Comments on "On the Street...@ Marni, Milano"
ooooh, quelle classe et quelle élégance!
I love the combo shades of blues+ tan leather!
So simple, beautiful and fun.
I find her look very refreshing in comparison to the over the top efforts of some featured recently.
This is timeless.
Beautiful!
this is so awesome. her legs look like they would scratch the sky...
this is great! Very modern, simple, and a balance of masculine and feminine. Actually, to be honest, I'm really enjoying it because I look like this woman (similar face structure, haircut, etc) so I can find some inspiration in it :)
She looks stunning - and it's totally wearable. Love it!
Even if we didn't live in trying and austere times (in mood if not in fact, to be sure), there is something alluring and wholly gracious in a simple ensemble in which all of the elements are well chosen and completely harmonious. Gray, black and whiskey brown, accented by just a slight bit of silver-this is a color aesthetic that is modern and classic at once, and very much in tune with the culture at large right now. In a way, it almost suggests a form of Japanese minimalism, something that should not comes as a surprise to anyone who follows fashion, since the next "big idea" will probably come from Asia.
absolutely adorable
hmm! delightful! simple is ALWAYS more beautiful than anything ya could come up with.
congrats to her!
Nice... hahaha

Oh man, that looks fantastic.
such easy elegance, and I die for your Vogue spread-amazing!
I like this look, simple but still elegant. Her face and style reminds me Audrey H.
i think her posture really accentuates the outfit. it makes the outfit really. can you imagine how awful it would look if she was slouching??
I LOVE her shoes.
Brilliant!
¡you love Milano!
In other place on the word there are mice people and fashion-
regards from Spain
sheh is simply a.dor.able.
Im not impressed. Very plain. Love her face and haircut though.
those some niiiice heels.
Are they pants? She's lovely, and the pieces are perfect together, but I'd like to see her striding along in those heels. She looks so uncomfortable in them - like she can't wait to get them off. Ah, but she'll suffer for the look........
Those pants are incredible! Love the shape, such a simple outfit yet so striking!
What a great, almost 50s retro look. So Ingrid-Bergman-wholesome-sexy.
Now I must ask. Why are so many of the women portrayed here standing with their toes turned in? As a dancer I learned that a 3rd position, with the toes slightly turned out is the elegant pose. Turning your feet in distorts your whole posture. Don't mothers teach their girls anymore how to stand?
What a great transitional outfit--she has the fall feeling but still looks appropriately dressed! I think the real genius are those pants--great cut!

so stunning and elegant. beautiful and inspiring
I like the balance in this outfit!

fantastic ensemble from head to toe.
She looks like she is balancing on stilts. The design of the shoe would be better if the heels were lower. They would still look great, and women would be able to walk comfortably in them.
This is my favourite look in so long...so understated and yet surprising at the same time. Fabulous. I'm always more impressed by people who can work with a simple pallette and do something interesting, rather than with those who throw on an out-there dress and shoes. Terrific.
i am often accused by friends for wearing the same grey t-shirt and black skirt combo, and now i feel a little less alone. wonderful matchy matchy with the shoes and the bag. so inspiring. :D
my, it's like my mother from her old photos! almost disturbing
Love. her. Everything. I get scared when fashion can create an emotion in me. But I kind of like it. Yay.
love the combination of the antque looking shoes with the ultra modern clothes! opposition always creates wonders!
Wow. Of all the photos this week, this one is... wow. So simple & lovely.
what a great look. i especially love that it looks so freaking comfortable!
i love how bold the look is and how bold she is as well

The grey T-shirt is one of the most perfect articles of clothing in the history of dressing, I swear. I own about ten of them, all cut differently, in slightly varied shades, and love each and every one. I love the effortless feel of this, knowing full well, of course, that she did indeed make an effort. But an effortless effort, if you see what I mean. Beautiful, all the way around.
She is quite beautiful, but I would hate those pants on anyone. Wish I could just cut the middle out and make it a casual drapey skirt.
gorgeous, what a stunning combination!
I actually DESPISE harem pants, but she has managed to wear them in such an effortless and timeless way. I love people who don't try to hard to look great - they're just themselves. Great picture!
(p.s. are those harem pants or a skirt that's being blown by the wind? Either way, she looks great)

Can't touch this.
80's Isabella Rossellini.
I think I would like it 10x more without the tights.
This lady has a very natural and individual-looking beauty and the simplicity of the outfit really brings that out. However, not even she could persuade me to like those ugly pants.
Love her look! it's so casual yet the shoes dress it up

The shoes look sky-high from the front. Ouch, and yikes.
Very neat outfit. :)
I think this is the most beautiful woman in the most wonderful outfit for like ever! :)
I love thoe shoes, and I adore the whole outfit, how minimalistic it is, and then the shoes takes it to a totally new level.
I do not actually like the pants, but on her they look great.
I really miss that black-grey era, the thing Prada started years ago, please come back, with Carolyne Besset Kennedy as an fashion icon. Less is just much more!
Thanks for a great blog, I just ordered your book!
xxx Lucia, Finland
the droopiness of such harem pants always makes peopl looks short, but she has such great skill to style it with heeled oxford and make her legs look mile-long!!! Bravo!
oops... mistaken the heels as oxford! LOL!
Hi :)
Love the heels:)
SP
The clothes fir on her just perfect!

I have to agree, she does have excellent posture! I've got to stop slouching now!
Simplicité, efficacité… J’aime beaucoup !
She is such a doll! I could do with a different shirt, but the overall outfit is just wonderful!

Ah, some real sense of owned style here. Just great.
Lovely. Harem pants have never looked more chic. Love her hair too - artless and elegant.
This is one of my favorites......so beautiful!
the color on the shirt is lovely, but i think her haircut is what makes the outfit.
Chiming in to agree with Anonymous (5:10 PM), who commented on the refreshing simplicity of this ensemble. The outfit's not shouting anything, it just emits a smooth, flowing vibe, joyfully punctuated by the toe-tingling shoes.
There is something in this life you cannot buy, no matter how much money you've got: charme.
This lady is charming, her smile is inviting, her clothes fit her well, and she looks confident.
What else can we add?
thechukker.blogspot.com
I can't even see the clothes. That is a gorgeous woman.
I second all of Lucia's comments...
less is more and in this case, to be able to make something this simple look so great is real style.
She is just beautiful and you Scott has an eye for finding beauty.
simply beautiful!
I felt in love of the model
She looks amazing!! I like the colour of the pantyhose along with the shoes!!!
oh this one I tried last season but that didnt fit so I bought quite same one as this....one piece off shoulder....YSL .. just same design but this one is less formal than mine
I love it! what a great combination!
love her haircut!
i love the construction of those pants. the shoes and bag are a nice touch to the outfit.
I wish I have trousers like that.
www.hand-me-down-shop.blogspot.com
She's elegant and cute.
I love everything but the pants, I really hate them.
one word- charming!
Lover her shoes. Italian shoes are so chic

I love this sHoes!!!
if i`m not wrong she is from istanbul...she is stylist and her name is Konca...another beautiful, talented young woman from Turkey....
Yeah, I have to say that this is one of my favourite looks ever from this site (and I've been reading for several years). I love the simplicity of it. She's natural and pretty and yet she clearly knows her own shape, aesthetic. I love the way the shoes add a feeling of "vintage" to this, taking the (ugly, imho!) harem pants to another era (they almost look like the golfing bloomers that women wore in the 1920s, and this is impression is reinforced by the bobbed hair). Well done!
that simple grey tshirt is just the biscuits...love to see so much grey love on the satorialist!
really simple but it works out really good and i'm loving the hair :)
ps: are you ever coming to malta? :)
Yes, all that being said - could she run in the rain? I think not.
if she walked by while i was riding my bicycle, i'd crash, by only paying attention to her, and not the road. women like her are a liability.
I love this! I love her!!!
Love her pants!
