Comments on "From GQ......at Billy Reid, NYC"
I like the look - the warmth of the tie and vest. Reminiscent of a barkeep at a favorite tavern.
Love his retro look. Very dapper!
Go Brandon!
Love it! I like how he slightly mirrors the profile of the person in the picture behind him. He looks an old saloonkeeper. Thanks for repping the Southern sensibility, Mr. Reid.
gorgeous photo of a gorgeous boy!

I enjoy how the pose mirrors the portrait behind him. Otherwise, nice earthy colours.

Pulling off a bowtie is no easy thing. I live in the South and even here, well, it's a serious matter.
A beautifully framed shot.
And I love the vest!
What year are we?
The old-style portrait in the background is genius. You could take a black and white picture of him and post it right up next to the genuinely old portrait and they would mesh seamlessly.
Actually spoken with this guy at Billy Reid. Super nice guy, very helpful. Quite surprised to see him on here.
I love the contrast between the brown printed bow tie and the grey sweater. Oh, and how the bow tie matches the background.
Cute!!! hehehehe
Amazing! Wish I could see the whole outfit, though. I bet he has dapper shoes.
Hm!! I can almost read his mind... lovely shot.
*he's gorgeous too* ^_^
Cool cool cool! But warm winter look. Great!
It's Brandon from Drinkin' & Dronin'...nice
Slingblade chic!
PERFECT ELEGANT MAN.
EXCELLENT SHOOT.

I was hoping Billy Reid might make it big(er) this year.
He seems from another era (background decor helps). Gorgeous set!

We love Billy Reid down here in Nashville! www.theivoryfeather.blogspot.com
look at the beautiful freckles on his face - such focus.
The bow tie really brings out the outfit.

ahh, what better backdrop to the formal bowtie than the offbeat condos and sushi of bond street.
a classic! and i bet his makes a mean old fashion!

I feel had he worn a white shirt, it would have made the ensemble too stark. The sky blue makes him look so perfectly put together. He knows what he's doin'.
Nice work. Saw this in your GQ work. I'm a big fan. Thanks
Great photo! I like how the two profiles work together.
Great costume in a great setting. Great face. Love the whole project!
Let's dress like we respect ourselves -- the way we used to, you know, in the good old days.
Fabulous picture !
Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue meets 20's New York. Very moody.........
I think that the idea of wearing a bow tie worries many a gent. This chap shows that it is quite easy and comfortable. The blue shirt is so important here, white would have been too crisp.
Gorgeous model and clothes, but then again they dont hire them because they're ugly. Question: the bottom 1/3 of the image appears blurry, was this intentional and if so why? Jorge from WPB
cute! the bowtie and vest, i mean!
LOL
i just feel like diving into the depth of that vest! i shall hunt for one (even though it's summer in Aus!)
I love his espression, the colors, the travel in time... congrats! ;)
Brandon... way to go. yours.. wb

This photo is sheer genius! (And he's not bad either.)
He looks like an old soul...great face.
it works... it really works well.
hello :) was wondering, what's this guy's name?
he looks so much like a friend of mine! :O
where to get those vests?
awesome photo!
I can't get behind this look. Most of the looks shown here are someone who simply looks good with their clothes and their confidence in their style (cary grant style).
This look is too contrived...it is a perfect period piece and would look great at the bar in a movie scene but if I saw someone like this walking down the street I would be thinking "tool"
Why don't more men wear these ties? It looks so dapper. I would ask this man to make me a sangria or a bellini.

The texture of his vest is so vivid. Ageless class bowtie.
Sweet lips. Lovely foto, with the marble bar.
very dapper
Oh, I love this! Makes me want to order an old-fashioned drink from him.
I'm not the only one who sees Slingblade! Right on, Kevin...
wicked hair
He could`ve appeared on an old Smiths- album cover. Very cool.
i like th vest!!!!!!

Love his bow tie. Looking good.
Imagine this look on a female.
I'd wear it...
ahhh pretty
Loooove his look. Definitely want to visit HIS bar:)
Billy Reid is one fine Southern gentleman and a dear friend. Great to see everyone appreciating his styling.
love this. want to paint this!
Yeah Brandon! Way to represent BR!
Billy Reid was my home away from home while living in NYC-a great southern treaure in the heart of NYC! Always love the look of a good southern guy!
What an adorable, schoolboy face.
Handsome guy but I don't think the colors help him.
good look
