Loene's

Anonymous egarces said ... (9:13 PM) :

nice blog mate!

Blogger Gil said ... (9:13 PM) :

I like this coat but it would look much better worn with dark colored pants particularly navy blue. With the jeans he is wearing it looks , well I hate to be harsh but cheap and tacky.

Blogger nastasja. said ... (9:16 PM) :

I love everything going on in this shot.

Blogger theTrendyDwarf said ... (9:19 PM) :

Wow! I just got my new GQ today, and guess what picture was included in The Sartorialist section of the magazine? This one! I love this mans coat so much! Super original and very eye catching. The colors are so warm and I want it.

Anonymous Angeline said ... (9:19 PM) :

I'm moving to Paris to find this man... to borrow the jacket. ;-)

Blogger Thomas said ... (9:56 PM) :

the guy in the back has cool hair.

Blogger rayhay said ... (10:34 PM) :

such confidence. love it.

Blogger Holly said ... (10:44 PM) :

Great capture!!! Very unique jacket! Mad for plaid!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:04 PM) :

That's Dario Spadea Pandolfi

I like the last time he was on here - with the navy coat and the exposed wrists, a much, much better look than this hideous coat. Handsome man though

Blogger diane said ... (11:13 PM) :

Urban camouflage.

Anonymous wrenna said ... (11:50 PM) :

I love the grey and orange sweater on the man in the background.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:50 PM) :

Heellloo!!!With that jacket you couldnt hide in a crowd if you tried. Love!

Anonymous joe t said ... (11:55 PM) :

love !!!! only in paris can see a group of men looking so good,, rugged but yet fashionable,, this has to be one of the top ten men's photos,,,,

Anonymous Runway Reviews said ... (12:31 AM) :

terribly comfortable i guess, do not like very much the prints but for this man, i guess it's suit well

Blogger This Time Now said ... (12:31 AM) :

The gentleman is attractive but that "jacket", not so much. It reminds me those plastic laundry bags that you can buy from Tati. You can find them all over Paris. It's just too much for just two eyes.

Felicia, This Time in Seoul

Anonymous Stephanie Press said ... (12:52 AM) :

Who is looking at the jacket? Handsome man.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:53 AM) :

Nice coat, it can double as a picnic blanket.

Blogger SourGrapesClothing.com said ... (1:16 AM) :

Extra long for extra style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:28 AM) :

not loving this look. the olive shirt steals the photo.

Blogger Can't buy me style said ... (1:35 AM) :

Love his panache.

Blogger Vinda Sonata said ... (1:52 AM) :

to be honest i don't really like the jacket. but the color is beautiful. what i like most is the man. look at that matured face. beautifully tanned skin. isn't he perfect everyone??

Blogger litlstrawberry said ... (2:08 AM) :

He is really handsome in such a fancy trench!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:19 AM) :

bold and fantastic.

Blogger Lucas Jones said ... (2:21 AM) :

i way more love the guy's tux jacket on the right

http://www.lucasjonesart.blogspot.com

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:13 AM) :

Is it just me? I hate this coat, reminds of a tablecloth pattern in a sad italian restaurant. Please!

Blogger Un samedi... said ... (3:23 AM) :

Me too i love it (the jacket)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:28 AM) :

Ohh, I did not like te coat at all. It is like a tablecloth pancho. having said that I think the man in at the back with khaki t shirt and blazer ha a WOW style. Casual but chick the combination of a t-shiry with a collar hanki is a bless

Anonymous Josh said ... (3:32 AM) :

It's Dario of peacoat fame again.

Anonymous Percy said ... (3:40 AM) :

Well You cant say he doesn't stand out from the crowd. that plaid in a sea of black jackets could look very out of place but somehow he just makes it work!
effortlessly worn.

http://pauperthreads.wordpress.com/

Blogger KoulaS said ... (4:26 AM) :

This is a cool jacket with a classic plaid pattern.

Blogger Selkie said ... (5:14 AM) :

I love plaid but I'm not going crazy for this jacket, at least not as a jacket - I want to put condiments and placemats on it. As others have said though - what a beautiful man. Old-school handsome, like Alain Delon but with real 70s ruggedness going on. He's put colour in my cheeks this morning!

Anonymous Diva Hopeful said ... (5:14 AM) :

But...He is wearing a plaid ? Très courageux.

Blogger Diana said ... (5:26 AM) :

The leather jacket is better.
this plaided wonder is very dangerous to wear.
You have to be at leat 1,80m and slim, otherwise it will look like a bathrobe.
Please, stay at your navy blue raincoat :-))))

Blogger Graham I. Haynes said ... (5:29 AM) :

I assume the plaid coat is the primary subject, but I really like the dark blazer with the subtle pocket square. Nice hair, also.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:15 AM) :

i love guy that behind him. he look cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:28 AM) :

agreed. the man to right right is far more crush-worthy... xx

Anonymous Liliana said ... (6:28 AM) :

I find much more attractive the guy on the right, with the olive t-shirt and a black jacket, he's the quintessence of the parisian sexy boy...effortlessly cool

Blogger Cobalt Violet said ... (6:29 AM) :

He is so handsome it almost doesn't detract ... but it's a battle.

Blogger Aimée said ... (7:02 AM) :

I'm not really going for the jacket..I like the guy in the green t-shirt&black blazer better.
Besos from Spain

Blogger Mcmaris said ... (7:02 AM) :

Wow, love this jacket! Actually both jackets you posted are amaze!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:04 AM) :

Hi All,

He is the same man as in the post 'On the Street... Dario at Night, Paris' from Sunday October 04, 2009
Here you can check it

http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/2009/10/on-streetdario-at-night-paris.html

Anonymous YloJkt said ... (7:06 AM) :

Yes- man in olive tee & blazer steals the shot. Got a # for him?
I do not like the coat, but I do like the fact that he wore it. To me, it embodies a "well, *I* like it, so get stuffed" sort of attitude. Which I should adopt more often myself.

Blogger Renato A. said ... (7:13 AM) :

For me this picture is all about the guy in the back with the blazer & t-shirt....

Looks relax and cool...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:31 AM) :

Much better than the grungey leather jacket guy.....

Blogger Ashley said ... (7:41 AM) :

I do love this jacket.

oh wow.. yes yes yes please! ;-)

Anonymous Becca said ... (8:03 AM) :

this ain't hot!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:09 AM) :

He's a very good looking chap but even he can't get away with wearing a badly cut tablecloth.

Blogger Susan said ... (8:51 AM) :

I love this jacket too! But i also really love the blazer on the gentlemen in the background.

http://mushitushi.blogspot.com

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:58 AM) :

I also like the guy in the blazer in the back :)
P.S is that a collette bag i see? <3

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:05 AM) :

Personally, don't like the jacket, it looks stiff. And I don't like the plaid, reminds me of the inside of a sleeping bag.

Blogger Gary K. said ... (9:05 AM) :

Not feeling any love for the jacket. As mentioned above, terrible fit. And the color pattern is obnoxious.

Blogger Eugenia210 said ... (9:38 AM) :

And he is the same man that appeared on may 13, 2008....here you can see him

http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/2008/05/style-profiledario-spadea-pandolfi.html

Blogger Brett Tipert said ... (9:38 AM) :

can anyone ID this coat!

Blogger sadiqeh said ... (12:32 PM) :

This is the best time to accessorize! Wearing layers becomes necessary to keep warm, but it gives you so many opportunities to wear great pieces without covering them up. It isn't freezing yet so you're not concerned with wearing the warmest possible coat and you can wear the coats you kept away all summer!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:28 PM) :

the man in the green shirt and blazer is much more interesting to me than the man in the plaid. im not liking his light pants

Anonymous robin said ... (2:27 PM) :

Such a handsome man! He even looks good in my grandpa's nightshirt.

Blogger Bell said ... (3:29 PM) :

No I dont like this trench, I prefere bulberrys clasics trench,
where is the Spanich pictures?

Anonymous adublingal said ... (3:52 PM) :

I remember him from before...forget his coat I would run away with him as he is extremely attractive. Okay his coat is great but I prefer the navy one on him..and the shirt combo!

Blogger H said ... (4:18 PM) :

This jacket is LOVE!! Plaid is my poison!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:28 PM) :

Although I LOVE looking at all the comments of "I love this" or "I hate this" style, I am forever dazzled by your eye for the expression of your fellow human being. You (and Garance) sing me to life visually every single day. Happy Thanksgiving and cheers!!!!

Blogger Elise said ... (11:36 AM) :

even on a picture he looks charismatic and handsome...grrr why are only the happy few blessed with this gift?!

Blogger Simo said ... (3:20 PM) :

I like the outfit of the gentelman
bihind him...cool et chic au meme temps.

Anonymous Irene Suwarno said ... (6:34 PM) :

This guy with a trendy jacket looks like Hugh Jackman.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:24 PM) :

Lovvve Paris! More Paris!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:21 AM) :

actually what really captures my eye is the man behind him who wears a tuxedo jacket and a green t-shirt...that´s style!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:04 PM) :

now that's a good looking man

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:58 AM) :

...everyone can wear a tuxedo jacket and t-shirt...this is not style! I love the coat and they way he is wearing...Dario has a personal style!

Edward J. Bennet

Anonymous enrico said ... (12:36 PM) :

wonderful..!!!!! just for special people.....

Anonymous Tao said ... (8:44 PM) :

You do not see that everyday.

Blogger Sunny Fong said ... (6:33 PM) :

That would be great had it been shorter, ending at the hip.

Blogger Veronica said ... (9:04 AM) :

Only 1 other person thinks he looks EXACTLY like Hugh Jackman?! Haha! He's a dead ringer! Very handsome, indeed!

Anonymous melanie said ... (10:30 AM) :

Um... I think you should have a shorter jacket when it has such an aggressive print.
