incredible! loving the menswear-ish blazer ... and the juxtaposition of the sexy lace up heels and the slouchy, rolled khaki's.

Blogger Ingrid said ... (1:08 PM) :

Those shoeeeees and glasses! Supper combination!

Blogger Maíra said ... (1:09 PM) :

This screams power suit revisited to me! Love the shoes

Blogger M said ... (1:13 PM) :

Very Parisian... love her oversized shades. :)

Anonymous Holly said ... (1:22 PM) :

I'm going for all this "prepster" look...preppy with a tad of edge!

The shoes are amazing. A fresh take on the laidback, slouchy look.

Blogger IAMTHEANGELNEGRO said ... (1:38 PM) :

amazing boots!!!

Blogger Cristi Silva said ... (1:41 PM) :

Her shoes are rad! they are like boxer's shoes but converted to hot heals....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:58 PM) :

This is the best. An look that anyone anywhere any age can emulate. Except for the shoes (which are great), doesn't scream "fashion victim," mutton dressed as lamb, or TTH (trying too hard). Great counterpoint to see-through lace minidresses on middle-aged women.

Anonymous The Photodiarist said ... (1:59 PM) :

Are those Ann Demeulmeester shoes? Love them. The glasses rock too.

Blogger FASHION SNAG said ... (2:29 PM) :

Blogger LiPs said ... (3:04 PM) :

I love how chic this outfit is, that Jacket/ the trousers. And that belt really does finish it perfectly. If I'm perfectly honest I don't love the shoes, but they compliment the outfit.

MM x

Blogger Michael said ... (3:53 PM) :

I love her shoes and her pants, she wears this look so well! The colours compliment each other.

Blogger Elizabeth said ... (3:58 PM) :

i'm really loving those trousers. the shoes are killer too.

Blogger beths said ... (4:09 PM) :

Don't like the rolled trousers because they add a careless (though studied) sloppiness that seems to clash. Love everything else. I wish to place one of those black protective rectangles over the sloppy cuff area.

And, to Anonymous, this woman is not mutton!

Anonymous Elise said ... (4:40 PM) :

disslike the shoes, the pants, the tshit and the glasses. and the mood.

but the blue behind her i like...

Blogger Le Veggie Burger said ... (4:47 PM) :

she is dressed like a man, but looks like a women. I love how the only feminine parts of her body are her head and feets. there is nothing more important!

Blogger UESman said ... (5:04 PM) :

the lines and the shape serpentine shape....all brilliant. I love the shoes most, however. They look like a modified pair of old bowling shoes (the kind you rent at bowling lanes). Maybe thats just because I can't see them close enough.

And the mens kakhis are brilliant. She wears it so well.

Blogger Gigi said ... (5:24 PM) :

Agree, very nice shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:41 PM) :

With the exception of the shoes, I dressed like that in the 80s and the 90s...though maybe not the same designers, lol. Military khakis from the boyfriend, vintage Harris tweed jacket from a thrift, man's Hanes t-shirt and penny loafers. With the pennies, of course. Belt belonged to my late dad. Big ole' 80s tortoise shell sunglasses. The shoes bring this classic outfit up-to-date for the younger generation. Very nice!

Blogger Barbara said ... (5:48 PM) :

I don't like her, particularly. I love the pants and the T, but the jacket and the glasses have to go. The shoes are cool, though. She looks grumpy. A smile might have changed eveything........

Blogger mia said ... (5:50 PM) :

great shoes. so simply but so cool and fashion.

Blogger sofiasophie said ... (5:57 PM) :

quelle classe!
j'adore the combo, XL trousers+ A.D shoes + men's jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:15 PM) :

oooo love this--thanks so much for a refreshing break from platforms and miniskirts!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:20 PM) :

nah dont like that one at all. seems colourless to me and the trousers are too wide for my taste. but glasses and grey shirt are quite nice...everythings a bit dowdy

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:32 PM) :

I die a little bit inside every time I see ugly shoes on women. This is a take on men's boxing shoes which should never have seen the light of day on women.

I love the rest - confident woman wearing blazer like on a duck hunting excursion in the middle of Parigi.

Anonymous Anna Júlia said ... (2:36 AM) :

I honestly think this pair of shoes is one of the ugliest I have ever seen. That said, I like the colours of her outfit, the shirt and the blazer. But flats and a smile would have made all the difference.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:10 AM) :

GREAT! Wonderful to take mens clothing and make it feminine, even the shoes are feminized mens shoes. And her "tough" fighter's demeanor, she seems ready for a boxing match herself.

Anonymous Katy McDevitt said ... (8:51 AM) :

Yes! Killer! Love!

Blogger Vitrinen said ... (9:29 AM) :

I treid to read through the comments: but did not seem to find an answar to the formerly posed questen; are the shoes Ann Demeulemeester?

Does anyone know the answer?
