I love the contrast between the B&W. New Yorkers always look so chic, and you're so able to capture that look.

Blogger Cristi Silva said ... (5:23 PM) :

that second one is awesome

Blogger Antonio Barros said ... (5:24 PM) :

Both shoes are amazing!

Both of these are very nice. Which one would I wear? The first one is so chic. I somehow can't wear bright red unless it's very subtle.

I also love it when the daily comment code is ironic to real life. Today, it wants me to spell "rain" as it's raining outside...

I love her skirt. The pleats are gorgeous. x

Blogger Catherine Blair Pfander said ... (6:29 PM) :

what an adorable little mia farrow crop that second girl has going on. why is it that on the last leg of my hair-growing excursion I get all antsy for the short stuff again?

UGHHH.

Blogger Chloe said ... (6:30 PM) :

I love both looks, but the pair of shoes in the first photo are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous- I need them!

a just loved her sunglasses. so chic!

Blogger SarahELizand said ... (7:20 PM) :

I do like the top photo, especially the skirt, but the second one is what I love. Her short hair and bold red dress with the folds is something I'd love to wear! Plus the shoes and jacket complete it so perfectly.

Blogger miss sophie said ... (7:26 PM) :

the shoes on the first girl are so lovely - it's an on-trend look that's very right now but also a great pair that you can wear for seasons to come. love the way she's rocking out that blazer too :)

Blogger Megan Vandervort said ... (7:39 PM) :

The first ensemble is to die for personally. Very stylish lady indeed. Love the very feminine pleated skirt and elasticated two-tone heels. :)

Blogger Lucy in the Sky said ... (8:30 PM) :

Love the shoes on the first ensemble. And I just adore everything in the second outfit.

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (8:35 PM) :

Both women:

Very perky, very perfect for early Indian Summer.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:40 PM) :

why are these women dressed so simply, yet they look so chic. urgh, i bet they both don't wear any makeup and are naturally beautiful too. how i long to be one of 'those' girls :(

Blogger Tim McFarlane said ... (10:50 PM) :

Both of these are really nice photos. I like what both women are wearing. Very simple, but any thing but plain.

The framing, pose and colors are wonderful in the second shot. There are some really nice lines and shapes to the overall composition. The bold colors are eye-catching but sit well in the photo. Once again, nice work!

Blogger IAMTHEANGELNEGRO said ... (10:53 PM) :

love red!

Blogger Rob said ... (11:46 PM) :

Black, White, and Red; three staple colors. I love the intense black, contrasted with strong reds. Both photos are fantastic and effortlessly beautuful.

Blogger Breathless said ... (1:23 AM) :

I love that short hair! Very chic!

Blogger Natalia | Look-A-Porter said ... (1:58 AM) :

Beautiful stylish girls! I love the shoes on both photos and am wondering if the first girl tried to match the colour of her lipstick with the colour of her skirt or it just happened naturally...

Blogger Nick Leonard said ... (1:58 AM) :

The top photograph is amazing.

Blogger Maya said ... (2:53 AM) :

I am warming up to this red thing that is going on for Fall. the second outfit is so cute its ridiculous. I love both of the blazers.

I want to marry the second one's hair.

Wait, that's probably not legal yet. Oh well, it is certainly striking, and she has a wonderful charm about her.

Anonymous Uwe Noelke said ... (3:15 AM) :

I like the second one best. Nice color. Just blue, red and black.

Blogger sofiasophie said ... (3:42 AM) :

The second pic is awsome!
I like son air gentil, sa pose delicate avec ses mains nonchalament posées sur ses genoux...
It is like if she was smiling without smiling. It is her eyes?

Blogger Acid said ... (5:05 AM) :

on the first photo:
charming outfit, charming moment.

The first woman looks like she could be Giovanna's sister or cousin

Blogger Rachel said ... (9:04 AM) :

i love the pleated skirts and the red! i'm a redhead so its next to impossible for me to wear red, maybe a skirt would work with a black top? i love pleats!

Blogger Emilie said ... (9:18 AM) :

Very chic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:24 AM) :

Adorable!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:22 AM) :

love them both but the girl in red is AMAZING!

Anonymous CK Dexter Haven said ... (11:38 AM) :

I usually dislike short hair on young women, but Damn, she's cute.

Ms. top red lady looks so happy and comfortable and I totally just want to crawl into those adorable shoes and be her for a day. Great shot. So expressive.

I love the first look, Prada shoes are very nice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:12 PM) :

both great outfits, but like others have said the shoes are definitely the best part! does anyone know where to find heels like these?

Anonymous Ave said ... (10:23 PM) :

This makes me want to cut my hair short again.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:11 PM) :

Wish I could marry the second woman (short hair). She is dripping with grace and class. I bet she's not only smart, but very kind. Sigh.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:01 AM) :

two very different shades of red with gorgeous pleating. loveit.

Anonymous jamieofalltrades said ... (12:33 AM) :

I love the girl in the chair, so cute!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:15 PM) :

I dig both jackets shown here. They have a more boxy kind of style that Im feeling right now. It seems like all the new jackets in stores I can afford are still cut in the style of the past 10 years which is overtly feminine and embelished with some annoying extra thing. Time to hit the thrift stores.

Blogger simplychic said ... (9:32 PM) :

i want that first outfit. it's so me!

Anonymous Le 21ème said ... (3:14 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:52 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:32 AM) :

LOVE the shoes in the first pic, where can I get them?????

Anonymous Natural Makeup said ... (8:59 PM) :

Really digging the second girls red dress, nice!

Blogger Maria said ... (12:36 PM) :

the best thing about these pictures is the relation of the person to the background. in the first, it looks like that chair was placed there just for her! in the second, her red skirt against the blue and grey-blue colors of the background is amazing.

Anonymous Suzanne said ... (9:13 AM) :

Both look absolutely stunning- well put together. Number 2 is a great shot, and I covet Number 1's outfit.

Anonymous Frank Fotograf Fotostudio Osnabrück said ... (12:39 PM) :

I prefer the first picture
