Would like to see his shoes....

Love the cig and the blue helmet... best accessories ever.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:38 PM) :

Love the military shirt!!

Anonymous Pablo said ... (1:41 PM) :

It's a perfect combination of colors, and I think the blue helmet it's an important part of this outfit.

Blogger The Redhead Riter said ... (1:42 PM) :

I love that blue shirt!

Blogger luckybastard said ... (1:46 PM) :

AMAZING PICTURE. looks so natural...

Blogger Rackk and Ruin said ... (1:47 PM) :

this guy's glasses totally make the look. . .

Anonymous Lisa Bruckner said ... (1:50 PM) :

What a juxtoposition! Bookish frames, scruffy hair; military jacket, white chinos; teal blue helmet and french blue conservative oxford shirt; gold necklace, black leather necklace;...if only we could see his shoes! I wouldn't be surprised if he was wearing one black military boot and one brown penny loafer. ;) What I love the most...his look works!

Blogger Couture Coco said ... (1:51 PM) :

Love the colours together - so fresh but the khaki keeps it a little hard.
Lose the ciggy please!

Another take on the M-65 jacket / white pants combo.
cool braided bracelet.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:54 PM) :

I like the sense of movement in the photo and the serious expression contrasts with the light and casual colours.

Blogger The Chukker said ... (2:13 PM) :

This is the way men with style and attitude age in Italy. Being over 40 doesn't mean you have to be boring looking...also it doesn't mean you should wear teenager t-shirts and shorts!!! There is a balance.
This gent is cool and it is not trying too hard to tell the world what he is. Remember, be yourself and dress accordingly!

Blogger Niamh Roisin said ... (2:15 PM) :

Just the most gorgeous man I've ever seen! Beautiful colours

Blogger Kwil said ... (2:16 PM) :

Sexy man. It's a shame he smokes! Ick.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:29 PM) :

perfect. love it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:38 PM) :

Amazing and fresh:))

Anonymous Luke H. said ... (2:39 PM) :

I love the jacket and the shirt with the white contrast of his chinos. I just picked up a nice blue shirt and a military style jacket myself but I didn't really think of combining the two until this shot. Great look!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:43 PM) :

the braclet on his arm means he is a sailor. and he is smoldering.

Blogger Anita Puksic said ... (2:49 PM) :

I'm in love with his helmet!

Peace and love!

Blogger Paul Kierstead said ... (2:55 PM) :

For some odd reason, this looks so much like Robert De Niro, younger and stylish.

Great look.

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (3:04 PM) :

Mr. Hotness.

I hope that's just weird color skewing and not lots of self-tanning cream. He'd be even hotter without it.

Is Milan THE place on earth, or does this site just make it seem so?

Anonymous Paolo Convertito Blasio said ... (3:20 PM) :

nice jacket and nice bracelet!!

Anonymous Holly said ... (3:32 PM) :

Wow! There's something about his rugged look that I like and the blue helmet rocks!!!

Anonymous suzanne nelson said ... (3:36 PM) :

Wow, SO good! Today's lesson - how he's taken one quite ordinary military surplus store jacket and made look so hot ! Brilliantly captured, too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:53 PM) :

am i the only one who finds this mature scruffy man a tad bit hot??

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:03 PM) :

Uahu! I think is one of your best shots ever! There's something about this picture that makes him look like the hottest man on earth!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:03 PM) :

which professional model is it this time?

Blogger {natale} said ... (4:04 PM) :

have to agree with everyone else - the grey-green with the blue is fantastic

even love the rope bracelet on his hand

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:18 PM) :

i hope my husband looks like this when he ages.... hot man!

and what is the purple rope around his wrist? is it part of the sleeves or is it a bracelette?

Blogger We will fight on the beaches.... said ... (4:34 PM) :

Its a real cool look, the cig even mathces his chinos and tan! The jacket is a great length, but 'caus it is so well fitted it must be quite restricting with the long sleeve of his shirt underneath. Not ideal for scooting around.

Blogger Pixel Face said ... (5:06 PM) :

I think he looks fun...like Peter Sellers.

Anonymous Alessandro said ... (5:09 PM) :

Why I like this look so much - precisely the combination of military green with light blue - that I recently bought myself (before I saw the photo) a very nice military style utility jacket from J-Crew. As for shoes, he's probably wearing desert boots, Clarke's or something similar

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:16 PM) :

wonderful intensity in expression and colors--great great picture!~

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:20 PM) :

I love the helmet most of all.

Blogger Unknown said ... (6:11 PM) :

more like military affect

Anonymous sanmiguelense said ... (6:23 PM) :

If he's wearing Clark's then I know that he's my long lost masculine counterpart. I really love that French New Wave director look...

Anonymous olafgermany said ... (7:15 PM) :

I am german, is he german as well ? I am a non smoker, but I like shots of smoking people.

Anonymous Joy Z said ... (7:39 PM) :

Reminds me of Michael Douglas...

Anonymous lady d said ... (7:46 PM) :

when I see this guy, I really don;t care about the clothes. he is GORGEOUS. pity he is married (if that thing on his finger is a wedding ring).

Blogger CW said ... (7:55 PM) :

The jacket is too small. This man should get the next larger size. Moreover, there is plenty of Italian military surplus on the market. There is no need to go with German surplus. - At least it wasn't East German surplus.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:26 PM) :

Its a Bundeswehr Jacket!

http://www.recon-company.com/BW_Moleskin_Feldjacke_Alte_Art_Repro-10923-1793-d.html

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:38 PM) :

im always blown away by other people's ingenuity, especially with colour! i don't often comment on photos, but the details in this one are amazing. the helmet just puts it over the top

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:04 PM) :

MEOOOOOOW! Red Rover, Red Rover, send this guy right over! SOOOOO nice to see him dressed with style and attitude, yet age appropriate. SoCAL men could learn a lesson on this one! YUMMMMMMMMMMY!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:40 PM) :

Why aren't there men like that in NYC? Of if there are, where are they? He's perfect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:33 PM) :

toda la onda

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:10 PM) :

Sexy combo with cig, khakis, leather bracelet and blue button down. He's got it!

Blogger steph said ... (1:09 AM) :

I am definitely flustered by this older dirty boy! Love the look!

Anonymous urbanmofo said ... (2:40 AM) :

one of best photos seen here... what a look! love the helmet.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:02 AM) :

finally! cigarettes are back!
makes him look far more rebellious, rough and unique.
way to go.

Blogger missy said ... (3:21 AM) :

ohh...he is gorgeous and married:)
he looks like Al Pacino, sportive version:) love that blue cap and everything in the outfit:)

Anonymous ursa jerkic said ... (4:03 AM) :

Pacino? All I see is Dustin Hoffman.

Blogger baza said ... (5:04 AM) :

That is a 70s/80s west German army jacket. They had a tailored cut and are made of moleskin. They came in dark olive but faded fast. One can find many copies of it but none matches the slim cut of the original. I don't like to wear it personally because I HAD TO wear it 15 months while learning bad things.

Blogger Emilie said ... (5:10 AM) :

Absolutely great outfit!

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:55 AM) :

This guy is definitely got the cool quotient. Good to see a cool, masculine, older guy. Something in his face reminds me of Dustin Hoffman, crossed with Steve McQuee. Style is more than trendy young things, fashion types, and older "gentlemen" in suits.

Blogger laweezil said ... (7:25 AM) :

i love this. Cool, nonchalant, sexy and not trying "too" hard. I think he's gorgeous too!

Blogger Holly said ... (7:27 AM) :

i want my daddy like this! (w/o the cig!)

Blogger Figueroa Linares said ... (8:03 AM) :

sooo hot!!!
and i LOVE those jackets.
thanx for pic!!

Blogger Gary K. said ... (10:20 AM) :

I'm glad to see a look I wear a lot validified by this guy. (I don't do the helmet, cig, or bracelet, though--that's how I roll!) I do wear very similar frames though, and I'm at least as old as this guy, maybe older. Like somebody above me says, growing old does not have to mean boring.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:27 AM) :

I love how his glasses frame his face very well. The blue and the white are a great combination on him and to top it off that jacket is so vintage looking.

Blogger Allen - East Hampton said ... (10:37 AM) :

This is a jacket I wouldn't mind owning. Thanks to the anonymous poster who ID'd the source.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:45 AM) :

Hot..hot..hotter !!!!!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:49 AM) :

I love the mix of colours! It is beautifull! One the best pictures you shoot is from Milan. I got go there!

Blogger Patrulla said ... (11:05 AM) :

The best of this pic is the cigarrete and the tanned skin : P

Blogger Paul Kierstead said ... (5:16 PM) :

Aha, Hoffman, that is it!!! I couldn't quite put my finger on it (and got it wrong up above), but Hoffman it is.

I still come back to this one, awesome look.

Blogger An Unsung Hero said ... (5:50 PM) :

Anonymous www.ad-lips.com said ... (7:49 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:34 AM) :

this is an insane pic. subject in motion and photo - both perfect.

Anonymous Pietman said ... (4:19 AM) :

I am inspired.

Anonymous missmandi said ... (5:27 AM) :

HOT!.... Shame about the cigi. And the ring!

Anonymous TANIA&TANYA said ... (8:29 AM) :

Style is the WAY we feel us. It's not about mixing the things as others do, copying or pseudo-simplifying. Style has the internal deep work.
And fashion and whatever just make the Style works out.

So this man seems to be an artist.
The owner of some gallery, perhaps.
He combines the most 'artistic' colors blue and white.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:47 AM) :

крутой!!
very hot man

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:25 PM) :

what a cool german bundeswehr jacket.. love it

Blogger kiki said ... (9:18 PM) :

something about this man is extremely sexy! Ciao!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:35 AM) :

dustin hoffman...can any one else see it?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:08 AM) :

he's cool and masculine but should lose that little black-red-yellow flag thing and stitch the Italian colors in its place.

Pietro

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:17 PM) :

I think, the "little black-red-yellow flag thing" is just perfect ;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:50 PM) :

OMG

Anonymous Coronita said ... (9:45 PM) :

Tres classic! Love the combination.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:03 AM) :

angry/hot psycho/sexy

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:27 AM) :

Why do people always complain about cigarettes? These people are grown ups, they don't need you babysitters telling them what to do...

Blogger joshylola said ... (9:34 AM) :

I only say...GUAUUUUUUUUUUU

Blogger The Clever Pup said ... (10:34 AM) :

Natural. Perfect. Interesting. I like him.
