PERFECTION!
the colors, the walk, the fabrics!!
and of course, her shoes!!
Hook The Look
look at them fancy shoes..lovely
love love
The woman has funky shoes but goes well with the dress. My friend recommended this site http://www.makemechic.com and found cheap dresses and women's shoes that fashion lovers like me with a budget can splurge on.
She looks like a young SJP!
killer everything!
her shoes are fierce and lovin her walk
the perfect moment in time.
wonderful photo - movement,color - lovely

What are made of? (about heels and about strips...)
I love her style!!!!!!
her glasses look ridiculous, far too big for her face; they look like a novelty gift you get from the fair.
Those shoes though, are gorgeoua! OH my! Loving how subtle the grid pattern of the check matches.
love the entire ensemble!
I love the oversize sunglasses on her face - though they are in the Wayfarer shape which is terribly over-saturated, it certainly manages to look good while ballooning the shape and trend to satirical proportions. The pants on the man in the back fit superbly and the show of ankle with the sock-less loafers is classic - what makes it work though is the fit of those pants. Well played on his part.
Absolutely love the girl's outfit! She looks perfect with her dress, her coat, her big sunglasses, her YSL shoes! So GOSSIP GIRL!
WOWSA! Love the shoes..and I agree also..."young SJP"!!
I have his shoes! they are awesome
perfect shot! I also love the proportion of her sunglasses.
this is amazing on so many levels

I LOOOOOOOOVE THIS!!!! :)
I feel the energy.
No to the sunglasses. Gorgeous shoes. Such attitude!
wonderful! I love the yellow with the brown of her cape, that's harmony! great shoot!
It's so youthful and dramatic! I love how the wind is blowing. The wind completes the outfit!
love the shoes but not with the dress and wrap/overcoat. glasses too big, too. not feelin' it. great plaid with yellow bubble.
Wow it looks like a true Fall fashion street show! Great outfit and a great photo!
Very very nice:))))...Wau..
Gorgeous outfit! I adore the movement in this photo...
Elegant, feminine, colourful, chic, just enough irony to make a statement...this is a fashionable woman indeed.

Its all about her WRAP with me!!! I love wraps sooo much!
Everything BUT the sunglasses!
amore darling!! i love the gentleman in the background as much i do the lady in the forground....first commentor set it right....the fabrics, the colours, and oh those shoes!
This photo dances. This site just gets better and better.
The YSLs look better in real life this this. She's very cool.
Great shoes <3
the frame and colors of the photo are amazing!!!

it's wearable and trendy. Powerful color and shoes.
Love the shoes and the colour of the dress is great. The texture really gives it the sense of chic.
Great cape, but lose the cigarettes.
I love the shoes here, def!
wow she looks Amazing!
maybe I've got selective seeing because I just bought white jeans, but isn't this the third boy in white jeans at nyfw??
Have to say she has the best sunglasses
I love the two style!!!!!! great job again again
http://www.befashionlike.com
a fun and funny picture!
Great shot & great clothes.
And those over-sized shades could use their own zip code, but they work.
awwwww how cute, they are playing dress up.
Holy crap! I know them...it's Becca Shumlin and Remy Renzullo. Keep your eye on them, trust me.

this feels like a first day of prep school picture. I don't like her glasses, but everything else is just beautiful.
i love the combination of the plaid with the cage heels
love the photograph! But I am waiting for the sartorialist shots on style.com! Won't they be this season?
Beautiful Photo!
Those shoes are going to leave some interesting tanlines.
Oh my gosh! That is me and my best friend/up-and-coming designer Remy Renzullo! This is so funny, we had no idea somebody was taking a picture.

she looks like blossom russo playing dress up. shoes are hot, however!
looks like a teen vogue "fashion mogul" editorial shot!
the guy in the white 'farers behind blaire w is hi-larious
The brown, yellow and hint of camel in the cape is really fantastic. It's great on her, and a great, unexpected color combination. The pieces are beautiful together too. While they are loose and flowing, her body is still giving off a sensual, sexy feeling.
I dislike each separate element of this outfit, and the sum of its parts is, in my opinion, more fashion victim than SJP, to me. Not my thing, sorry!
*beyond beautiful..oh wow! Too hot! :)

Love the gold and brown contrast. Very impressed when people know how to dress when the calendar says one thing and mother nature says another. I have those shades. Mine are green and I won them at the state fair. My giant teddy bear I won the year before is wearing them.
If those glasses got any larger they would swallow her head, otherwise the rest is quite comfy.
i love both of their outfits... they kind of look like they're doing homework or are on a field trip. that makes me kind of jealous... they're young and fabulous.
YSL SHOESSS!!!! omg. she looks absolutely fabulouss. i love her shawl (?). Stunning.
<3 The Voguette
Very chic. i like it.

Here we can see what happens, if you are wearing fancy shades that don´t work with the shape of your face in ANY way... didn´t she look into a mirror when she bought these? The rest of her outfit is great, indeed!
Everything so amazing. Those shoes have the most interesting heel. Love the colors...
who are these people? i saw them sitting at thuy, they look awful young..
...same as everybody; incredible shoes
i love white trousers.

OMG one of THE BEST photos....great style as well
is that Fiona Apple?
Looks like a scene from an old episode of Sex and the City...
Brilliant look. The oversized glasses are a great touch.
Does her mom know she stole her YSL shoes?
The shoes are a lovely touch to her outfit! I love how you captured the wind through her cape/coat fantastic!
I know them, we went to hs together. Becca Shumlin and Remy Renzullo for the winn
<3 YSL Cage booties
The flow of her poncho, her dress, her hair....perfection!
I had the same sunglasses (black ones) Ralph Lauren...they were my favorites...until they were stolen((((
How about that BRILLIANT Proenza Schouler skirt?
They look like they are having fun! For me, the photograph isn't just about her- but the two of them together, on an outing, in NYC!
(However, I thought of SJP as well:)
Perfection. Utter and complete perfection.
Hmmm - its all a little "costumey" for me. Her glasses are just plain silly. Are we sure this isnt from the set of a tv show or movie??
New York New York!
Always stylish
http://www.justnorman.blogspot.com/
the blog that no one knows about
No hipster!
I love this look, the sunglasses & shoes really seal the deal. Funny though she is ultimate high low, the poncho is urban outfitters 2007/2008.
The shoes and sunglasses do me
Love the yellow bubble hem contrasted with the otherwise dowdy brown...and of course the YSL's...
whoa those heels...
www.thoughtsbyelicia.wordpress.com
Hmmm. Airline blanket chic?
I LOVE HER LOOK. IT´S VERY YOUNG AND COOL, BUT STILL CHIC.
My absolute favorite of your photos (perhaps only following your various "old man style" snaps)! The outfits are amazing, but I just love the movement, the way you captured them, the way they're holding their papers. wow.
this is gorgeous.
her sunglasses, shoes, everything!
and the man looks quite good as well
both pairs of sunglasses are awesome. i love the cape.
She looks really young! And has YSL shoes?! Ugh LUCKY!
Super cute!
xoxo
Oh my gosh, she has my cape on!! This is a first!
love the candid pics...clothes in motion...they do cover our limbs and limbs are rarely still...you seem to have caught this cape in its original purpose, it was designed to move flowingly... standing still nice pic, but not as nice...great job when are you in chicago
Are they the next Lauren Santo Domingo and Derek Blasberg?
Lovely self confidence to go along with the fabrics and color. But yes, the shoes!
I love her flowing checkered cape and those cage YSL pumps!
this non-posed pose is tremendous
DRAMATIC !
I <3
I love I love I love !!! :)
thaTs amazing, i adore it! the big sunglasses looks great and the shoes are WOW :)!
Her look is fabulously confident - great photo.
Also, liked your book very much... happy to see that you included the photo from way back in the beginning of the woman in Paris who made a coat out of a robe. It is ever so colorful and one that I will never forget.
I think I may have fallen in love with the shoes.
feeling it!
They both look quite good, But don't ya think when you gotta prop the head up to keep the shades on they might be a bit to big? Kinda looks like she has her moms on...
P.S. smoking kills not cool!!!
What an amazing outfit - the colours are fabulous togehter. The strut is helping too!!
I love it when people shot on the street actually comment here. Becs, you look fantastic! Your sunnies couldn't be any bigger if they tried, but screw it, love it anyways.
Energie
This is my favorite post in a while. The movement; the texture; the youthful playfulness of it all. I love it. Its very inspiring. I like their super chic combined with slightly quirky. And I like their attitudes, evident in their posture and smiles.
The shoes are killing me! Please, someone say it's okay to wear them in the mountains of Montana.
Fabulous shoes!!!!!nice walk!!!!!
Take the sunglasses off and this would be a perfect pic of chicness
I thought those YSL shoes were over. I see she's pairing them with plaid. But I'm not getting that the cape is a good choice for just after Labor Day.
nyc
These kids are fabulous! And she is my granddaughter. I am so proud of them. Oma
you know....they look like upper east side's children
xoxo
you know you love me ;)
www.marlalovesyou.blogspot.com
wanna know her??!??! follow her blog ;)
flove her shoes!!!!!!
http://hemp-fembotfatale.blogspot.com/
Wonderful photograph. Content-wise, too much designer stuff too young for me, reinforced by the sunglasses reminding me of my two year old playing dressups.
i love her outfit and his for that matter. Is it me or something about this girl just bother you? Nothing wrong with confidence, but she seems a little too much...
did she just come from a 3D movie?
does no one else think those glasses are funny?
not ugly...just funny
oh jesus, this is totally great!
the girl reminds me of sjp!!!!so new york
Are the heels of her shoes made of wire? Those are amazing.
Are those Zanottis?
www.stranazione.blogspot.com
i adore this picture, they just look so efortlessly cool and laid back. amazing, xx
I am familiar with that coat, AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
they are kids right? it's not just me?
while i love the movement captured in the photo i hate the fact that it is also a picture of a very young girl smoking
I agree with an earlier comment - something about this girl just ... bothers me.
I think it's that I associate youth with a sense of fun and experimentation, of testing the limits - of fashion risk ... here, I see a young girl looking like a 38 year old fashion editor. Wearing last season's clothes, like a little girl playing dress up with the things Mommy has let her have because she's not going to be wearing them anymore.
Not necessarily a bad thing, but where's the fun and freedom? - well, actually, that DOES sound fun and free!
She's just SO on point. All the way to the set of her chin and her cigarette held just right.
I know the sartorialist always has a REASON for shooting which is not always obvious to me, so I'm going to assume that what he wanted to capture is the beauty of a girl 'trying on an outfit', and doing it with such panache. I don't see that she 'owns it' yet, but I'm seeing a wonderful sense of playfulness suddenly - the oversized glasses, the cape that swallows her yet moves nicely with the wind, the winsome 'little girl' hair-do...
okay she doesn't bother me anymore. I love her...
Thanks to The Sartorialist for sparking thought and photographic/fashion discourse!
God I want those shoes! And the way you captured the cape is terrific.
The only thing: I hate those sunglasses. They don't look great. "If you're silly and you know it clap your hands!"
Give me those shoes now. I don't know if I would wear them or gaze at them lovingly.
I love both of their outfits!
And the combination that they create is perfection!
Great shot!
I honestly loathe with every fiber of my being the overuse of the word "perfection." Thank you Rachel Zoe.
yeah look on this funcy shoes !! and dress lovely !:)))
