Blogger Highdee said ... (8:51 PM) :

The hair, the shoes, the way she holds her cigarette... truely elegant.

Blogger Kwil said ... (8:52 PM) :

The print on this dress and the bright pop of color on the shoes is genius.

Blogger Ivy Lane said ... (8:54 PM) :

OMG.. that is ME in a few months when my hair is grown out ... LOVE the photo...the blue and red prints ROCK!

Blogger Bookworm said ... (8:54 PM) :

Ooh, I love it. Very modern-cool. Not a big fan of the ciggie, but I adore that ring. It's really textured and gives a pop to the outfit!

Blogger Jacqueline said ... (8:57 PM) :

Love her dress! Gorgeous color. Great photo too!

What an interesting shoe! Love the pattern of her dress..

Blogger Restless Mama said ... (10:11 PM) :

Holy hotness I covet those shoes!

Anonymous Angeline said ... (10:21 PM) :

The print on the shoes and dress are unexpected, yet not. There is a logic to the madness. I adore it!

Anonymous Holly said ... (10:24 PM) :

Cute dress cute shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:37 PM) :

Those lets and those shoes are perfect? This perfection~!

Blogger Geeky said ... (10:40 PM) :

Aiiish! She's gorgeous and, in a grey fashion world, isn't afraid of wearing colour. Nice curvy legs too, instead of the usual baguettes.

p.s. I'd like to say thank you for always, ALWAYS, including people of every colour, when you cover Milan, Paris, London, Sydney, etc... people have a limited idea of what beauty is (see Vogue and other mags which are still overwhelmingly white) - You're doing your bit, surely but discreetly, and I have noticed and I bet others have merci beaucoup.

Blogger Honeybunches of Roses said ... (10:59 PM) :

pattern heals with pattern dress...wonderful :)

Blogger Lions, Tigers and Fashion OH MY! said ... (11:01 PM) :

lovely photo on that bike!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:16 AM) :

I adore the shoes, which would be fine on their own with a simple black or nude dress, but paired with the dizzying blue and the rolled cuffs and cinched belt, provoke a most languishing mood.

Absolute adoration.

Blogger MAISON CHAPLIN said ... (12:24 AM) :

Hi, I love these common italian girls, they are so stylish. I love the dress, it's very Emilio Pucci design, and the's a pitty it's not a Vespa. lol

Blogger Miss Head Over Heels said ... (12:27 AM) :

Love that checkered pumps on her! she reminds me of the pulp fiction movie. awesome.

Blogger leneli said ... (12:34 AM) :

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (12:38 AM) :

Nice combo.

But, really Sart. Does everyone in the world smoke, or is it only in your world?

Do you capture so many smokers because the outdoors is the only place left to them and you shoot outdoors?

Or is everyone who's into fashion a smoker -- to keep thin?

Anonymous NY,NY (uws) said ... (1:47 AM) :

I know its all all about Paris right now, but I have been going through your archives and have yet to find a photo taken in the Upper West Side. Are we really that unfashionable up here? Just wondering. And, I'll keep your blog.

Blogger Laura MW said ... (2:23 AM) :

This seems like one of the most impractical things to wear while biking...but looks completely perfect!

Blogger WISEREDLIPS said ... (2:26 AM) :

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (2:28 AM) :

Brillliant print! The kind that would make me busy if I loooked at it close :)

Anonymous tgc said ... (6:28 AM) :

Is it really OK to combine a brown belt, red shoes and black bag together? I don't think so.

Anonymous pia said ... (6:54 AM) :

What a cute Asian girl... I am sure she is Thai and they are just so good with fashion and not afraid to try anything...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:54 AM) :

Yes, very elegant, and I love the way she looks with her sunglasses!

Blogger Cassandra said ... (8:01 AM) :

I think the way she has rolled up her sleeves is marvelous.

Blogger The Clever Pup said ... (8:03 AM) :

Here I am again, with the shoes. I seem to be the only one that noticed that they're about a half-size too big. And it must hurt like hell on her heels. I like the bit of baguette that some bird or squirrel deposited on her bike!

Blogger FiL said ... (8:06 AM) :

Love the pattern mix dress and shoes...

Blogger La Flaneuse said ... (8:13 AM) :

It's great to wear dresses in the day, and this one is sooo divine.

Blogger Brummagem Joe said ... (8:33 AM) :

Very see girls like this all the time in Italian cities.....they have a natural sense of style and collectively Italian women are amongst the best looking in the world....also her legs are great by which I mean sexy.......just right for the shoes.

Blogger she.organize! said ... (8:36 AM) :

just sensational!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:40 AM) :

love the print on the dress w/ the brown woven belt and patterned RED shoes. beautiful.

Blogger Ashley said ... (8:45 AM) :

I love that the shoes are a completely different pattern than the dress, but they just go.

Blogger whyioughtta said ... (8:46 AM) :

Master's-level pattern mixing. Love it. Too bad about the ciggy, but still she even works that.

Blogger joshylola said ... (9:04 AM) :

Fabulous Miu Miu shoes!!!

Blogger StyleSpy said ... (9:38 AM) :

Perfect. Just perfect.

Anonymous The Photodiarist said ... (11:13 AM) :

Blogger Mimi M. said ... (11:58 AM) :

Those are some seriously sexy legs. Love this shot.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (12:16 PM) :

Wow, I like this pattern of her skirt. It's amazing! Sexy shoes.

Blogger Liz said ... (1:53 PM) :

the fit! it's so perfectly loose.

Blogger jennifleur said ... (2:41 PM) :

i love that the busy patterns balance each other and that the look is so simple... beautiful.

Blogger Ammu said ... (3:57 PM) :

Lovely, inspirational, and playful. Love this look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:23 PM) :

The dress is nice. It has a great pattern. Not sure about the accessories.

She seems to have perfected the scowl of disdain. But she shouldn't! The cigarettes alone will add years to her face; she doesn't need the wrinkles from the scowl on top of it. Smile girl! Not everyone has famous bloggers taking pictures of their clothes everyday.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:05 AM) :

LOVE this outfit like everyone else, but a little intrigued by her choice of shoes for riding a scooter. I ride one myself and am terrified even to wear heeled boots.

Blogger anne-emory said ... (10:47 AM) :

Does anyone know who makes this dress or where i could find it?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:09 PM) :

This is incredible! so subtle and perfect. One of my favorites.

Blogger stone said ... (3:34 PM) :

oh yes she does!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:34 AM) :

What "scowl of disdain" idiot-Anonymous 1.05am? She is smiling. Not everyone can smile a big toothy grin, me included.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:00 PM) :

This is Leaf Greener, a Senior Fashion Editor at ELLE China, and she's wearing a menswear silk jacket, not a dress (!), from Beijing based designer Xander Zhou.

Blogger CW said ... (12:59 PM) :

Very fetching - both dress and shoes.

Anonymous ina said ... (10:28 PM) :

Blogger Jamie said ... (4:23 PM) :

I just saw a photo with Rihanna & she had on the same shoes. I love them even more when paired with the blue dress! Amazing.

Anonymous Nozabil said ... (9:48 AM) :

I dont really like the Miu Miu shoes, but the dress is absolutely gorgeous on her!

Blogger wolala said ... (3:52 PM) :
