Wow, I love this look. Very cool and also sophisticated.
Great look! Thanks for sharing!
Love the dress, especially the pockets! And the shoes make me envy her.
She is super cute! I love her mix of styles. Casual, fancy, with a little rock and roll.

If you hadn't already said those exact words, I would have immediately said how whimsical I thought this was!
I love the colour and fbaric combinations.. The feathers just make it rather playful. Not too serious!
And gorgeous boots..

the shoes really work perfectly with the that dress - i imagine that was hard to pair.
god that feathered piece is phenomenal!!

i love seeing the same people on different blogs, i get to see so many perspectives. you and 'jak&jil' share a lot of the same fashionable people. i create all these back stories in my mind. i love knowing that all of these fabulously chic people cross paths all the time, and that they love sharing their love for all things wearable.
basically: seeing this woman on jak and kil i thought "i love how the feathers and cardigan lend a sense of femininity to her edgier black pallete and chunky shoes."
on your blog i thought: "how amazingly simple and classic, with a fun feather detailing to give her that extraa something."
perspective.
it's all about perspective.
regardless, everyone on the blogs i follow are impeccably refined in their wardrobe.
I think there should be a law that everything has to have pockets! Love this look and how she just threw on the cute cardi over such a statement dress!

Oh -- Love it. A perfect mix of kind of summer but almost fall. The feather details won me over. Great outfit.
Amazing! these pics are so pretty and so is the women.
I love what she's wearing
Hook The Look
Lovely feathers and frolic...
In the first photo, I could not figure out what the fringe was - from a lovely scarf! She is very cute, has great legs, her shoes/boots are nice, great earrings. The background of the shutters, dress shop and yellow lines on the pavement is very nice also.
How chic and cozy!
mmmm those shoes
amazing!!!!
she has a very magical vibe going on, effortless and chic.

very nice: easy, sexy, just a tad sophisticated, care-free and casual all at the same time.
yes, the pockets are just right! just dont put your keys in them....i know i ve got pockets like them...
still, fashion is not always about practicality:)
I love those shoes!
I like the way that her hair and the feathers seem ready to fly away at a moments notice. What a pretty picture.
i love the bubble hem and the texture of the feathers chic yet playful
That's a fun way to play on the bubble hem into pockets. Surprise pockets instantly make me love the garment!
Wonderful dress!!!!
=**
Her boots are our favorite part of the outfit
so cute!

Genius! No more need for clutches ...
Those boots are fantastic!

Love the combination of slick and floaty, nubby and light. So much happening in few colors!
Love the juxtaposed textures, colours, nonchalantly placed hands in pockets and the feathers! The navy against baby pink is stunning too! Such a playful, fun & beautifully-put-together outfit!
one of my favorite shots and subjects of yours; she is elegant, playful and so unique.
Cute Carrie Bradshaw look-alike, except she's more real. Ah, to be young again and flashing the gams! I, too, really like the pockets and also the long sleeves as a contrast to all the leg exposure. She rocks her own style.
You, Jak, and Jil all seem to be at the same places!
I love the first shot of this... The pockets really are a nice detail. I really dislike the cut of the sweater, though!
the boots compliment the dress rather well.
She wears it so well! btw your book is amazing. hopefully i can make it to your book signing tuesday =)
hate to be a naysayer here, but without pants or a skirt, this look is half-baked.
Her legs are lovely, but ... get dressed, for goodness sake ...
This is perfection, love the cute pockets and the unexpected sweater with this outfit!
I've seen skirts with these kinds of pockets, but never a lovely dress like this one! Something about it is classy yet nightlife-ish. I love it! Reminds me of the 20's for some reason.
i love that this dress is navy!
I love the shoes, and she is a pretty lady, not 20 anymore, really beautiful, but she doesn't look confident in that dress, like she is trying to pull down the hem, so I think the whole outfit would look much better with leggings, trousers or even with jeans.
But its a great shot of a beautiful woman!
you notice first the whimsy. you notice next the beautiful textures.
very lovely look. :)

i have those boots :D
1) she should have worn her hair differently though..
2) colors colors colors... i dont know i like things to match and they just arent in this outfit.. i mean pink cardigan, navy blue dress, black shoes, and brown bag? maybe if her shoes were navy blue? i dont know she couldve made an attempt or something but i still love the cardigan over dress look
wow stunning outfit!!!
really like her heels...

Boots and bag without matching?
perfection
It is such a perfect expression when a real individual faces us.
pockets make the outfit! skirts should all have them, dresses to infact. and I can't tell whether the feathers are part of the dress or a scarf but I know I like them, would be quite figure flattering to the flat chested amoung us
lovely..
luv the dress not crazy about the sweater

I don't think life gets much better than this outfit. Effortlessly feminine and sophisticated. Heaven.
that girl has beautiful legs! lovely dress too.
Gorgeous lady! I love this look. Elegant and comfortable - love that you can feel the textures just from looking a the photo.
The pockets are genius!
Great legs to fit the shoes ( I appreciate them being polished ) and a personal dress.
I don't know, Sart, I think you're just gaga over navy.
The boa and fluffy sweater do go well together as textures.
Love the contrast in textures.
Full of attitude. Love it
Great dress! I really like that the pockets don't alter the dresses shape.
That's an awesome dress, and she wears it so well, like it's made for her. The pictures are amazing. Your blog is a piece of art, by the way.
Feathers on anything will always win me over!
love the dress and the whole look works. very balenciaga circa 2001
She is darling...I love her look, now there's a girl with style!
I love that she looks so great in her whimsical way wile appearing to be on my side (the far far side) of 20.
i find it funny that people still react to things like 'bags and shoes not matching'. A black bag would have been too heavy for this outfit i find, but the black shoes just give her the right standing.
Same for "blue and black dont match". I like the combination a lot, because it is a subtle way to loosen up the 'bat factor'. And black can look brownish or blueish or greenish, depending on the light and the texture. A good way to play for the less daring of us.

natalie woo! you look hot!
Amazing dress and I love sweaters so you can never go wrong with one haha =)
i like the cardigan. pretty :-)
I absolutely love her dress.
Gosh!!!

I adore this shade of navy, the feathers are so lovely and the boots are gorgeous....also love the tone of the handbag.
