What a great smile!
very handsome!
Classic Double Breasted Italian Man.
Matteo is NICE FOREVER¡
Kisses from Spain
DELIA
I really love this look. if only we all looked that sharp in a double breasted suit!
- John@Stylejob
It's all in the tie!
Siply.....PERFECT, as usual!
monegasque@email.it
lovely lightweight suit and great smile.
Wonderful DB! What a great accessory: his smile.
I realize my attention should be on the suit, but the SMILE makes the outfit.
his crow's feet are beautiful
number one....
Such a smile!
Vero Italiano.....
and very nice suit, the texture looks nice and good.....
Yummy!
I like the tie so much, makes his eyes pop.
first
I like the blazer bau I´m not sure about the tie, maybe so big?
didn't love this one. kinda feels like a catalog model; not in a good way either.
i did enjoy the tie sticking out, for some reason.
happy people always look great :)
That DB jackets fits perfectly, and that smile- you know he is a charmer by just looking at him.
Loved him in 'Valentino - the last Emperor'...
That's a pretty radical cut. You've got to be skinny to pull that off, and Matteo certainly does,
No wonder he is smiling, life is pretty good to Matteo.
The sprezzatura is evident with the tie sandwiched between the folds of the DB giacca.
I don't think I would pocket my hands like that. Over time, they will ruin the natural shape of the pockets. Two, the hands-in-pockets with thumbs sticking out is decidedly Victorian.
Pietro
Yep...An a Italian man!!! Beautiful suite, beautiful smile and that hair, makes me want tto run my hands through it!
FANTASTICO!....I'm not normally a fan of check db suits but I'll make an exception in this case because the check while bold is muted. Also not the classic cutand the shape of the pants. It's not a full length photo but I think we can safely assume that they will be neither drainpipe of flood in styling. It helps of course that that the guy is incredibly good looking but a suit of this quality and cut is going to make anyone look good. Interesting use of button down with DB which I don't think works quite as well although the effect is actually quite pleasing probably because the whole ensemble emphasises the face, your eye goes straight to it!...I'd be interested to see a full length photo. Although this gentleman doesn't pop on world best dressed lists he's one top ten in my view.
Nice Sprezzatura effect with the tie.

can't anyone see that the tie looks affected? great suit. nice looking guy but the tie looks absolutely ridiculous. the definition of trying too hard.
classy
Nice suit and tie, but I was never a fan of a button down collared shirt with a double-breasted suit - this is no exception - they just don't go well together...

also, button down shirts rarely look proper with the inherent formality of double breasted jackets.
love the extra wide tie

that smile eclipses his outfit, i want to meet him based on his grin!
i love his smile. it makes me smile =)

Button down shirt with a DB suit is a no-no. That's the only thing I can criticize.
is the overlap of the tie intentional?
Oh, my goodness, he gives me the vapors, he's so handsome...

what a gorgeous original suit! You captured him perfectly.

Damn! He has me with his smile.
Wow. Such a charmer.
great smile!
smart suit, worn well. as others have noted, button downs aren't for DBs.
That buttoned down collar does not work. Interesting soft shoulders and fabric. A higher res photo would show more detail about the pattern.
nice suit nice pattern
I love the way the lapels and tie fan out. It looks so interesting!
Nice suit. I love his smile.
Oh gosh, what a nice smile!
Beautifully cut suit and peak lapels, the tie I want very badly !
Would have liked to have seen his footwear ...Thanks
I would never pick out this texture as fabulous if left to my own devices, but here, I LOVE it!
The way you've changed the light in these photos from your more usual choice is very interesting. Gives a very retro (50s) feeling, as does his facial expression.
Aonie loves matteo
Mr. Marzotto always looks impeccable. I wonder if he's wearing Valentino? :D
are double breasted jackets coming back?
either way i like the look - very classic
Matteo Marzotto is always an impeccable gent with lots of style, a great smile and a big heart.
I believe in the human race.
this men looks good in anything!
OMG! he have such a beautiful smile, really charming!
"If there is one alteration that guys don't do enough it is having the sleeves slimmed down on a suit. That separation between upper arm and chest drops ten pounds on the look of an average guy - try it you'll see."
this guy has somewhat of a "V-separation cut" suit. he gets away with it because he is already slim.
just wanted to share an observation since i am very particular about the separation as well.
love him & love the suit
love the the way the lopsided tie sits, tucked in there
Great look. Bring back the double-breasted!!!!
See, this just isn't fair. If you're HIM you can pull off anything. Put a normal guy in that same combo and we'd all be laughing at him.
Look at this look: the colours, the tie, the double buttons... it's just perfect. This is how men should dress.
ordinarily i hate a button down with any suit, especially double-breasted, but eh has the panache to carry it off with ease

......You couldn't be more wrong sir.......a well cut db looks great on most men.....the emphasis is on well cut......I'm in my mid sixties and although not the hunchback of Notre Dame, I am nowhere near as good looking as this guy (who is other than George Clooney or Brad Pitt) but whenever I wear on one of my DB's they always provoke an admiring comment or two.....you should try it but don't get a cheap one.....they do look awful!!......they are actually particularly flattering on the guy with some weight btw
Now, you might have at least told him his tie was sticking out. The cut is a little unusual, but classic enough, and quite sharp. You do, however, have to be Cary Grant to wear a DB with a button-down collar.
I Love the lack of shoulderpads that make the jacket follow the natural shape of his shoulders..Very Italian and a very nice way to make a DB suit less stiff!
Love it!
A perfect look for him, that would look just hideous in me. Pure envy!
he is my favorite man!!!
so smart and nice.
stunning smile too.
always
Mateo has impeccable style, always. My only critique is his haircut. It's too 'rounded' and does not flatter his great facial structure. He needs a new stylist.
matteo is simply gorgeous...of course: the italian men aren't on the top now. let's see berlusconi. I'm italian. I would like a different (and smart) president. Stunning smile although!!of course...Matteo!!!
Matteo still looks good since the last time I saw him in Valentino The Last Emporer.
Love the way the tie is sticking in his jacket. So chic.
Ferre makes a similar suit, which I have.
Rarely see someone look so comfortable in a DB suit. Great color/fabric weight combo for early Fall. Smart, rich tie. Would be curious to see how it would look if the collar wasn't buttoned down. Has a timeless feel without looking retro.
Some people can wear whatever they want. With this amazing smile and gorgeous face, who cares about the outfit?
Anyway, the outfit is very nice, though the picture could be better (if it's really possible) if he hadn't his hands inside the pockets.
But he's so good looking that i'll agree with someone here: I believe in the human race. he even made me comment for the 1st time here.
again the champion. when winning gets old, there's always other distractions...
maybe the collar does not work...
the perfect man!
Reminds me of a young Robert Redford; Legal Eagles
Matteo Marzotto?
This guy is one of the best dressed men in the world although I've never seen his name on any of the lists. He's also incredibly handsome which helps. This is how a DB suit should look. Perfectly tailored but looks as comfortable as if it was an old leather jacket. The tie sitting between the lapels is a distinctive personal touch. Even though the button down breaks the rules he gets away with it because of the strength of the overall look. Gianni Agnelli used to affect the same combo but he'd leave the button down unbuttoned. Really it hard to find anything to criticise about about his appearance.
beautiful smile!!
I love the soft shoulders, he reminds me of the pictures of the guys in my barbers though!
I actually have an issue with the shoulders and the armhole - it is just not complimentary to his body.
In addition, I don't particularly think the colour of the outfit is complimentary to the gentleman's skin tone.
button down collar with double breasted jacket = no
