Blogger TMFA said ... (9:21 AM) :

Milano is just so full of colour. SO different from London in style and colours

Blogger Madeline Veenstra said ... (9:23 AM) :

The dress is such a gorgeous colour, and the socks are a sweet touch :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:42 AM) :

love it but shame about the yellow car on the right...the gorgeous painted yellow metal bars shes leaning on would be just enough yellow (try blocking out the car with your hand!)..anyway i guess you couldnt tow it away..could you?!

Blogger ingefaer said ... (9:42 AM) :

it's the same girl from the other day in the white blouse and blue cardigan. She is lovely but I don't like this outfit as much; too much going on.
I like her bag.

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (9:43 AM) :

I love her pose, she looks naturally demure, with her spine leaning to the left but her head pointing slightly to her right, right in the moment before she says "I am not ready" or something of the short. And pigeon-toe people, dont even start. She is not standing on this one, so she gets a pigeon-toe pass!!!

As for what she is wearing, it looks like she has 3 dresses on, or 2 at the very least. Plaid puff-sleeves, a Proenza-Schouler inspired top and a denim dress, all at once! I do like all of her accessories, especially her non-camera pendant and her cuff. As for the heels-with-socks, I will leave that for someone else to comment. I am sure there will be plenty!

Blogger Kathleen said ... (9:44 AM) :

She is absolutely darling.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:44 AM) :

Did you notice she is having a pair of key around her neck?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:45 AM) :

The same woman who appears in past Tuesday's post--wearing the sheer shirt? She projects a quiet sensuality that echoes in her clothing choices. Lovely, really.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:49 AM) :

She looks happier and younger in this shot - a cue for us all to smile more!

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (9:52 AM) :

Love the brilliant layering of colours & prints!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:03 AM) :

I find this woman a strange paradox. She wears these cute, off-beat combinations, but her face, demeanor and posture don't match at all! In both photos she looks a little embarassed by her own daring.

I love the pink socks with the heels! The only thing I don't care for is that purse with this outfit.

Great photo! I think the yellow car needs to be there.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:04 AM) :

love it!

Blogger Mcmaris said ... (10:10 AM) :

Love the mix of colors and patterns and that CLUTCH bag!!!

Blogger Pearl Westwood said ... (10:17 AM) :

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:22 AM) :

Scott- who is she?

Blogger Shadan said ... (10:28 AM) :

nice haircut!

Anonymous Style Odyssey said ... (10:29 AM) :

i adore the mixed-up charm of this: the decidedly un-matching textures and colors put together in a seemingly random but stylish way. she comes across as creative, confident, and fun.

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:41 AM) :

At first glance I thought what is this innocent looking
girl doing with handcuffs on.

I said fantastic;than realised it was the top of the purse

Anonymous Aimee said ... (10:50 AM) :

i love how innocent and charming she looks; from the ankle socks to her plaid sleeves...school girl chic?

Blogger RECIEN LLEGADA said ... (11:01 AM) :

¡VIVE LA COULEUR¡

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:09 AM) :

The yellows (car and bars) are fantastic.

What I like so much about this woman is that she is "touchable": you could run your hand in her hair, kiss her cheek... In my opinion that is true sensuality.

Plus she has eyes like the heart of pansies: velvety, dark, soft.

Finaly, great outfit and accessories.

Blogger © osma said ... (11:20 AM) :

Cool dof!

Anonymous Ava said ... (11:29 AM) :

WOW this is incredible!! One of the best and most creative iterations of plaid I've seen in a long while!!

Blogger coachwife6 said ... (11:46 AM) :

I can't take my eyes off of this photo. The colors are just breathtaking. They pop off my screen. I couldn't pull it off, but she did. Wow.

Anonymous ROXY MARJ said ... (11:47 AM) :

darling dress!
and there is something about deep purples and yellows worn together in the fall! Love it! :)

Blogger Marie El. said ... (11:48 AM) :

is that the same lady just 2 days ago? this is how a modern Chanel would look like.. feminine yet not too icky sweet. I would have preferred flats though..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:51 AM) :

A new face! Finally!

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:45 PM) :

shes just like the italian Amelié.. so powerful, colorful and cute! Im an accesory- jewelry freak and theres always a space for jewelry or a hat, in this case she could use a bohemian hat, or a freaky necklace that goes with the flow... how about something like this::: http://www.mercedessalazar.com/new_en/necklaces/413-big-skull
anyhow I lvoe it all!! and have always loved the milano pics!

Blogger Soren Lorensen said ... (1:20 PM) :

see, see socks

it is all about socks and I am not going to let up on it now.

Anonymous evalyn said ... (2:09 PM) :

The socks are what this style of shoe has been missing - I couldn't quite put my finger on why I didn't like them. Without socks, they are not finshed. Thank you.

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (3:22 PM) :

I never would have thought that that shy person you photographed a couple of days ago could have such pizzazz!

So what IS the story on what she's got on? Two dresses? Three? Whatever it is, she's got a great creative sense. And I LOVE the socks.

The deep indigos framed by the intense golds of the car and posts is brilliant photography. One of your good ones!

Anonymous Holly said ... (3:37 PM) :

Thats the girl I think is so beautiful! She looks so darling in this shot...I love her entire ensemble!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:35 PM) :

Thanks sartorialst for the wonderful inspirations!

Blogger Nat said ... (6:43 PM) :

She is definitely my new style crush!

Beautiful dress, I think its by Wunderkind. A truly refreshing early Autumn look...

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:49 PM) :

pretty. damn. amazing.

Blogger Ljubica said ... (9:15 PM) :

wow, this outfit is hard to pull off.. it could have easily been so wrong with the mixing of colours, patterns & styles, but she's done is so perfectly.. i love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:28 PM) :

the new Giovanna? please start finding this lady more often! (preferrably chase her) this is probably my second fav photo in the whole blog!
love the combination of the 2 dresses, i mean.. who would think of wearing those togethr and actually looking that good!?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:25 PM) :

Gorgeous! I love the filmy-ness suggested by her left sleeve.

Blogger Ashley said ... (2:34 AM) :

Is that a dress or a few pieces matched together? I love the mix of the grey and the plaids!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:59 AM) :

im digging the socks with those boots especially

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:29 AM) :

FYI
Dress - Wunderkind

Clutch - Jimmy Choo.

She looks fab!

Anonymous Rene Schaller said ... (3:28 PM) :

The dress is Wunderkind (FW 2008), and it's just ONE piece!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:42 PM) :

Like someone said above, Giovanna better watch out! I have seen this girl at fashion weeks for a few seasons now and she is always impeccable.

More shots of her please. I love that she is brave enough to wear wunderkind as well. She wears the dress it doesn't wear her!

Blogger AONIE said ... (8:23 AM) :

Very very cool...like Milan!!!!

Anonymous Competitions said ... (10:47 AM) :

Blogger Arthur Perillo said ... (12:23 AM) :

I am in love with this blog.
My visits became daily ...
Your work is very good!

Anonymous susan said ... (3:02 PM) :

props to Wunderkind for the design - i was thinking this woman had put on two dresses, but it was all the designer's idea, and brilliant. that said, the accessories are done well and she looks awesome.

overall makes me think i need to explore some more layering possibilities in my closet!
