Blogger CW said ... (5:19 PM) :

Yes she's young, pretty and almost anything will look good on her, but how can she walk in those shoes without pain?

Blogger Noah Champion said ... (5:40 PM) :

It's a terribly clever marriage of two very contrasted seasons.
The lighting beautifully accents the inherent motion of every fabric and shape.

And the shoes are a complete coup.

Anonymous Justine said ... (5:42 PM) :

Fashion and weather... them are a bit too linked and I wonder when I'd try the leg style in rainy london!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:28 PM) :

I adore the skirt and heels! Not as crazy about the top, but overall she looks just lovely:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:29 PM) :

Sart, how about show a picture of this woman's feet when she gets home. I'm sure those high heels are pretty disfiguring. People look at this site and think, thats beautiful, I want to look like that. It's insane though. Those shoes, with such high heels, look ridiculous. Yes the men are comfortably dressed but the women must parade around showing as much skin as possible while carrying out something that is tantamount to foot binding.

Blogger Friend in Fashion said ... (6:29 PM) :

Love the crisp blue + white + the heels are gorgeous!

Blogger addictedtoysl said ... (6:33 PM) :

The pleating on the skirt is wonderful and I love the Alaias.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (7:06 PM) :

Absolutely gorgeous, the differing textures, the pleats, summery blue & wintery cardi, accented beautifully with that stunning necklace!

Blogger Heba Elkayal said ... (7:08 PM) :

A bit of a clash with regards to the very summery feel of the blue and white skirt and a very warm wool cardi over the shoulders. But i must say there's such movement to the skirt that one can forgive her slightly. The shoes are magnificent. Perhaps the outfit would look more pulled together if her skirt and blouse were darker colors? In either case, it's a statement of summer slowly transitioning to fall and how one tries to hang on to the last rays of summer. In some ways, quite beautiful.

Blogger elsie said ... (7:10 PM) :

if I were an alien from another planet and your blog was my only reference to human females I would have to conclude that they all possessed incredibly long slender legs - each and EVERY one of them... stunning!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:32 PM) :

Wow ! Love the skirt and the shoes. They give a great sense of lightness !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:33 PM) :

Love the glasses and the way work with her hair. And the sense of lightness that her skirt and shoes provide - wow ! I am in love :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:38 PM) :

Oh my Oh my~! Those legs and those shoes and that skirt and her youth and happy spirit~! Thank you~!

Anonymous Grace said ... (9:38 PM) :

I'm not feeling this look. Personally, I find the proportions to be wrong. Thought the look does have interesting texture--and I suppose it is meant to be a transitional look-- the fabric combinations are just wrong. The shoes are fab, but inappropriate. She is a gorgeous lady and this shot is perfection (as always!), but as far as fashion goes, I've seen better.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:53 PM) :

I can see why you took this - look at the hem and the shoes mirroring each other. But I am very attracted to that light fuzzy cardigan about to slp off her shoulders.

Blogger Juliette said ... (9:55 PM) :

Those are great shoes! And the whole outfit is amazing and very summery. I have started a blog with pictures from DC where women have been taking advantage of these last summer days to wear cute summery outfits like this one. Check it out: spottedindupontcircle.blogspot.com

Thanks.

Amazing! I sat beside this woman at the hair salon that very same day. At first glance, her outfit seemed to not go together, but when she stood up, it was just fabulous! I thought the skirt and the shoes were what pulled it all together, and that pink sparkly necklace was icing.

Blogger Bookworm said ... (9:57 PM) :

from where are those shoes?
i just got a pair that looks dautingly similar (may even be the same, but it's difficult to tell...) at Forum Tufi Duek, a high-end Brazilian store. Although this is of no help to those in other countries, followers from Brazil can rejoyce!)
beijos!

The shoes are by Ann D (I assume) - BUT for a much less pricier version, Jeffrey Campbell Julys are where it's at - PLUS they have a walkable heel/wedge, not like these ones. Available here:http://www.solestruck.com/jeffrey-campbell-july-2-black-suede/index.html
