Blogger mette said ... (11:26 AM) :

I don´t know; is it just me or is there something wrong with the colors on this picture? Or is it just her tan? I wish she wore some heels, maybe that would give her a healthier look ?

Anonymous ioana said ... (11:30 AM) :

Oh, she's beautiful.

Blogger Thordis said ... (11:36 AM) :

I love it! She looks so italian - great style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:55 AM) :

Blue pleats, please! I love the ease and the comfort. She looks serene, like she just had a great afternoon. Contrast this look to Anna's last look and I'll take this one any day. Gorgeous.

Blogger Karoline said ... (12:17 PM) :

Those blue-tones is my favourite blue:)

Blogger beths said ... (12:18 PM) :

I like the mix of fabrics with the passementerie and pleats, stopping just short of upholstery! Also like the way accessories chime in with her hair.

Blogger Hayley said ... (12:23 PM) :

i absolutely love this.
the pattern on the skirt is amazing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:42 PM) :

The skirt looks custom made - I like it! Nice handbag, too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:47 PM) :

Love the color coordination - light colored trim and design on the skirt, light sandals, blond hair, tanned legs.

She is carrying a serious looking purse - I like it!

Who does the car belong to? EJL 2009!

Just noticed the white lines on the street - dotted and solid - also nice effect, as is the muted buildings, poster and flag.

Anonymous Yörch said ... (12:48 PM) :

That skirt is gorgeous. In my opinios it'd be better to use higher shoes to make her look even more tasteful. The bag can't be more perfect for the look.

Anonymous susan said ... (12:49 PM) :

just perfect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:56 PM) :

that skirt is one of the prettiest skirts i have ever seen. love it with the plain chemise and gold sandals. a very aesthetic and classy look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:39 PM) :

I fell in love with this photo. The shades of blue, her silhouette, golden sparks on her wrists, sandals belt and her hair! the tone of her skin, perfect!

Anonymous The Photodiarist said ... (1:41 PM) :

That is a fantastic skirt. the sandals are lovely as well.

Blogger blank_slate said ... (2:04 PM) :

brilliant skirt. wrong shirt.

Anonymous Alexa said ... (2:19 PM) :

This, I love. Simple but textural. I'm wondering if the blue overlay on the top half of the skirt is part of the skirt or something she added. Very stylish.

Anonymous Hazoon said ... (2:42 PM) :

love her outfit... the print and the belt on the skirt are beautiful... so are her shoes!

She looks so perfectly put-together. I love the skirt, and the gold shoes that pick up the bit of gold on the belt. Classic and elegant!

Blogger Marie El. said ... (2:54 PM) :

I love when people don´t follow trends! no more mainstream and copies, no more tight jeans and bling, no more paddings and sky high heels.. yes thank u :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:00 PM) :

I have those sandals--Prada. Whose skirt is that though?

Blogger thetwink1e said ... (3:03 PM) :

that blue shirt is perfect

Blogger m. said ... (3:09 PM) :

what an amazing skirt! sooo pretty. I want this one too. :(

Anonymous Coronita said ... (3:12 PM) :

Stunning. One doesn't see enough navy anymore.

Blogger ingefaer said ... (3:14 PM) :

She is really beautiful! I love just about everything here. The colors, her hair, the skirt. I even like the sandals - and she has a lovely facial expression, very serene.

Blogger Rachel said ... (3:35 PM) :

From her waist up is pure classic Scandinavia chic, while the bottom half suddenly gets more inventive. The sandals are genius with the shapes in the skirt, and keep the whole thing grounded, I think... really like this one.
What's her story, Scott?

Blogger Florence Rolando said ... (3:40 PM) :

SUBLIME!

Blogger Pat & Reg said ... (4:18 PM) :

I really love this original look. This week you seem to have returned to featuring more people who put together their own look with pieces that may or may not be designer labels but the results are completely unique and stylish. Cheers to that. It's the reason I began to follow your blog in the first place and where I got inspiration for my own wardrobe. Pictures of women who could pass as models wearing fabulous designer clothes and shoes? Boring because frankly, I could by a fashion magazine for that. I prefer your eye for unique fashion created by people who aren't afraid to be original.

Keep up the great work!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:19 PM) :

The skirt is Prada from a few years ago.

Blogger B3PA said ... (4:40 PM) :

is she an actresse of the telefilm L word?

Blogger hi-d said ... (4:52 PM) :

Nice! Well put together!

Blogger OC Modern Homes said ... (4:58 PM) :

Lovin the skirt!

Anonymous phyllis said ... (5:12 PM) :

The skirt looks like home dec fabric to me - but it works!

Blogger Cassiopeia said ... (5:26 PM) :

Beautiful. I love the belt. The skirt might be a tad too long, but it all looks so pulled together and chic yet sparkles with individuality. Gorgeous. Xxxc

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:41 PM) :

It is nice to see some one wear flats who is obviously genetically and stylistically endowed. It makes us lesser mortals dare to wear flats.Thank you, Linus

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:24 PM) :

This is it; this is style~!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:31 PM) :

The shoes made me happy-that she wasnt tottering around the city in heels but really was comfortable.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:03 PM) :

so cool...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:38 PM) :

Anybody notice the car in the background?

Just saying it is Mercedez Benz fashion week. Thought that was a funny coincidence...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:09 PM) :

So chic. I think this is my favorite photo of yours, Scott. Just wonderful.

Anonymous Kate said ... (1:57 AM) :

The outfit looks perfect on her, very stylish and tasteful and fun too. What great colors! And I *love* that she is wearing flats; it makes me wince to see all these photos of women in excruciatingly high heels but she looks like she can actually enjoy a walk.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:05 AM) :

I love her hair, her skirt, her shirt, her face&body, but I don't like the shoes with that skirt, heels would look much better, or ballerinas, but not those sandals.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:01 AM) :

Love the serenity(her mien!!) among the bustle...
Love the shirt...

Blogger Alison Pearson said ... (5:20 AM) :

I love this look too. She looks great. I'm wondering if the skirt is by the Barcelona designer Custo? I have one with the same pleats and a detail around the hem in contrasting colour and texture. I bought it here in Noosa, Australia but saw his stores recently in Madrid and Soho, New York.

This is my first post although I have been following for a few weeks now - and I love it ..
This look is fabulous, a complete antidote to the current picture. So much looks like it is trying way too hard at present.
This lady owns her look, does not appear to bow to trends and as a result looks beautiful, confident, timeless and utterly chic.
More than anything I love that she is wearing flats. This screams confidence to me and results in total elegance. All the stars for this one !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:17 AM) :

She is stunning! Love her skirt, shirt, hair, tan, all the details coming together. And love, love the shoes for this look -- it would have been so much less original with balerinas or heels. She owns it and it shows in her expression.

Great work, Scott -- you keep it so original with pics like these. Want to see more

Blogger ingefaer said ... (9:14 AM) :

I agree with Reg; I much prefer shots of people who exhibit their own style. And that is where you shine!

Blogger kahartland said ... (10:22 AM) :

its all very eccentric, isnt it? her skirt, the bag, perhaps even the shoes, and herself. it works if the peasant-y vibe doesnt bother you...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:29 AM) :

Lovely girl and nice clothes too. The shoes, however, change the shape of the legs and have too wide an opening in the front. Perhaps, it's me - I've always disliked sandals (very flat ones on women, and of every other variety on men) - but they distort the legs; I agree that flat 'ballerinas', Superga runners in blue or white or a higher heel shoe (even those wedge espadrilla like shoes with strings) would have made the ensemble perfect.

Anonymous Holly said ... (1:43 PM) :

In one word...PERFECTION!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:01 PM) :

She is your next book cover!

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (3:28 PM) :

Lots of money went into what she's wearing, but it looks smart so it's OK.

The skirt is memorable. Perfect choice of shoe - sandals.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:08 PM) :

LOVE THE SKIRT!

Blogger Tim McFarlane said ... (9:16 PM) :

That's a great skirt! Very nice shot, too.

Blogger yankeegrl506 said ... (11:43 PM) :

i don't know, i'm not really a fan...

Anonymous Georgiana said ... (7:36 AM) :

Wow, the lady in the first pic is soooooo stylish. Oh, and you're HOT! :D

Anonymous Georgiana said ... (7:38 AM) :

Oooops, sorry, I meant the lady in the first pic in the PREVIOUS post. It seems I wasn't paying attention :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:26 PM) :

Watch out! Car!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:23 AM) :

the whole outfit would have been perfect, however i find that either the length or the fullness of the skirt doesn't do wonders for her legs. just an opinion.

Anonymous samiya said ... (12:30 PM) :

love the shirt n the color is totally totally awesome.. i disagree with blank_slate completely.. n i agree with another person who nailed it right.. midnight blue silhoutte and sparks of gold.. perfect.. she looks picturisque and calmness personified

Anonymous You Frivolous Mommy! said ... (5:09 PM) :

I never wear high heels. I'd probably love her shoes. But I'd rather she wore heels. Love the style...apart from the shoes. Very Laureen Hatton, don't you think?

Blogger Marvin said ... (3:59 AM) :

Prada skirt about 8 years old. Just goes to show how timeless and elegant Miuccia's skirts are! Never throw Prada away!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:19 PM) :
