Comments on "At Lanvin"
Beautiful
wow gorgues!! i love both of these looks from top to bottom !! & amazing photos as usual!
superb b&w!!
Gorgeous photos. I like how in the first one her hair contrasts with the rest of the colors. I like how in the second photo she rolled up her jeans =)
FashionSnag
in the top photo
the hair is perfectly suited to that garment (dress?)
in both the shapes are really well put together, each fold and fall, and there is a boldness in their simplicity
superbe
Beautiful!!
the haircut of the first girl is really cool
and I love the black and white pics!
Hook The Look
GREAT pictures and outfits. i love the first girls haircut.
Amazing pics! Nobody does this like you, Scott.
But I gotta say I'm totally nuts about Garance's way with the camera, too.
Oh, that Erin Fetherston hair...
The second photo is perfection and it would be noble if you further pursued this style...

the woman with the hat...i loooove it!the black and white image of this girl reminds me of a Jin Jarmusch movie with a touch of extra elegance
the difference between the women ouside the Lanvin show (esp the trench coated woman) and a lot of the women you have been photographing in Europe is this: the woman in the trench looks modern and fun not taking herself too seriously and a lot of the other photos look like the woman were up all night trying on clothes to get the look just right. In other words too practiced. Somehow the classics look just right now. Not too done up. The photo of Garance in the brown oxfords is a classic. It could be anytime anywhere. It could be Greta Garbo in the 40's.
Absolutley great.
Best!
Jose
The first picture is gorgeous! I love it! <3
These are amazing black&white shots!!! Need to learn how to take pics like that! woow!

wow, these are amazing especially the first photograph. Her blonde hair is a wonderful stark contrast to her outfit.
I'm all over that 2nd look!!!

Especially the first one is stunners. the hair contrasts so hard with the rest.
the second picture is amazing...
Top image: The ensemble is so abstract and pure in form, model's hair included, that is is like a bucket of cold water to see the polka-dot hosiery, it detracts from the entire effort, almost like a floral print handbag would.
Bottom image: Love everything, especially the shoes! I wish we could see the wash of the jeans, it seems like something interesting is going on there. Also, there is a handbag which we can't see. Hopefully it is not floral print...

very good idea to protect hair from the rain ... !! i love it !

and i love the contrast between her hair against her black outfit.
WOW!Perfection, black&white superb!!!

The second shot is very alluring, romantic and timeless.
she IS gonna have a little trouble seeing where she is going though, isn't she. i know, that's not the point.
The tights are definitelly inspiring!

More black and whites. These are superb!
I love, love, love both of these. Black and white is so great because you get the scale of tone from white to black with all the nuances in between. First pic, love the geometric quality of the coat and hair and I think the pattern in the tights was necessary as a counterpoint. Second photo, the coat looks like great quality but worn with panache which takes the stuffiness out of it. And the Hat! Too wonderful.
Love that first outfit!!! And the shoes in the second are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
some of the best shots in while!

When they publish a book "Fashion of XXI sentury" (in the year 2110 perhaps) these pictures should be in it. Seriously.
Your blog is very pretty! Wonderful pics!
We are fashion designers and we have made a new t-shirts collection:

Black and White...so mysterious.
Both look wonderful. I am a big fun of hats. I can wear it with everything. I have just discovered dotted tights. I like as the woman on first picture wears them. Greetings.
These two pictures are nice together.
do not like jeans rolled like this.... they are too narrow - they look ugly to me. The roll should be looser more like a fold.... details - details -
The blonde hair girl has the best style ever.
BOTH pairs of shoes and the trench PLEASE!
Loving these, Sart. Could we have more please? So subtle. They're stunning. Like editorials. Love the tyre tracks in the second pic. They complement the straps on her shoes. Almost like positive/negative. I feel this series would be the perfect counterpart to the dark portraits of the men you did a few weeks a go. Would you ever consider selling prints?! I'm sure I'm not the only one that would lease out their granny to get their paws on one!! I'm not joking Want one now! LOL
Le Fist
The first woman is amazing in a haunting sort of way. Almost like Betty Catroux gone chicly goth!
Love both photos, but the second took my breath away! Incredible!!!
I like it¡¡¡¡¡¡

A smile would have made it all better.
Bangs are the new black!
absolutely beautiful photos...lush, textural, quiet and mysterious in black/white. sometimes color just isn't needed to showing details in the clothing.
i'd love to see more black and white photos here.
Love the first picture!!
The look are perfects!
XXX Alberto
the second one is great, i wish i had taken that photo. really really awesome shot.
Wow, wow, wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The first pic is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Xoxo
I looooove the first pic
Beautiful B&Ws, especially the first.
Very beautiful photography.
The top blonde looks just like me circa 1986. Really.
Wonderful stuff...
stunning shots!
Last summer I was wearing the same hat. chic! never thought of wearing it with a coat. Now I see, I have to try it...
Walking pieces of sculpture... just beautiful!
sober and soberb.
oh liking the black and white, a departure for you, very moody , the light is amazing,
Ghostly beautiful photos.
ah black and white-gorgeous
Architectural bangs on #1.
Top picture is one of your best. The Geometry is wonderful!
Tell us, Scott...why black & white?
I like the black and white, but fashion-wise it left me longing for more.
The mood in the pictures...The mood! that is what is great!!!these photographs let me thinking, I am intrigued, I want to know more! The clothes are perfect, the models and the hair impeccable, the setting dark enough to make a statement and bring that touch of mystery.
You are always surprising, when we all think we saw it all, you come with something like this and it is like "do not underestimate this guy..."

I'm loving the b&w. Great work!
It's all about the trench coat.
Felicia, This Time in Seoul
Love the contrast between her blond bleached hair and her coat

love it love it love it. i really like the rolled pant with incredible shoes. trench and hat are bonus. would normally think this is too much all together, but it works. hopefully all the colors are muted. b&w makes it!
The HAT, the TRENCH, the ROLLED JEANS... could she get any cooler?
<3.

Are these one of your only B&W pictures? Love them, you should do more!
dotted tights are one of the few novelty accessories that will be sticking around for a bit. with all the patterned/ripped/colored/etc.. leg wear the has been seen as of late, i truely think that the dotted tight will be like oatmeal before a long walk.. it'll stick with you!!
Exquisite photograph!
These are my favorites! Loving the b&w!
http://loveyourfabulousself.blogspot.com/
I love the dotted tights. And what beautiful black and white photography, how lovely!
Ah, the footwear!! Love. I also appreciate the black and white.
Can someone please help ID the tights? They were in an NYtimes slideshow that I can't locate; shown on many Paris runways; German house? Thanks!
BECOMING INSANE OF THESE PHOTOS. REALLY GREAT LOOKS.

CHICMUSE
love the black and white, thought the first girl was erin fetherson at first
i am in love with the second picture. i wish i could wear a hat like that, jeans like that and the trenchcoat like that which would solve my unphotogenic face and what to wear dilemna as i would wear it everyday. great great shot and the location looks cool too.
Superbissimes !!
Encore !
suddenly, I am craving to watch ''Un homme et une femme'' again.
I <3
If Chanel is dead, long live Lanvin!
Such style. So fresh.
A Bird.
Wow, those B&W are so beautiful... for some reason it feels like the textures of the clothing, shoes, etc comes out so much more in B&W!
The second picture is my new desktop image. I want it in every detail. Yes. Yes. Yes. And the shot reminds me a little of the now late, always great, Irving Penn.
Wonderful! Why the black and white? It's amazing, but just wondering what inspired the change-up!?!
- le 21ème
LOVE the second picture. Perfect degree of sharpness combined with the soft ragged jeans and romantic hat
Beautiful but pass on the jeans.
WONDERFUL pictures!!
i love bothe the looks
amazing
Love. :-)
These are quite possibly among the most engaging images I've seen on here, or anywhere, in a very long time.
I love the second one so much~~ The eternal classic are "Black and White".
