Comments on "On the Street....Tuileries, Paris"
i agree with.
i like his art of layering here and the colors of his outfit.
Comfy, casual, and chic all at the same time.... lovely
Excellent glasses. Well-worn style. Totally agreed on the colors. Makes me think of a lovely late Fall afternoon.
Maybe it's the bag which made me think it was a very masculine woman at first glance, instead of seeing the gentleman.
I love these colours, as a woman that's how I usually (try to) look like.
I am a total fan of these glasses!
I usually don't like shirts sticking out at the bottom of sweaters, but this looks great. Amazingly photographed as always.
wait a second.. i am confused. (the second glance)
Great. Really autumnal.
my style to the tee! only thing missing is wild all over
the head locs.
The sophisticate is an intellectual as well!
I agree about the colors. They work so well together, like on a wild duck.
He looks so intelligent!

Great photo, Sart! That's Sami Sykkö from the Finnish magazine Gloria!
What's interesting about this look is that, while the colors vary, the tones are the same . . . except for the light blue shirt, which provides a nice break and keeps the tone from being overwhelming. Very nice effect!
And I love Sami Sykkö!
yah. there are a lot of nice tonal things going on with this look. the browns and the dark green dominate -- then pow! you get the oxford blues peaking out.
Apparent simplicity, only apparent. Me too ... I like IT !!!
tres charmant
Oh, I love his style! He even has his own fashion blog in finland!
Ruhvana
Sami Sykkö!!
He's a Finnish editor, and well known journalist, very cool to see his picture here..
Lovely.
The richness and tones of color here are perfectly autumnal, casual and classic.
This is my inspiration for today!
Go Sami!
Love that tote bag!
Looking great!:) Although he should, I think he is Sami Sykkö, editor of a finnish design magazine Gloria. Well thought out colours. Me likey.
That's Sami Sykkö! He's a Finnish fashion journalist, this is where he blogs (unfortunately it's in Finnish :D): http://blogit.hs.fi/tyyli/
I agree! He is Sami Sykkö, Finnish style expert.
Samiko se on?
I absolutely love the colors in this! Perfect for beckoning autumn.

A+ on androgyny.
Sami Sykkö!! great, you look good.
mukava asu!
That's Sami Sykkö - wuhuu! He's the new editor-in-chief of Gloria Magazine in Finland. Lovely chap!
I agree the colors flow pefectly together. Great for fall! also ...very cool glasses!
Colors remind me of Romeo Gigli's work.
yep, the Finnish editor in chief of a fashion mag.. nothing too impressive, but you can never go wrong with a clean cut classic look, now can you?
He's so adorable! Like a true beatnik...

I love how the colors go from darker on top and transition towards lighter colors at the bottom. Wonderful.

all the colors really go together for a great fall look!

Hmmmm, am I the only one who was unsure if this was a man or a woman?
When Andy warhol meets Harry Potter :) adorable :)
love the colors palette and the layering. classy yet comfy.

love it too!
This look is exactly what I'm looking for this winter: beautiful colours, delicate combination of fabrics and textures, and classic feeling.
Love it!
i really like the simplicity of his outfit, and the way the colors match. its so perfect. Even the purple tote looks wonderful!!! haaaaaa winter!!
LOVE IT!!!!!
Everything is so LL Bean (in a good way) but the maroon bag.
i agree sart! it's a very effortless vibe, but at the same time well thought out...i love oxymoronic outfits! lol

I love the color combination. It is just right and still seems effortless enough.
I can't wait to see what this brand new editor-in chief will make of Gloria magazine.
Natural colours! Love the range of them too! Gorgeous glasses!
http://thegoorgeous.blogspot.com/
Some winte fashion perhaps?? It's gettin' cold dammit!
if mark wahlberg and andy warhol mated...
& those glasses are rad.
Another wonderful case of androgyny. Goes to show that great style is perhaps sexless.
Harry Potter chic.
like the layering.
So cooool! Way to go Sami!
It looks good, but his bag looks way too much likes a purse, and eliminated any masculinity he hoped for.
sami sykkö is one of my favorite finnish bloggers. he's such a style snob you gotta love him :D
A wonderful, savory palette.
nice automn layering....
Great understated style!
I think it was the hair that made me think for a second that this is a woman. Great colours, awesome glasses - I want them.
Nice glasses! My favorite brands: Tom Ford and Oliver's People
great, especially the haircut!!
he is exquisite
at first glance, thought it was a pic of Andy Warhol!
so, so good
love the scarf
Those glasses are brilliant! His look is so autumn-adorable!
very fall colours. and the French definitely know how to tie their scarves!
Every things just go right on him, event his healthy cheeks.
His layering is yummy.
Love the colors, they are perfect for Fall!

Great fall colors! I love the mahogany color of the bag.
I am just not sure that I really like this one...I like the color combinations used and the look but...I don't like how it is so hard to decide if that is a man or a woman, I'm just not a fan of that when it's so unclear
looking like a young andy warhol...troublant
Yes!
The color range is rich.
Very fall colors :)

remind me of the reader <3
I just love the whole look, and particularly, the way his scarf is just, so.
Such androgynous grace. Bravo!
I swear I was on a flight from Helsinki to Paris about three weeks ago. If not, this man has a double. If so, he has a definite style, as he was wearing a similar outfit in darker colors that day.
Brown and camel, or maybe camel and brown...then the blue of the scarf (teal?), add light blue for the shirt. Is that a black jacket? More brown for the bag. Fitted clothes and killer glasses...Great hairdo...
You can analize a look clinically, list the colors and the brands and think it is an easy thing to duplicate. Mais non! Personality is everything here, this guy IS what he is wearing! You can tell right away, the way he stands in life. He is confident. Where can one buy confidence?
Magnifique!

This fella looks like Wahlberg.
The whole look is fantastic. Love the glasses. Go Sami and Finland!
Love the look overall, though I do admit it took me a few seconds to realize this was a man. Especially like the way he's tied his scarf.
RC
ONE WORD...
MINGIN'
That's what I always say about paintings: To pull og lots of browns you need some blues
looks like an architect, even though he's not :)
lovely.
Very autumnal. The bag is great.
It all just looks kinda sloppy to me.
your range as far as taste in style is so wide.
All of this is so lovely. Perfection.
yes all tht brown, love it!
www.jetblackdye.blogspot.com
My sister & I met him at Fashion's Night Out. He was charming and we told him that we loved his glasses.
I love the casual and cool style. The colors are chosen brilliantly, soft and gentle.
And for all of you who don't know for sure: yes, it is a man. A boyish young man, Sami from Finland.
We love him!
love the glasses
That's quite a manbag.

Andy Warhol?
The range of fall colors would have grabbed me immediately if the light blue shirt had been white or cream. I'm not saying I don't like it, but it does add one more element, stealing the thunder from the wood/tree hues of all the rest.
love every bit of this!! most of the pieces seem very ordinary but when put together like this - WOW. that scarf looks so luxurious and extremely well made, a great staple in anyone's wardrobe. of course the fellow's features, frames and hair are so spot on with this look too, just perfect.
love the glasses and the layering of the clothes =D
Multiple textures, layers, and colors that all partner with each other. The eyewear give a since of intellectual sophistication to it all. The look is a smash hit and is not gender specific.
would love a tutorial on tying/wearing a scarf like that!
I like the colour combination, and his eyes. The look so connected to something.
The talented Mr. Ripley!!! Love it
WHOOT? This guy is a Finnish head-editor.
This is sooooo inspiring...!
Bravo!
I love the easyness, the confort, the weekend mood during the working day...
This is humble-chic
J.Naseiro
warhol-esque! <3
'love quotes' scarf
While I like the colors and the individual pieces, I find the overall androgynous effect to be a little dull and affected frankly.
I notice that there lately there have been quite a few entries where the feet/shoes are cropped out. I don't remember seeing this many shoe-less pictures....Are the shoes cropped out when they may ruin the look (i.e not as good as the rest of the outfit) or is the cropping done to not distract from a certain aspect of the shot? would love to know...
great and amazing as always. xoxo
He looks soooo comfortable.
comfort above anything else, I say.
he's a feminine man, but have to say stylish one!
If he was my son I would be very worry about...
c'est Mike Myers.
Lovely outfit. Ihana ihminen.
Is he a young man who looks old? Or, an old man trying to look young? I can't tell.
Mark Wahlberg?
