Comments on "On the Street...Two at Ralph Lauren, NYC"
now THIS is perfect.
Oh how I miss 650 madison. They looked the same back then - classic is classic!
i love this mis-matched pair. its fun to dream up the friendship that they must have. great individual style too!
So debonair! Love the cravat.
Gorgeous!!
I love a man that dresses just like this!
xx,

LOVIN IT! Both guys look great. Nice svelte line and nipped wait on the double breasted. Better fit and cut IMHO than what Mr. Marzotto was wearing a few photos ago.
tres chic!
(hot damn... those are some handsome gents!)
Barring the lack of cuffs, they look pretty damn good!
The scarf is so perfectly done. Very Impressive!
both are very dashing!

Nice bags¡
Nice shoes¡
KIsses from Spain
DELIA
dapper!
thumbs up on the longish curls and ascot; men take note
LOS DOS IMPECABLES Y ME ENCANTA EL DETALLE DEL BOLSO....
OMG! Fabulous!
Yummy double breasted navy jacket with broad shoulders! I am so glad to see that cut coming back for men!
And moving on from the clothes, look at their lovely smiles!
just two gentelmants:)
I really like the picture!
xxx
If I have to choose I prefer on the right hand,
2 great looks on 2 very different men. I'm happy you give man's fashion space, too.
these guys look great. one quibble: the fellow on the left would look better in a pointed collar instead of a spread collar. the spread tends to emphasize a certain chubbiness.
Gent on the left: mauve shirt with white collar and purple dotted tie... too much
Gent on the left: no no no... Banker goes to town
Both: handbags, pleeeease!!!
I just like their smiles.
DEVASTATINGLY HANDSOME
Sharp tote bags! Go guys!
Beautiful clothes, I love Ralph. Gorgeous EG/RLPL shoes. Great bags. But...between you and those men in Milan, you have turned me into a sartorial detail snob. Where are the shirt cuffs? Don't like the trouser bottoms, look indecisive. Long haired fellow has a little contrast going on and really like his overall look but something is missing. Pocket square? Other gent looks like a British politician or a banker with a good tailor. Nice clothes but not much style. I know I'm a heel but I've been spoiled by those damn Italians.
PERFECT PAIR.
LOVE THE LOOKS!
XX
CHICMUSE
man purses! brilliant! very stylish gentlemen.
nice colours match. very chic look
its rare to see a double breasted suit jacket nowadays.
Perfection!!!!!
the bald guy is SO handsome! yum. not a fan of his collar but love the shirt color.
Would everyone please stop referring to these bags as man purses, they are just urban holdalls, and are more than appropriate for men, nothing faddish or trendy about them.
Solely GLAM FABULOUS!!!
i want long hair!
There was more style outside the show than there actualy was on the runway.
how interesting is that!!! i just had my second interview with taylor(the men on the left). he was just as dapper in person. pinstripe suit, pocket square and wingtips. i hope i get the job there!
Hey-more proof that there IS a god!!
Fantastic photo! Compare and contrast: two ways to wear a suit. Business chic on the left; dressed down sophistication on the right, even down to the respective shaved head and longer curling hair. Pity most men seem to rebel against looking so grown up and put together.
this is the american dapper gent's style... somewhat different from european/italian, but sharp in its own way.
both men look great in their own style, and nothing is overdone - reall classics.
great smiles!!!!
love them

One can't help but love Ralph!

long hair is definitely on the radar! hot, especially w/ that glowing smile.
love the brown shoes.
love the bag w/ the purple gent. not sold on the other one - looks like my mom's carry-all.
but both need to show some cuff - especially on the navy suit... otherwise the sleeves just look too short.
the lack of wedding bands gives me hope!
this is not impressive. i expect better.
What's this flare in the picture?
I like the whole outfit of these two lads.
Love the outfit to the right. Just look great with the double breasted jacket and silk scarf! To little cuffs showing though.
Wonderful! Wish more men would dress like this. Sigh.
Not fashion just dapper! Love RL
" Better fit and cut IMHO than what Mr. Marzotto was wearing a few photos ago.:
.....Er...no....the db suit looks good but not really in the same league as Matteo's.......Overall the guys look very good though and a nice contrast in neck treatments not to mention hair styles....like the bags too.
they are very handsome and stylish but what's with the bags? men carrying bags?
That double breasted Jacket is lovely!!love his style!
They're in NYC, but are they American? I'm thinking no. Their totes, their tailoring... They've got to be Italian.
Maybe the guy on the left is from somewhere else in Europe, but I'm flatly saying they can NOT be Americans.
Both ensembles are stunning, but I think my favorite thing about this photo, what stopped me from moving on quickly, is the fact that both of them are wearing such lovely smiles. The smiles lend a genuineness to fashion, which is often sorely lacking.
I adore the little sunburst in the photograph.
Classic look , cant go wrong. Timeless.
Although the ascot is too exposed.
Thumbs up for the Four-In-Hand tie knot! So many guys want to fill the space between the collars, but my instinct is always against the big Windsors.
Once and for all: YES! Real men carry bags -- and eat quiche. When living in the City, and constantly on the go, you need a variety of things with you at all times. These can be carried easily in a smart bag, leaving your trouser and jacket pockets free from bulging
Interesting...oversized jackets and overly long and baggy hip-hop width pants.
Are middle aged men in USA now reaching towards baggy youth styles?
Unflattering. Smiles make the picture, though.
that is the wrong type of knot to tie with a English spread collar. he should be working on a full widsor, not a four-in-hand
YUM!
sophisticated gyz
Dude on the right looks exactly like Woody Harrelson.
Check out the lovely patina on those brown shoes! I think that their jacket sleeves could be a hair shorter, to be picky. I need to see some "linen."
This is Ralph Lauren at it's best. Thirty years from know this photograph will drip with style. The ascot with the six on two double breasted suit with ticket pocket is killer. The keaton collar worn by the gentleman on the left is stunning. BRAVO!!
