Love her dress, bag and little cardigan and even the colour of her shoes, I just can't stand the toe thing. why make your feet look like pigs' trotters? albeit gold pigs' trotters.

Anonymous AnaPt said ... (5:18 PM) :

The bag and the shoes =/

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (5:32 PM) :

So effortless and gorgeous! Those almost-tabi ballet flats are quite cute!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:44 PM) :

I like the LV bag and the wardrobe.....the shoes are quite contrasting ( which i like)....but please lady...don't step on a stone...they have no frigggin soles!.....ouch.

Blogger Nick Leonard said ... (5:49 PM) :

She has a beautiful face. I love the way she is standing.

Blogger Madison Whitney said ... (5:49 PM) :

She seems completely oblivious.

Blogger Frazoa, Filipa said ... (5:58 PM) :

funny shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:01 PM) :

oh boy, why would anybody VOLUNTARILY wear those shoes???

Anonymous desertwind said ... (6:01 PM) :

Yay! She's back.

I've missed her.

Blogger nanna Munnecke Barlby said ... (6:01 PM) :

I miss summer, Paris and having time to lean pause and pose.

Anonymous Jasmin said ... (6:02 PM) :

She is beautiful! And I love her shoes - I have been obsessed with these hoof shoes since I visited Goa in 2005. All the hippies there were wearing them and I thought hey were really fun.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:04 PM) :

What is up with her shoes? They make her towes look funny.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:05 PM) :

I love tabi shoes! Never seen gold ones before.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:05 PM) :

Beautiful. Love the dress straps, love the gold shoes. Interesting toes.

Anonymous tomorrows inspiration said ... (6:06 PM) :

Very wistful. Not sure about the camel toe shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:06 PM) :

Cute dress. Are the shoes kosher?

Anonymous Modamona said ... (6:12 PM) :

Gorgeous! ^^

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:20 PM) :

i remember this girl from paris fw 08! love her, and her look. she is a photographer, non?

Blogger hardly cre8eve said ... (6:21 PM) :

beautiful dress, and the Maison Martin Margiela ligne 22 flats look awesome on her feet!

Anonymous Alexandra said ... (6:26 PM) :

Love the shoes. Her name means king in portuguese.

Blogger Fezinha said ... (6:29 PM) :

This shoes make me nervous....can't stand it!

Beautiful dress though

Blogger adelineandmimi said ... (6:37 PM) :

Love the bag, and her poise captured by the picture but cannot stand the "camel toe" type shoes! Love the colour of the shoes though...

www.adelineandmimi.blogspot.com

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:37 PM) :

There is something about the shoes that makes me uncomfortable. Perhaps some "repressed" feeling?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:46 PM) :

Beautiful dress. But the shoes are not that attractive. Also, are those bra straps showing? Maybe she should wear a strapless bra with that dress. Or go without!

Blogger Singapore Short Stories said ... (6:59 PM) :

I must say the lady looks real classical amidst the backdrop!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:10 PM) :

Cute girl but I wish she'd been caught smiling. Don't like the shoes.

Blogger the goorgeous said ... (7:21 PM) :

the shoes are so worn..but still cute! lovely dress!

Anonymous The Photodiarist said ... (7:40 PM) :

Love the look. Are those flats by Margiela, I wonder?

Anonymous Style Odyssey said ... (7:40 PM) :

cute, fresh.
the tabi shoes are an fun, unexpected touch. obviously they're a bit tongue-in-cheek, ie., weird footwear worn by those who don't take themselves too seriously. i like that!

Anonymous Oonagh said ... (8:43 PM) :

The shoes look great on her, the gold really works. Nice dress.
Like her wistful expression too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:57 PM) :

The camel toe shoes are on the same level as Crocs in my book.

Anonymous Holly said ... (9:27 PM) :

Uniqua if your weird I am too! those shoes are far out there...they're a first for me. I love her tote madly!

Anonymous donna said ... (9:35 PM) :

those shoes,,,why????

Blogger Tailoverteakettle said ... (9:55 PM) :

The dress is pretty, but this look as a whole is just plain sloppy. Are those bra straps or part of the dress? Blegh.

Anonymous Cecylia said ... (10:24 PM) :

I am in love with those gold ninja style ballet flats! Where did she get them?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:38 PM) :

I'm totally confused by this post...to me there are several things wrong with this outfit. The bra straps ruin the dress, which I think is already a tad boring, and the shoes are terribly unflattering.

Can't get on board with this one, sorry!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:41 PM) :

Pretty and feminine but there is an awkward and alien quality to her pose and distant gaze which give this shot a haunting Diane Arbus feel. Good work Sart. More then ever you seem to be transcending fashion while capturing it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:43 PM) :

LOVE the dress, but those shoes! This isn't the first time I've seen shoes with that kind of toe, and I just can't understand why anyone would want their feet to look like that.

Anonymous FASH said ... (11:29 PM) :

the flats look so comfy..

http://www.joandjoenyc.com {shop}

Anonymous John said ... (1:10 AM) :

The shoes are great, no doubt inspired by the split toe shoes that the Japanese wore centuries ago (and are still worn if you tend to rice paddies and the like).

She has her own site: http://reishito.com/

(I don't know her, but I am a fan!)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:19 AM) :

can see the bra straps so clearly

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:48 AM) :

Love everything except for her peeking bra straps. Hideous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:42 AM) :

Love her dress, bag and little cardigan.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:44 AM) :

i dont like that she looks like a little girl

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:42 AM) :

the shoes are "irregular choice"

Blogger m. said ... (4:58 AM) :

look of the week.

Blogger Stjarna said ... (5:04 AM) :

Faboulous dress!!!
i want it!!
stjarna

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:16 AM) :

NINJA SHOES

Blogger Anastasia said ... (6:26 AM) :

love her dress, bag and pose but the shoes and that whole toe seperation going on is very weird!

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:12 AM) :

I love a patterned dress with a cardi but those shoes! I just don't get them! Call me boring but if those were regular gold ballet falts this would be perfect! love the pose!

Anonymous phyllis said ... (8:37 AM) :

Tabi shoes!I wonder if she ever wears them with tabi socks.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:52 AM) :

fabric of dress is incredible. love the gold shoe and light bag w/ dark cardigan and chunky bracelet. someone said she's oblivious. just for fun, i'd like to guess that she's very aware - see her foot turning? great shot.

Blogger Teresa @ good-grace said ... (9:41 AM) :

Adorable ... minus the shoes. (egad...)

Anonymous MaeKo said ... (9:45 AM) :

It's Rei! She is just simply the cutest thing in my book. Though I can't abide the camel shoes. I just don't know why.

Blogger Ola said ... (9:52 AM) :

I like everything despite her shoes!

Blogger Anna said ... (10:17 AM) :

The gold with the print dress is lovely.
I'm all for having fun with fashion and I know the MM flats are totally tongue in cheek, but I have to say...they just aren't flattering. Clever in their way, maybe. But why not make a similar statement by doing something that doesn't involve making one's feet direct references to a pig or a goat?

Blogger Flike said ... (11:01 AM) :

she's so pretty!

Blogger Serg Riva said ... (11:25 AM) :

It is the rolled ankle that makes this perfection. Had the second ankle been straight, then this would only be of interest. With the rolled ankle, it is a vision.

Anonymous maru said ... (11:36 AM) :

Rei is my favorite subject of yours. Glad to see her again.

She's also one of the few women on here who wears shoes that won't mangle her feet. She'll still be wearing them 30 years from now while the platform 4"-ers will be wearing orthopedics and having bunion surgery.

Anonymous Jennifer said ... (12:06 PM) :

Where can you get that bag? I need to have it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:28 PM) :

there's something about japanese women, they are just great, they have an unique sense of beauty!

Blogger weina said ... (4:22 PM) :

i love rei!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:32 PM) :

Forget those bunions and put on a smile.

Blogger Laurence John said ... (5:39 PM) :

she is the coolest.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:43 PM) :

I know that in Japan, they sell socks like how her shoes are. They're for the traditional thong-like shoes that goes with the traditional Japanese Yukata.

Anonymous Le 21ème said ... (1:54 AM) :

Margiela Ballets...soooo good! I love how "deviant" the MMM shoes make such an otherwise innocent girl appear. She is a doll!

Blogger AyaDnofrio said ... (8:30 AM) :

Oh beautiful shose!
It is MaisonMartinMargiela,is't it?

Anonymous Kristin said ... (9:22 PM) :

Cute!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:45 PM) :

She is pretty, and unlike many here, I have no problem with her shoes. But unless a girl is Madonna and exposing her bra on purpose, her bra straps really should not be showing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:58 AM) :

Really cool, what a beautiful face and frock.

Blogger elm479 said ... (10:06 AM) :

Hooftastic!

Blogger 吳宥鋅-ZN said ... (10:13 AM) :

nice dress~

Blogger AllAboutStyle said ... (11:48 AM) :

Interesting footwear;Unfortunately 'only' interesting, nothing more!

Blogger Lauren said ... (7:35 PM) :

those gold shoes are AMAZING. i'm trying to figure out how to DIY a pair out of my old shoes from ballet class. still not sure if it's possible, but i'm working on it...

Blogger Alvin Kevin Nanong said ... (9:10 PM) :

i am loving that print on her dress!

Blogger banglesshouldjangle said ... (11:50 PM) :

Adorable and chic, although I'm tired of this self-conscious inward-pointing toe position, seeen too often. If one is an adult, surely it's alright to carry oneself as such?!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:57 AM) :

i just can't stand those shoes even if they are gold and on a cute girl-no thank you

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:37 PM) :

she looks quite chic, but painfully thin.

Blogger Amber said ... (8:18 PM) :

It's her! There's something so beautiful about her...

Blogger eloise in berlin said ... (5:01 AM) :

oh lovely Margiela gold ballerinas - perfect touch to her individual look. YUM

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:16 PM) :

What is that shoes?Very nice!

Blogger Beverly. said ... (2:40 AM) :

I love the "attitude" that she radiates. Reminds me of Bette Davis.

Blogger Ebrea said ... (4:47 AM) :

i love the way the shoes complete her thin leg. i love them. :)

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:20 AM) :

She looks cute with her dress. But the shoes are weird...
