Comments on "On the Street.... Outside the Barbieri, Milan"
H.O.T.
He could be wearing a sack and he'd look good. The whole knee showing is a good look.
the curse of the skinny jeans strikes again! how many seconds until he had to hike them up again? :)
so HOT! love his hair, cuffed skinny jeans and he even makes the ugly shoes work!
I like this.. the outfit really comes together in a nonchalant, laid back, punk kind of way.
I love the details in the photo too... the graffiti adds a nice touch. Great lighting.
I really like those shoes.. definitely non-conformist.. I want them.
Bonjour Tristesse!
I like this!
Great hair!
he is beautiful
BUFF!
I feel like he's from a movie beacause he seems so richly in character and beautiful.
Also, I like your style of "reporting" in that you post an obviously interesting picture, with no objective comment and let the readers draw conclusions. It puts your work in the spotlight.
oh my GOD
Flats for men need to be made more often!
CLASSIC ....love it
What a gorgeous man! Great shot, and gotta love a man who wears espadrilles. Wonder what size shoe he wears because he looks like he has big feet (as do I)and most espadrilles run to the smaller sizes. I'll even overlook the enormous hole in the jeans knee.
What a great look! Love the jeans.
everything about this photo is perfect, the rips in his jeans, his tan, his bike, and the setting.
nice job!
Oh la la... il est tres beau! love it so much!:)
love the espadrilles. i think the u.s. needs to get men on espadrilles next summer

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
hes hott!!! love the blatantly ripped pants.
Nice casual outfit, the jeans look good on him.
I love the blue torn denim , the bicycle , the shoes ... Style concentrate !
Who knew holey jeans could look so good!?:)
Cool hair!
Torn jeans, but preppy torn jeans. Kind of defeats any rebellious message of the torn jeans and just makes it a bland fashion.
ohh so charming!!!!
suuuuch a good look
amazing and makes me feel like summmerrrrr
em

Forget the jeans, forget the bike: this guy is GORGEOUS
WUUURRRRQQQQ it
italian interpretation of American style.
love the alpargatas!
like.. what? beauty.
Great shot! I want to be right there, on my bike, wearing my holey jeans and Toms..I love this capture!!!
I NEED to go to Milan. Pronto.
http://harriette-forthedreamers.blogspot.com
Sometimes i wish that i could live in Milan! Ha ha .
Nice style, and so tanned!
Arguably one of the most handsome young men to grace your photoblog... a model, I assume? (If so, an i.d., anyone?)
great photo, there's something very lively about it. i love it.
Where can I find one like this is Canada?
You people now know where to find this barber and get your haircut! :D
Wow, I want his jeans!
Ah - to be young and beautiful. He looks like a man in his prime. Love it.
Great photo! Love the denim teamed with the flats - nice!

Clean nice simple look.
Memorie milanesi, I'm feeling nostalgic: I used to live just in front of that shop!
marry me?
Love the shoes.
So effortlessly cool. Reminds me of that old film-- The Outsiders :)
Nice :)
I don't get it....ripped jeans and sagging jeans . I do like the jeans if it didn't have any holes on it.
Agree with Anon about excessive display of jean hiking everywhere.
However, he's smart (or oblivious) enough to use slim cuffs, and candid enough to not spoil this great look with accessories, save bike.
Every city has its 9th Ave :)
He's exuding a wonderful, laid back, "cooltitude."
okay, I want him for Christmas.
He is really beautiful. Very graceful, his eyes just grab you.
wow! My future husband.
Cheekbones like this can get away with almost anything! That said, the whole look is surprisingly chic, from the nice side part in his hair to the slightly-worn espadrilles. And who doesn't love an old-skool bike?
Was I the one who posted ripped jeans look passe'? Forget about it, this kid just reinvigorated the look. He's casually confident and the setting is top notch.
Sooo soo handsome. Please do tell him to come visit me in los angeles. Such a well executed casual day look, love it, love him.
he has awesome hairs and his style is great, he can wear anything he want
Reminds me of the "Long Hot Summer" video by The Style Council. Great look...
hottie
TOMS? i want the new botas
http://joshtengan.blogspot.com/
this makes me miss italy! love this look...
If anyone is still wondering how the skinny cuffed jeans look started well this photo spells it out.
Hmm, form following function??
He is painfully handsome!
Yum o'clock.
...
!!!
what is special about this look? I see at least one attractive male wear a version of this (alternate colors of the Toms or logo tee) every day.
but damn he's fine.
I love how he looks like a real person. He isn't (doesn't look like, rather) someone who works in fashion. He's just a guy who happens to know whats going on with clothes.
What I'm really drawn to here is the shoes. But they don't look like they'd be very comfortable?
He looks amazing, very casual and oh so stylish.
http://london-copenhagen.blogspot.com/
nice jeans
I like it !!!
Cool :)
hello, hello. why don't we have boys like this in Chicago?
So photogenic...absolutely gorgeous...
I looked that shoes at Capri this summer! great
embodiment of hotness
I need to lie down
I like this....
first comment on this blogsite:
just discovered this site yesterday and it's amazing how people seem to appreciate men's fashion nowadays without being too sissy about it. Kudos!
Simple. Chic. He exudes style, that kind of style that whether you have it or you don't. You cannot get it.
simple bliss. I'm italian and I usually wear white espadrillas at home too ;)
Beautiful shot!
xx
Espadrilles on men = super sexy
What a beautiful man!
A fantastic look, love everything about it, especially the shoes.
About those shoes... I think they are Tom's and every time you buy a pair of shoes he donates a pair for free to a child in need. In developing countries walking is the main mode of transportation and most kids go barefoot. They risk injury, disease, are not allowed in school barfoot, and perhaps any future livelihood they may have without shoes.
Please if you want this look help a child, buy your shoes at Tom's. FYI, I have no affiliation with Tom's whatsoever, nor have I ever. I am just charitable.

Awesome. I love this, your article so interesting. Thank you for sharing.
He is cool with a vintage vibe - must be the hair or the ripped jeans!!
En espadrilles
On fait du vélo
On danse le disco
Et bye bye boulot!
:o)
È un bell'uomo :-)
He looks so handsome!
He is an "indie milanese" type!!!
I saw plenty of those in Milan last week :)
Epitome of cool.
He's yummy
Yes.
Hmm, perhaps more than any other picture recently on this blog, this guy is just going on his good looks. The clothes are nothing special (I like ripped jeans but that hole-in-knee is too much even for me), it's just the "I"m young and ridiculously hot" thing that catches you.
Energie
hot hot hot
God bless i ragazzi italiani!!
The hole on the jeans is a little too big, but he still looks amazingly cool and great!
http://mushitushi.blogspot.com
You have been finding the most gorgeous men......great shot/style/...relaxed pose of all of them and this just beautiful....thanks...L
how charminngg. espadrilles look so good on men!
CUTIE + BIKE = LOVE
www.FashionSnag.com
ahhhhh!!!!! your best pic ever as far as i am concerned.
pushing androgyny so inoffensively
This photo would have been even better with a classic bike, but still a good one..
With those ripped jeans and weird flats, he needs messier hair. Just looks a tad TOO contrived. The shirt is boring. The ensemble just ain't doing it for me. Nice looking kid, though.
His shoes are ALPARGATAS. Their origin is Argentina...great twist to the look
HOT (though he loosk a bit tired)
Thanks for sharing ;)
This guy could wear anything and look good. Great picture though
Very nonchalant! Just awesome!
the shoes are espadrilles from spain, not toms! i have like 5 pairs in every color!! they are amazing, super cheap, and last forever!
Good looking lad. Wonder what he's waiting for? Daddie Milano?
love the TOMS
Sigh... great pic. Looks so much like my ex-husband - too bad! But a very typical look of the italian youth in milan.
absolutely nothing particular about this image. you guys are pathetic suckers for IMAGE, the surface of things. lose yourself
Effortless and cool!
Delicious!
love the torn jeans. hott.
The Shoes ...
They are i believe called "Giveh" it is quit popular these days..
you can see them worn by hooman majd
http://men.style.com/gq/blogs/styleguy/2009/06/index.html

Definetely a winter look...
I can't stand anymore, in Ticinese everyone looks like him.
mm.. i like him.
lovely photo.
LOVE the hair!
hot. love the ripped jeans.
fashionstolemyheart@blogspot.com
I have those shoes the same ones, I used to wear it with a very short whyte egg, trousers of RL, and a camel militar T-shirt of RL, In spain those shoes are used for a long time for old people, I think is the same in all the mediterranean.
Good photo
WOW, he's so good looking! Effortless style too!
Cool!
Yes, it is absolutely yum o'clock and flats for men do INDEED need to be produced more often.

This handsome young man is the right age to wear artfully ripped jeans. Several years ago I bought a (less revealing) pair on sale, wore them once, and realized that I looked pathetic rather tan hip in such youthful garb. I then donated them to charity, hoping that Goodwill Industries had some fashion-forward customers!
Hip and chic without trying to be.
Tu me encanta!
The perfect twink!
why... HELLO!
che bello!! the clothes are nice too ;)
i see this outfit in Prahran every day but he is particularly dreamy. DO WANT.
those of you commenting on the shoes.. TOMS.com
epitome of t-shirt and jeans hotness
His shoes are alpargatas, as a couple of people have previously mentioned. The founder of Toms got his "idea" for the shoes from visiting Argentina and deciding to market them. They are traditional Argentine shoes (worn by gauchos) and quite inexpensive. They are also very popular in Argentina (for both males and females). I personally love them, but the ones with a jute sole don't hold up too well. There are also alpargatas with rubber soles that last longer...Just wanted to put in my two cents :)
beautiful. but he knows it, which takes away from the whole feel.
If I ever wear those shoes someone shoot me.
These shoes originate from centuries ago, from the country folks in the Pyrenees which separate Spain from France, thus their presence in the mediteranean area and South Am. (many Basques emigrated to Argentina for ex. as sheephearders).
he is nmy classmate in Istuto di moda burgo! he studies fashion design. always impecccably dressed!
ah, sooo italian. the look is actually really 1950's. it's so easy to imagine him sitting on a dock with his legs dangling over the sea, in an old photograph. just if you took the print off his shirt.
oh and he's so beautiful
they are so lucky it doesn't get so cold there.
what a beautiful man! his items are so fashion-consious. graphic tee + ripped skinny jeans + preppy loafers = hot.
Gorgeous. A casual cute look that says he doesn't care but yet you can tell he kind of does. Love it. And the shoes make this look perfect.
the espadrilles remind me of my childhood. I like the shot but the clothing is not remarkable. it is the guy himself who is remarkable
perfect shoes!
xoxo from France

So hot we need guys like this on America ;) love that style

Destroyed jeans really aren't my thing, but he pulls them off so well. Also, it's good to see espadrilles. An outfit perfect for both his atmosphere, and his attitude.
'kay...
What a hot, gorgeous man! Love the rip in the jeans. It goes to show that you can have good style just being yourself, being confident, and knowing what to wear.
TANTA ROBA!
I love/want him.
Nice bike. This pic is post-dated, surely... It's never this warm here in Italy.
Just found my husband....
MY MAN! come to norway, s'il vous plaît!
Toooooooooo hot!!
He looks cool and chill but something tells me hes a complicated fashion diva and the bike is just an accessory.
:(
very korean! extremely korean! the guys over here have been doing this for years!
un altro bello.
the perfect reason for an italian weekend!
He's not a model, he's a guy I know, he's just a student and he doesn't know how beautiful he is.
The baby turn ups make it! Clever

Nice espadrilles !
I LOVE HIM
Oh my god, he is hot -- and the photo itself is gorgeous! Does anyone else get a slight James-Dean-ish vibe from this image? (Other commenters are right, though; this guy could wear a paper bag and still be stunning...)
I love that picture! he has something from an old italian 60's movie. and I love guys wearing those shoes - very sexy! and you can have them in every color, so cheap, three euros.
gorgeous.
love this style...
Om nom nom! Cute boy, nice hair.
White espadrille. Not cool. Never. Nowhere.
WOW!!!
He looks gorgeous
Great shot!
apargatas shoes!!!
boring. regular hipster look.
It's something I noticed travelling to Milan and Reggio Emilia : guys here can get along with outrageously detailed and sophisticated looks, prepped to the most effeminate detail (like a diamond in the ear) without being ridiculous one second. To me they are the paragon of style , over-sophisticated to the point they reach a natural. I'm so jealous!
guapo!!!
He's really easy on the eyes;)
http://sharifaknows.blogspot.com/
Really, Scott?
This looks like any college scenester in Austin, TX. Baggy T, worn cuffed skinnies, and Tom's shoes... Not exactly Sartorialist material.. C'mon!
he's the most beautifull boy that i ever saw
what a patoot<33 ehe ere
we dun have stylish AND handsome guys like that in Singapore! ;P
it seems so timeless yet so up to date, yet timeless
he looks so chic, and yummy too!
it seems he took ages to get ready in the morning, not really his style.
beautiful and casual...
like the ripped jeans!
he is gorgeous; but the shoes i find so interesting...the jeans reminds me of a 1950's look for men.
He looks so hot and beautiful !
the italians have style
It hurts. That is how beautiful he is...
oh hot damn. introduce me? :) we even have matching espadrilles!
We would be perfect together, I can assure you.
Your blog is magnificent, awe inspiring, and I would love to travel around the world like you to meet great people! (although I'd make sure try to offset my carbon emissions because I'd feel a burden on my soul if I didn't).
Merry Christmas!
i'ts getting hot in here,
so take off all your clothes
...the only lyrics that cames instantly on my mind( though I really don't apreciate this music)
Sorry to say this ...but he looks a little bit too feminine
