That purse, and the way she's holding it, just completes the look and gives it a nice edge.

Anonymous MaxW said ... (3:29 PM) :

Looks great but a full frontal would have helped. Squizing the last out of summer.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:32 PM) :

so simple, totally effortless head turning traffic stopping chic.

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:32 PM) :

Sure, if you consider Vogue editors/socialites/wives of billionaires to be REAL women! More like surreal.

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (3:38 PM) :

She's wearing tall.

The shoes are adventurous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:38 PM) :

The shoes are getting out of fashion, which is good. I look foreword to see ladies´ shoes look like ladies´ shoes again!

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:44 PM) :

ok about the previous comments, this is not effortless, but looks effortless and that is what is important in fashion. and is what does not happen with the guy in the suit in sixth ave in nyc...
Now she does look so fresh and young, Id change the bag and put something like this maybe::
http://www.mercedessalazar.com/new_en/necklaces/456-sea-urchin
;))

Blogger Rosalind said ... (3:53 PM) :

Wow, she is beautiful. I love that its simple and beautiful. This is my dream girl

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:43 PM) :

The YSL shoes are great, but Joan Shepp in Philadelphia had them and apparently they're uncomfortable because of a big stitch on the ball of the foot. I think they were around $1,200, too.

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:55 PM) :

This girl is perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:39 AM) :

She's beautiful. I LOVE the shoes!!! They are seriously fabulous!

Is the bag navy? I have still been doing the not mixing brown and black thing. Have we thrown that out? Would make life easier.

Blogger Barbara said ... (11:18 AM) :

Magnificent! She's beautiful, her body in her dress is stunning, and her shoes are beyond magnificent. She's a peach. So New York......

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 AM) :

I love this photo. Looks like she's stopping traffic!

Anonymous Verdiales said ... (12:03 PM) :

Simple, totally luxe.

Now we know why men used to buy women flowers, impulsively, on the street, doff their hats, and flash big smiles.

This kind of thing is an ornament to life and makes the heart leap a bit.

Thanks, Lauren!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:12 PM) :

Very chic, of course, but even by the standards of the fashion industry, she's really thin. It's like looking at a sheet of paper edgewise. So not something all of us could pull off...

Blogger The Daily Connoisseur said ... (12:16 PM) :

She looks fantastic... I love this.

Blogger rebelglam said ... (1:19 PM) :

delicious shoes! and shoes should never match bag color. she's great. maybe i need to stop eating so much!

Anonymous Verdiales said ... (1:22 PM) :

Was she wearing something around her neck? Looks like some sort of pendant.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:12 PM) :

I LOVE Lauren Santo Domingo.

She is one of my all time favorite

NYC girls.

In this photo - unobvious chic - so timely.
