Giovanna is a kind of genius. No one can or should try to imitate her.
She is Italian and uses that fact with, for example, the often severe middle-parted hair. No one else could wear her hair like this and look so wonderful. The lace in this picture, accompanied by the ornate jewelry is also a throwback to that Italian heritage.
I adore her and have a file. I have one picture of her (smoking outside somewhere) in a severe suit with hair rolled up. She looks rather like Maria Callas.
