Pretty girl, cute look. The Peter Pan collar is somewhat girlish looking for a grown-up.

Blogger Wine Splodge said ... (6:03 PM) :

Her shoes!

Anonymous RibbonsBows said ... (6:04 PM) :

Not only do I love this dress, the belt, the shoes the bag--I love the complete contrast between this very feminine figure against the pseudo-serious guard around her. I absolutely love your work.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:04 PM) :

So fresh, lovely and sophisticated! What is the bad doing here though? it doesn't go at all with this outfit.

Anonymous RibbonsBows said ... (6:05 PM) :

Oh and PLEASE have a book signing in Atlanta!!! The south loves you too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:06 PM) :

Sweet! Love it how the dress shows the motion within her walk! The strip in her waist also, extremely delicate!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:29 PM) :

I too think she's beautiful in that dress, but I would go with a different shoe and the bag doesn't work either. Great photo, of course.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:30 PM) :

Absolutely beautiful....so pretty and fresh.....thanks.....L

Blogger MellJBrown said ... (6:31 PM) :

I'm wondering, what camera do you use? I'm an aspiring fashion photographer about to buy my first DSLR, a Nikon D90- would you recommend it?

Blogger Manuel said ... (6:45 PM) :

Very elegant, she must be someone very important, is very escorted

Blogger X said ... (6:50 PM) :

Where to begin?
Gorgeous, natural hair. Sweet smile. I love the collar on the dress. The buttons! The belt! The hemline!
The doctor's medicine-esque bag with a vintage dress! Love. A splash of color.

Anonymous John M. Doyle said ... (6:50 PM) :

The thing that is most immediately striking is, of course, the color contrast between the young lady in the center and the people surrounding her. Secondly, what captivated me was the near perfect triangulation of her form within the overall geometry of this composition. Add to that the bow that happens to bifurcate this image just where you would expect that it ought to, and the sway of her dress matching the apparent jauntiness of her mood, and you can understand how it is that even if you might not find her choices in accessories to be perfect, she is, nonetheless, a stunning image.

Blogger Lance Miller said ... (6:53 PM) :

Wow she looks great but WHY WHY WHY does the man in the back have both his buttons of the jacket closed...

Anonymous Xanax said ... (6:57 PM) :

She's like this gem in the middle of a sea of black clothes. Love it! The dress in simply beautiful.
And I don't know why people are so judgemental about her bag. She's attending a Louis Vuitton party after all! So, Im sure she intended to wear an classic LV monogram bag to an LV party.

Blogger Singapore Short Stories said ... (6:58 PM) :

sweet and confident!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:59 PM) :

the lady red dress looks adorable. the guy on the right wears the suit really badly!
both buttons closed, jacket and shorts way too long!
anyways, it's about the lady and she is amazing!

Anonymous Holly said ... (7:01 PM) :

She has a breath taking beauty!!! Very lovable!

Blogger Nickie Frye said ... (7:04 PM) :

I'll take that dress in every color please. Thank you! www.nickiefrye.etsy.com

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:08 PM) :

she's nora arnezeder, young french actress and model for the new fragrance by Givenchy. You're right, she's beautiful and perfectly dressed !

Blogger Markmont said ... (7:08 PM) :

Eh, the shoes styling may work with the dress, but not the color. Then to introduce a whole separate pattern motif with the LV bag AND different color scheme - kills this outfit. Only thing really working is the color of the dress with her nails and lipstick. And on another minor note, the watch is black. Black watch with a brown bag and grey shoes...this fails imo.

Blogger Olimpia Liberti said ... (7:16 PM) :

gorgeous color, and gorgeous picture! lovely

Blogger Jessica said ... (7:21 PM) :

So ladylike, and the more modern & edgy shoes give the ensemble a nice balance. Also, perfect hair!

Blogger SarahELizand said ... (7:21 PM) :

Always wanted a pleated dress maybe not exactly the way this young woman has it, but then again I'd take anything to have that bottom pleat =D. Still love the colors in the whole outfit, amazes me how they all fit together, even the shoes are a nice touch. I like the young man's tie and nice suit, to the right

Blogger cami falcão said ... (7:30 PM) :

she's just lovely.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:34 PM) :

does anyone know who made that dress? I'm in love with it!

Anonymous Caroline Ghetes Photography said ... (7:44 PM) :

LOVE it! A very classic beauty!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:49 PM) :

who is she??? she looks like a president's daughter should look.. perfectly sweet and surrounded by guards

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:56 PM) :

The shoes save her from looking too cutesy. She looks great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:18 PM) :

Very pretty and sexy, but the bag and the black watch band (?) can go.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:18 PM) :

I love her Sofia Coppola Bag ;-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:47 PM) :

perfect for a pre-pubescent. If you're over 13, I say ditch the bow.

Blogger MasonSharpe said ... (9:05 PM) :

Beautiful dress and makeup to compliment. However the watch, bag and shoes don't work with each other or the dress. Too bad...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:24 PM) :

Lovely, feminine dress and the perfect belt and hair style to go with it but I have to agree with an earlier commenter that the shoes are horrid and the bag doesn't do much for the outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:34 PM) :

completely love everything but the bag

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:34 PM) :

Isn't there some other style LV purse she could have sported besides this one? It looks like a bowling bag and the colors and texture just aren't right. Leave that behind and she is charming. Anyway, not a fan of LV. Too much knocked off and where are they made exactly...?

Blogger Lolitta said ... (9:47 PM) :

Very cute dress..love how the lipstick falls in line with the dress..cute.

Anonymous Lady in Stunning Gowns said ... (11:40 PM) :

beautiful and lovely dress !!

Anonymous Lucia said ... (11:48 PM) :

Before I scrolled down to her feet, I was expecting sneakers or bowling shoes... In way the whole outfit screams " This is not working at all" the dress with that bag? The shoes with that dress.. and its October after all, not July.. But on the other hand, it does work, and she looks happy and pretty, and her hair is wonderful and so is her smile, and I love the color of her nails. She looks like someone from a fairy tale just visiting :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:54 PM) :

Why aren't his pants-legs rolled up past his ankles? Is he a fashion-clueless security guard? And shouldn't his tie be OUTSIDE his jacket?

Blogger Catherine said ... (12:18 AM) :

Wow, love that dress! It looks like it has a nice swing to it and the collar is adorable. That color goes great with her hair; she looks so natural and beautiful!

Blogger loveroffashion said ... (12:24 AM) :

What a stunning ensemble!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:43 AM) :

I think it all works wonderfully because of the fact that it isn't too coordinated... very child-like. I never picked a pair of shoes because they would match my outfits but because I liked the shoes on their own... the same for most things as a child. I think that's the best thing about this picture. Reminds me of how I used to dress :)

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:45 AM) :

oh.. in the time of all black n grey sphistication , she is like a breeze of freshness..!!! very pretty pink and the dress.. n both herself and the dress compliment - enhance each others beauty and simplicity. definitely the bag n shoes doesn't go together but its her casual look that shows .. not so made up

Blogger Mohawk Conspiracy said ... (1:48 AM) :

Such a pretty dress!! Lovely photo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:52 AM) :

Can someone tell deadpan bodyguard to her left to smile ffs... he's in Paris after all and next to a lady who doesn't know how to match shoes, bags and watch despite her lovely dress.

Blogger Hannah said ... (2:23 AM) :

Absolutely gorgeous. She definitely stands out in that sea of black.

Blogger Bikini Hill said ... (2:48 AM) :

Nora is so cute, fresh and healthy!
It's good to see that she represents the new generation of french actresses!

Blogger noelakadjtambour said ... (3:03 AM) :

lovely picture! all the supposedly wrong accessories actually enliven the photo: like the bulkiness of the bag contrast with the sheerness of the dress; the pale grey shoes with the vivid red dress; the black band actually pulls in the other people surrounding her...anyway, it works very well in my eyes

Blogger Don said ... (3:05 AM) :

Very fresh looking. She smiles like she has a secret.

Blogger Skogseva said ... (3:36 AM) :

Black watch, brown bag and grey shoes - no, no NO!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:20 AM) :

Blogger Cari Hislop said ... (4:25 AM) :

The lovely lady in pink had just walked out of a fairy tale when an evil witch rushed up and said, "Here my sweet, put on these ugly shoes. They're magical..they'll bring you a Prince, but don't forget the bag...yes it's ugly but," the witch lowered her voice to a whisper, "It's a designer label and you'll need somewhere to put the shoes once you've sprained your ankle. A Prince will pick you up and carry you away...if only to the emergency room...he he he...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:20 AM) :

she is so beautiful that she would look equally cute in a paper bag. The LV bag does not fit the dress otherwise a perfect photo again!

Blogger Emilie said ... (8:21 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:38 AM) :

she is Nora Arnezeder, actress. and i would imagine the shoes are louis v as she is at lv show.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:41 AM) :

What a lovely dress! LV bags are tacky though, sorry.

Anonymous Sharon said ... (9:43 AM) :

Lovely smile and hair, and a very charming dress. I especially love the movement captured in the image, how the dress seems to flow as she glides. She looks so happy and content.

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (10:25 AM) :

Of course she's beautiful. The dress is a delight on her.

But. The shoes with that dress? That LV bag with any of it? I can't imagine any French person approving of these choices.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:33 AM) :

it must take incredible restraint to not twirl constantly in that dress. So pretty.

Blogger David C said ... (10:46 AM) :

Oooh La La!

So feminine. I am going to show my gf this. She wants to girl it up a bit. Imagine if more women dressed like this and wore Penhaligon's Bluebell perfume. I love that she has eschewed contemporary androgynous trends and arrayed herself in such beautiful, feminine clothing, not to mention timeless. As a guy i am attracted to femininity, not masculinity. Good for her!

Blogger editor said ... (12:09 PM) :

i want the hair, the dress, the shoes, and of course the bag. louis goes with everything.

Anonymous Hannah said ... (12:20 PM) :

I love how different she looks to all the Paris Voguettes and their black, masculine clothing. Sure, the shoes throw the outfit off a little - maybe some darker ones would have been better - but I love that she's a total breath of fresh air!

Blogger kerfuffler said ... (1:10 PM) :

Love the dress, but the shoes, while nice by themselves, don't set the dress off, and really fight with the purse. I don't think that purse is great with that dress, but with different shoes.....

Blogger socapp said ... (1:25 PM) :

I think everything is perfect here. With such a feminine dress the strong boxy bag and contemp. shoes really throw you off and I love that! Otherwise it would be too childish possibly. The more I dissect this the more I love it! She knows what she's doing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:26 PM) :

This is how to wear LV. As an accessory NOT just a namebrand. She has got it right. Now us americans need to learn.

Blogger Valerie said ... (2:28 PM) :

Anonymous Margo said ... (3:07 PM) :

I would wear that dress differently. I think she's trying to give it an edge with the odd shoe and bag and watch choice, but it just looks a little off. A pretty dress like that can veer into candy Sunday school if one isn't careful.
Her hair is just lovely.

Blogger Miriam Parkman said ... (6:31 PM) :

Oh!
How fantastically nice to see someone with colour among all those blacks!
She looks lovely, with all those rasberrypink polkadots, the cute collar and that perfect little belt.

Nora Arnezeder is simply so gorgeous! i hope to see her more on this website!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:13 PM) :

Some of you so-called fashionable people have no clue... Louis Vuitton is not adding another color pallette - its a neutral. and why on earth would you care if there are knockoffs...if your is real? At any rate, I think the shoes and the bag give the look enough edge to not be too cutesy, and as such it works well. Matchy matchy is not fahionable, just fear...

Anonymous Well Done said ... (2:37 PM) :

Perfection. The flounce in the skirt, the cheerful color of the pattern. The glow on her face and her flawless hair and smile. And what exquisite shoes.

This is a stunning photo, as her dainty dress is truly showcased here, surrounded by the darker hues.

Loved the matching striped ties of the bodyguards too. Softens their otherwise too-serious look somehow.
