Do anyone know where that bag is from? x

Blogger Margaret Everton said ... (5:25 PM) :

Am I seeing right--navy with black accessories? Love the modernly classic combination.

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:31 PM) :

The coat is like a decorative wrap and the shoes are the exclamation point. This understated elegance is recession-proof.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:33 PM) :

Her legs !!

Blogger Chloé Mae said ... (5:36 PM) :

She's gorgeous, and so casual about it too...I just love how she stands out from the bright background of fall!

Blogger Nick Leonard said ... (5:37 PM) :

I love the golden trees behind her & the warming smile in the second shot.

Blogger X said ... (5:38 PM) :

The autumn leaves and just beautiful. The lady is too.

I remember this lady from other photos of yours... Grate style. So elegant.

She styling! Killing them with those shoes.

divine!

Blogger Fezinha said ... (6:07 PM) :

Wow! Great legs. And she seem so comfortable. This is what I like the most: when you feel comfortable, you seem to be very secure of your own style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:22 PM) :

Perfect time for me to see this photo. I was thinking about selling my black Kelly but I am inspired once again. Now I just need some fierce heels to freshen up my look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:27 PM) :

To the above poster...the bag is an Hermes Kelly Bag. :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:29 PM) :

I love the genuine smile-very beautiful!

Blogger FASHION SNAG said ... (6:35 PM) :

This woman looks wonderful! I love the classic clothing and bag (plus stud earrings and double-wrap watch), with the surprise of the edgier, trendy shoe. While I love looking at photographs of fashion types captured out and about during the shows, sometimes, even when they look great, they're also so up-to-the-minute that they're sort of...fashion victimy. (Gio is an exception! As is this lady.)

This picture is inspirational for us mere mortals: It suggests a way to mix one fantastic, trendy item with things we already have. The magazines are always telling us to do this, but they can never SHOW us how to do it, because they always have to feature trendy new clothes to attract advertising. It's great to see an example of classic style that also looks modern and nonstuffy. Plus -- killer stems never hurt!!

Blogger .::Tuttie::. said ... (6:43 PM) :

her style is simple and confident LOVE IT. Oh, and i love those shoes. She makes it seem so effortless.

Anonymous JP said ... (7:07 PM) :

I love those shoes!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:07 PM) :

She looks elegant & effortless. I'm assuming most of it has to do with her personality shining through.
Perfect.

Absolutely beautiful pictures! Awesome shoes, classic outfit, and beautiful woman! (Especially her smile.) And the background is excellent as well.

Blogger Michael said ... (7:48 PM) :

I loove the first photo!

Anonymous olafgermany said ... (8:18 PM) :

Oh, it's fall in Paris...romantic. And her blue dress is quiet nice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:25 PM) :

I love the comfy sophistication of the vestements with the krazy sexy chaussures! Does anyone else find this a liberating, newer trend of the aughts in women's fashion - that extremely hot shoes can be worn with nearly any outfit? -SS Portland, OR

Anonymous chin noir said ... (9:07 PM) :

what a well dressed lady. does she work in fashion?

Anonymous Style Odyssey said ... (9:09 PM) :

she looks lovely, classy.
i have those dior "sex and the city" shoes in black- my favorite pair! i like how she wears hers here with something simple- makes the shoes really stand out.

Anonymous greendress said ... (9:36 PM) :

I love her outfit: blue on blue that's comfortable and loose. I have hated almost all takes on the bondage shoes but this looks sexy and beautiful. Inspiring sartorialist!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 PM) :

I love it. It's very classic, but the shoes really kick it up a notch.

Blogger Lolitta said ... (10:09 PM) :

Those legs stand out more than anything...lucky gal!

The shoes win for me!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:40 PM) :

Blogger Honeybunches of Roses said ... (11:06 PM) :

I think I own a pair of those same shoes :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:35 AM) :

the shoes are great...but her smile's the best! :) beautiful woman!

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (12:39 AM) :

Lovely. Chic. I can see why you couldn't select just one picture.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (2:28 AM) :

Ah! I have those same exact shoes!!! Love how she paired with the elegant classic & almost office-like outfit!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:07 AM) :

Such serenity in this woman! It goes in pair with her styling...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:07 AM) :

What an enchanting smile.
Giulia

Anonymous AnonymousJK said ... (9:43 AM) :

Sorry to say, but I find most fashionistas icy and somewhat snooty. This woman however; appears to be the total opposite of that.. Her smile is so inviting even though initially one might think: snob! I like this pic a lot...

Anonymous garciamadrid said ... (10:26 AM) :

very nice smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:57 AM) :

Yes, many have made the same points I would, but she is an example of classic but modern. The shoes need the quietness of everything else to strut their stuff and she's got it down. I'm glad you had two photos so we can see how beautiful her smile is in the second while showing her cool in the first. A favorite set of pics, for sure.

Anonymous Eleonora said ... (11:23 AM) :

I love her, I hate the shoes.

Maybe it is because I don't follow fashion so much.

But I like this blog because the pictures are inspiring.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (12:16 PM) :

Great series of pics, Scott.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:11 PM) :

looove her sweet smile :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:40 PM) :

these photos are incredible, please check out my blog http://blog-isthenewblack.blogspot.com xoxox

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:56 PM) :

Quite frankly, I find the combination of her friendly smile, wonderful legs and high heels extremely erotic..

Anonymous princess glee said ... (5:09 PM) :

Love that she took off the dark glasses and smiled for the pic. I would've done the sane. Anybody find it hard to talk to or connect with people while wearing dark glasses?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:16 PM) :

Gorgeous! Head to toe....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:08 PM) :

I LOVE HER SHOES!

Blogger Markmont said ... (12:10 AM) :

This is just too plain to me. Plus brown shoes mixed with black purse mixed with black bracelets? I can't get down with that.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:02 AM) :

Très charmant!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:29 AM) :

Nice shoes

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:02 PM) :

What a lovely smile!

Blogger Donnie Gayfield said ... (4:00 AM) :

Beautiful legs. She also projects a gentle spirit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:19 AM) :

Shala Monroque. Lovely legs

Anonymous Jamie said ... (4:42 PM) :

Amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:17 PM) :

Anonymous Invincible said ... (3:02 AM) :

nice background

Blogger Austyn said ... (4:36 PM) :

Have you photographed her before? She looks so familiar but I can't remember what I have seen her in.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:14 AM) :

shala.....werq it girl !!!

Blogger Kevin Cashman said ... (5:41 PM) :

Even though it is more posed, I like the second shot much better.
The smile and pose are way more attractive, relaxed and inviting.
Plus I am developing a peeve about people texting. There is something about fashion and style that has to do with the present moment in a particular space that texting does not participate in.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:32 AM) :

nice shoes/bag/sunglasses, watch and coat...but the shoes are the first thing i noticed...so fierce with a classic outfit..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:38 PM) :

wohoa is that a smile?

Anonymous GEOFFREY said ... (3:29 PM) :

Shala is soooo stunning. More Shala. More Nicola. More Genevieve. Please!

Anonymous That Hat Lady said ... (10:05 PM) :

I believe those are the Dior Extreme sandals. I have a good leather knock off of that style.

Blogger ♡ The Paint Ghost ♡ said ... (11:30 AM) :

I LOVE Shala Monroque. She is my fashion inspiration!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:11 PM) :

This woman's elegance does not come from her clothes. It comes from within... You either have it, or you don't...
She would look equally chic in a burlap sack. And that's my two cents!
