Just amazing ♥

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:06 PM) :

marvelous...please post a frontal if you shot one!

Blogger Barbora said ... (1:06 PM) :

What a great "pant-skirt"!

Blogger loveless said ... (1:10 PM) :

Love it. I wish more men would embrace the kilt.

Blogger Kat said ... (1:12 PM) :

wow, the french are so creative with how they dress.

Blogger Jessica / Lola Vintage said ... (1:13 PM) :

I absolutely love men in skirts! I've never seen anything like these kind of bottoms before.
nice grey mix.

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:16 PM) :

Love a man in a kilt but for the life of me, I can't figure this one out. Is it a kilt over a pencil skirt? That messenger bag is very cool

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (1:16 PM) :

This is like the perfect combination of layers, textures, colors and fit. I particularly like the cut and fabric of the kilt. One can see that it took some effort to put this together. One thing I would edit would be the "coins" on the messenger bag flap- they seem a little belly-dancerish to me. Jorge from WPB

This man clearly knows who he is and cheers to him!

Blogger doreen wang said ... (1:20 PM) :

perfect example of unending marriage between courage and fashion!

Blogger paranoid eyes said ... (1:26 PM) :

amazing, wonder if those trousers are for women as well...

Blogger CW said ... (1:28 PM) :

A combination of gangsta low rise with ambisexual style. It looks like this person has layered a skirt made from a man's trousers over clamdigger/capri pants. Felt sandals and black socks complete a look that I can only say is unique - Thank God!

This look does absolutely nothing for male or female or any other gender.

Blogger Lola Giménez said ... (1:28 PM) :

is he wearing a skirt?

Blogger Susan said ... (1:29 PM) :

Very interesting pieces. It's very futuristic and cool! Loves it!

That's very brave... like the man bag though.

Blogger Stefan said ... (1:30 PM) :

A monochromatic adventure in texture and construction.

Great capture

Anonymous Marina said ... (1:34 PM) :

It´s weird; but it seems to contain a very interesting man.

Blogger FIN said ... (1:36 PM) :

Alarmingly cool!

Blogger FIN said ... (1:37 PM) :

Alarmingly cool!

Blogger the nickel fit said ... (1:42 PM) :

Too manicured and matched. I want a sense of uncomfort and slight juxtaposition. That's where the human spark and fashion lies.

Blogger Mika Lins said ... (1:50 PM) :

Chic!

Blogger Joey said ... (1:50 PM) :

undercover bag and shoes are so amazing.

Anonymous Lilisfashion said ... (3:04 PM) :

What a fantastic person, I want to meet him

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:05 PM) :

wish we could tell if it was one lower garment or two. shiny oxfords would have given an interesting authority to this very brave item.

Anonymous Libby K said ... (3:15 PM) :

It's puzzling. The choices are carefully made with a subdued palate and a subtle mix of textures--the menswear fabric, the felt shoes, the dark metal coins on the bag. Nothing screams, "Look at me!" But somehow all together the look will inevitably attract attention.

Blogger Alicja said ... (3:24 PM) :

Looks very nice, I like combination of grey colours with original trousers and bag.

Anonymous JDi said ... (3:40 PM) :

I realy like that style, but i have to say: I live in Germany next to the border to France and not so far from Paris but it is pretty cold here and he must be realy though to wear that in mid of november.

Anonymous Tobias Sweden said ... (3:40 PM) :

I want his bag.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:07 PM) :

Yes, we need a frontal view and: Where does the bag come from?

Anonymous The Fabulous Ru said ... (4:16 PM) :

I wish there was an additional front view too! Ever since Marc Jacobs started wearing the man skirts a little bit ago my interest kind of grew. Does anyone know who makes this particular skirt? I need to do research. lol

Blogger sofiasophie said ... (4:30 PM) :

the bag is gorgeous!

Blogger Hardy.Originals said ... (4:31 PM) :

What a fantastic combination of textures... brave, bold and brilliantly youthful look.
I wish i was able to wake up and look futuristic and fresh some times. I am going to work my way up to a mens skirt; but first i have to get felted shoes... just don't see enough felted shoes around.

Anonymous Katalina said ... (4:42 PM) :

I guess the bag is self-personalised. Looks great.

Blogger Lorena said ... (4:54 PM) :

I really like this, it all goes together really well. I'd love to see it from the front too.

Well, he gets an A for bravery but I can't say I find it appealing - not for him or anybody.
Colours are great.

wow! that definitely takes some guts to pull off! great pic :)

Blogger louise or valentine said ... (5:32 PM) :

experimental mens wear is sort of my favorite thing ever. also, the title of this and the outfit kind of reminds me of ravoli. which is also great.
i love this so much.

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:43 PM) :

Definitely not for the masculine man, but some great use of silhouette, monochromatic items, and texture. Only in Paris.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:53 PM) :

whatever it is he's doing, he's thought about it.

Anonymous Bob Mack said ... (6:47 PM) :

The grey bottom piece is certainly interesting, but it doesn't seem flattering. How were the other pedestrians responding to this man?

..Does anyone have more information as to what that piece of clothing is called, and who made it?

Blogger JP said ... (6:49 PM) :

Interesting....

Blogger Forest City Fashionista said ... (6:53 PM) :

Would love to see a front view of this outfit, but I'm loving what I see from the back. The shades of grey, the shoes, and the kilt/skirt scream "Cool"!

Anonymous wonger said ... (3:42 PM) :

Jean-Paul Gaultier would be very happy.

As he once said in passing to a male acquaintance of mine who was wearing a kilt and had no idea who he was: " Skirts on men! That's a VERY good idea!"

Blogger Alida said ... (6:48 PM) :

Reminds me of my catholic school uniform.I pretty much feel the same way about this as I did about my uniform:)

Blogger Robyn said ... (9:20 PM) :

Now who doesn't love a man in a skirt?

A guy at my school last year used to wear kilts at least once a week. It was brilliant!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:57 PM) :

meh... I guess I'm old fashioned but I think clothes should accentuate the wearer's figure, not butcher it. If he was wearing normal pants it would look much better.
