Decarin!!!! I love his outfit and ofcz his talent :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:26 PM) :

So, who is this exquisite gentleman?

Anonymous Mary @ StyleFyles said ... (8:34 PM) :

perfect

Blogger rhianna said ... (8:40 PM) :

Essentially all of Decrnin's brilliant designs are nods to Emmanuelle...after all it was she who first permeated his masterpieces into the pages of Paris Vogue who brought him the household status he's garnered. Voguette's are such wonderful missionaries, pulling nearly bankrupt fashion houses up by their blingy bootstraps.

Naturally she would be right beside him when reflecting over his latest collections. (And of course she's wearing the most chicly classic Balmain blazer while doing so.)

Ooh what I would do to have her power.

Blogger test said ... (11:14 PM) :

i love decarnin and i love the fact that he is one of the designers who actually dresses up correctly for his shows and not go out in nearly sweats as many do.

This one of the sexiest men i have ever seen.

J adore his ensemble - the glamorous disheveled look of it all - the nonchalance.
The overly long sleeves, the artfully distressed motocross pants, the perfect belt thickness and color.
The leather jacket w/ perfect sleeves and details,
All of the muted tones working together.
That wide expanse of clavicle is mesmerizing,
The tousled dark hair and deep eyes.

Blogger she-who-travels-with-camera said ... (11:55 PM) :

So then, I guess it's sacrilege if I say that I love the leather jacket but the pants and shirt look terrible! (I know I know... it's supposed to be chic but I don't find anything chic in pre-distressed trousers and ill-fitting tops).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:02 AM) :

What A strange and sexy man!

Blogger ... said ... (12:46 AM) :

im in love...

Blogger Pricciao said ... (12:59 AM) :

Anonymous Caroline said ... (3:49 AM) :

Whoo! He sure knows how to make grungy look cool

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:36 AM) :

Re Comment: "empty chairs"- They're watching a run through you fool! Why would the designer be sitting at the front row during his own show?

Re Pics: Love grunge.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:49 AM) :

I love the hidden stories your pictures tell. I didn't know who these people were until I read the comments and then all was explained enough for me to google more info. But your pictures always leave me wanting to know more. It's as if you have surpassed the need for profile journalism, in a way.

The music running through my head is Peter Sarstedt
singing "Where do you go to my lovely"...check it out!

Anonymous Ferryflight said ... (9:34 AM) :

This man reminds me of my Father, sunken cheeks and piercing eyes. He looks so mild on the outside but his eyes are so intent, like they have something to say.

Blogger Emilie said ... (10:33 AM) :

I love his pants!

Anonymous Holly said ... (10:39 AM) :

My first thought was very Ron Woods! As we would say in Oklahoma "he's a hunk"!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:49 AM) :

I would wear this right now and want the entire outfit. Love, love, loving well-fitted leather jackets!!

I NEED those pants!!!!!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (11:25 AM) :

Great look!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:41 PM) :

Someone recently asked me for spare change in San Francisco wearing an outfit almost identical to his.

Anonymous lucia said ... (2:11 PM) :

He is SO Fricking Beautiful! Hot, sexy, cute, what a man! Someone else said it earlier, but I have to say int again, that I love when people got contradictions, as he does, he doesn't look like a designer, not in the stereotype way at least, he looks more like a rock star or a poet.
And same with E.Alt, she is the most cool woman ever, she is such an icon for myself, as we are same age, I guess, and she shows that you don't have to dress in a certain way if you're not 25 anymore.
Thanks Scott for having these wonderful, inspiring ppl in the same picture.

xxx

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:01 PM) :

That's one sexy dude in the middle pic.

Blogger Manuel said ... (3:15 PM) :

Sorry I can not understand how with that look of a poet, rock or whatever you want can make collections full of luxury and sophistication. I think it is contradictory

Anonymous Mara said ... (3:58 PM) :

Wonderful photograph, you really caught his amazing style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:08 PM) :

Sorry to be a bit of "cold water" on the parade here but this looks like the old "heroin chic" of some years ago. and those were not glamorous happy times. The pants are interesting though. The rest...ehh...

perfection!:D

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:18 PM) :

I don't get it, or maybe I do?:
If the guy is famous, then his clothes are an inspiration, on anyone else, his clothes spell "bum".
Nice double standard.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:19 PM) :

Except for the remark about the pants, I totally agree with Bob.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:22 PM) :

I don't like it at all.

Much prefer Romeo above, or Mr. Castiglioni, or M. Tuileries

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:26 PM) :

Christophe Decarnin

Oh where, oh where is the Balmain in Balmain?

Blogger CAYA F said ... (8:35 AM) :

This is how to wear a gray T-shirt.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:23 AM) :

He is Tamás Király, the last real fashion designer in hungary.

Anonymous natou said ... (10:42 AM) :

The sexiest !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:22 PM) :

i think he looks extremely sexy but he played the grunge factor a little too far. the look would have been better if he'd worn a nice shirt with those distressed pants or vice versa, but then again, that is his style and he carries it well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:28 PM) :

Oh my, these folks need a vacation and some R&R.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:18 PM) :

I love the way the layers of ragged charm. especially the sleeves. He looks so haunted and sickly, but he is very handsome and intense.

Blogger Ko said ... (2:24 AM) :

So cool!
Henley neck T shirts + Leather jacket is amazing combination.
